My nan bought a Capri Mk3 1.6 Laser, (she wanted a Brooklands, but Grandad said "NO!" :( ), and put 4000 miles on it just before giving up her licence. My dad took it on after she passed and put another 6000 on it before putting it in the garage. The only part missing is the parcel shelf because Grandad loaded the shopping ONTO it once and it snapped in half. Anyway, 35 years on, it is totally original, with circa 10k on it. It's hard to believe how vehicles end up being locked away for decades, but they do.
Rob & Chris, what a cracking idea for content, your channel goes from strength to strength. I wish I could have been there, even if it was just to soak up the atmosphere. For you guys a great day out and £2.5k into the business accounts, want could better that! Well done and must deserved.

It was a pleasure to meet you both at this auction (I’m the Indian guy who came to see you just after your MG sold). Had a really good day out looking at all of the cars and enjoyed watching them go through the auction. The auctioneer did do a great job at getting a good amount for your car. Definitely something you should do again on the channel 👍🏽

Great auction watched it live, the auctioneer was, as you said, pushing the cars which was good, sometimes they can be a bit flat, so the cars don't reach their potential. As forthcoming Barons Auctions will be at their new premises in Southampton, it would give you the opprtunity in the fiture to be in a different area too. Glad you reached a satifactory price, but shame you didn't buy the cars you two wanted. Some of these older low mileage cars are such a bargain. Thanks again for the great video and your time.
