I've lost count how many times I've gone back and watched some of these hands. Over any other player, Dwan has probably impacted the evolution of my poker game more than any other pro, hands down.
I noticed the Ace of diamonds but it shows hearts too. That was strange. Yeah I think Tom Dwan at this far in his career knows how much fortunes change and is always a good sport either way. He is just an elite player at the top and knows the game so well. 🎉
Good tell for Tom there too. Devilfish was reaching for chips before he even asked how much. Meaning he was willing to call pretty much any amount. At 12min 8 sec
the era where online players were starting to see serious results in live tourneys and it pissed off every live pro.... what an incredible time for poker. also amazing how bad the commentary was.
In the first hand, I didnt understand why a flushdraw had 0% on the turn. But later it showed the ace of diamonds on the table but still shows the ace of hearts on the screen. Weird.
The first hand had me stumped, when the commentator said nothing for Feldman, I was like eh? So are flush draws no good in this game? Then I saw the table, and I was like oh!
That first hand is some scary poker when I’m in the position, have the straight and then a damn heart comes out on the river that would of made me just call after he bet for sure, but gojng all in like a boss is so scary lol. And the other guy folding the flush he would of gotten is heart breaking
The graphic on the screen was wrong on that hand. The A on the flop was actually the A diamonds. I noticed on the turn when they showed the apparent flush draw as 0%.. Dwan still had the nuts on the river.
5:09 uhhh i found it weird that durrr felt so sure with his hand its shows in the sideline that the A is heart but when you see the table its actually diamond so theres no possible for a flash means dwan is 100% has the best hand
once on full tilt i saw durr river a st flush to win a 140k pot , the other guy flopped quads , he immediatly discoed after the river and i found out later he smashed his laptop lol!!
That Devil Fish trap was sick, he could have put Durr on the full house with that small bet. Don't think even Durr would have went all in if he didn't have 7Q.
How was Feldman 0% when he had two hearts with two hearts on the board? Last I checked a flush beats a straight and there were still hearts in the deck that could hit the river right?
1st hand: Tom got 440K thats a 90x reward on his 5K flop gamble, that's fully profitable in the long run playing very deep stacks. It is not luck but profitable investment, they don't show you the 16 times he misses.
In the first hand, Feldman was not drawing dead. He had outs a heart on the river would.give.him a flush. King of hearts came on the river, he would of won if he would of not folded.
Thats the difference between Fieldman and Dwan. Dwan is brave and has courage to take a risk while Fieldman has no confidence and scared to continue. He could have won with a flash but he decided to play it safe I mean he was on between a raise sometimes you have to take a risk for a massive payout. Its called gambling for nothing.
Why was the flush draw guy drawing dead in the first hand? Were 9 hearts somehow flopped? Couldn't he make a flush? Or were the only hearts left those that would make the boat for kagawa?

5:11 graphics show Ace of hearts, table shows Ace of Diamonds, yet we all thought Feldman held a heart flush draw. LOL
In the first hand you see the ace of hearts in the flop but its not the heart - its diamonds*
No its Ace of Diamonds
You right

Devil Fish trying to look like a 18 year old skater was always classic.
Tshirt + black jeans = 18 year old skater? huh?
the way he sucked Masa all in was diabolic
one for the picture books certainly
his lack of emotion after he crushed Masa was even more diabolic
But if you had that luck, would you have played those hands as perfect as he did to get the most out of them ?
Definitely not.
First hand was against a set. Money was going in regardless. The next 3 were all ins so no skill involved there
Money was going in anyways. Those other players got coolered.. If hands were reversed durrrr woulda gone broke too..
Robert Mark he checked at the on the turn... many people would check with a set there
Hitting your straight when your opponent has a set always feels incredible
then opponent flush came in the river

Andrew Oddo I was thinking the same thing
Andrew Oddo I was so confused too. I was like how on earth is a flush draw a 0% dead hand? It made sense when it was actually a diamond.
Exactly that’s why I was confused when the commentator said Feldman had nothing lol
me the same. why 0%?

Awsome table image.

Great luck for dwan there ! Amazing player great talent . Not to mention that deadly stare !
The check-raise on the river never gets old especially when you have the nuts.
Lool, ... anyone noticed how Gus tried to peak at Tom's cards at the start... hahahaha
Phil Hellmuth agreeing with Tom Dwan in the last one but always gets more angry than the guy when he's in that situation. Lmao
Masa looks like he hasn't slept in weeks.

Tom Dwan
Durrrr my fav poker player ♣️
garbage audio in the mid section.
One of the hardest things in poker is getting away from a hand when you have trips and there is nothing super obvious on the board that can beat you.
3 5 win japanese 8pair,all in.really huge dirty.
Gus Hansen and Tom Dwan are 2 my favs so good to see them sitting together...
Ace was diamond lol when I saw 10 8 of heart have 0% i thought something was wrong..they mistakenly had as hearts on the display
thought i was tribbing balls
This man is unexpected ... he's very dangerous
I like how phil just rubed devil.. 😂😂
Hahahahahaha 1:01 Gus Hansen looking directly at Dwan’s exposed hole cards. What a snake.
while at the beach "honey come listen, this seashell sounds like a poker table!"
Always good to see the Fish R.I.P.
3,5 offsuit is an interesting play, but the plus side is if you hit something it almost definitely doesnt help anybody else.
Not to mention, it's difficult for players to put you on a hand.
But Durr loves to limp, especially when they're not many players playing.
had someone noticed in the beginning it was a Ace of Diamond on the table but on the screen an Ace of Hearts
yes.coul of shrunk strength of Derrs straight
Masa Kagawa first time I've seen a pro poker player who almost blinks as much as Negreanu
That first hand made me do a double take because it looked like a video game with really good graphics
Tom is so good he also gets his oppenenets so worked up they start playing worse against him
You know videos are so much better with sound
Anyone notice espn had the wrong first hand? It was ace of diamonds on the board but they have the ace of hearts
I noticed too. The fact it was a diamond and not a heart makes a huge difference in how the hands would be played.
Crooked.
If there’s anyone on a poker table that needs to wear sunglasses, it’s Masa Kagawa I mean for fuxake
lmao
5:09 table has Ace of Diamond
