That's a pretty awesome build but just personally I would want to have a handle to hold onto for safety reasons because if someone's running real fast on that they could easily slip and hit their head on something and be injured really bad.
The problem is that the tubes are hollow and that with the bearings is what is making the sound. Fill the tubes with foam and cover them with some spray rubber and it should dampen it a lot.

I did plan to make a wooden slat belt similar to the one the Woodway Curve uses but have not got that far yet. I have the materials. Just wanted to test the rollers before starting on that part.
I'm the person running on the treadmill (I looked TERRIBLE). I also helped build it. I'm sorry to say that we do not have blueprints that we followed, it was mostly just eyeballing. And we did not film the building process since we had almost no idea what we were doing when building it. I could get you materials used if you would like, but that's about it.

@@kalamhussain1555 We were going to, and planning on it, but decided to just take another video of us taking it apart, so you can see exactly how it was made. That video should hopefully be in within 2-3 weeks. In another video after that we will try make some improvements on it as well.
@@mattyg19821 That is very true. It is a good thing we figured out how to make it from our own imagination. Also we posted another video on how it was made.
Great job and imagination. Question: can you full(really fast) sprint on this treadmill? Reason why I ask is because I’m trying to build one, with the purpose of doing sprint/walk/jog cycle workout. I wouldn’t be sprinting for longer than 45 sec at time. With 2 minutes in between the sprints. I’ll probably be doing 15 to 25 sprint per work out session 3 times a week.
Hey would be able to share mode detailed instructions? I was looking at the materials and all the bearing seems to be 22mm, but the size of the pipe is 25 mm. Thanks

While i love the engenuinty of the invention, you gotta make it much safer, i can see someone getting hurt running on it in the future if no necessary safety modification done.

Excellent and neat! Thanks for showing us it works. I am gathering parts to build one similar. I plan to use class 7 pvc pipes.

No seriously, great project!

Cool project. Wonder if it would be quieter with e.g. Carbon tubes. Carbon also would add some flex.
Wow love it .. any plans to try an old treadmill belt on it?

I like this, prob didn't cost 5000$ to make either.
If I will be made better than this treadmill then u will buy ?

Wow its so quiet!
I bet it came in handy during the covid-19 lock downs.
Awesome DIY
I wonder if you somehow coat the tubes with a soft rubber or foam coating it would muffle the noise better as well as cushion the feet.

To be fair if you can't work out how to make that by looking at it, probably best not to try
