Same bike, same noise! ARiemann was testing a brand new f900gs and mentioned that noise as well…mine has now 10K and goes to inspection next week. I’m afraid I already know the answer from bmw 😢
I must admit that when I watched your first 750 video the engine sounded very “tappety”. It sounds quite bad here. What is the cause? What have BMW said?
Just but one of them second hand (12k miles) and does that rattling noise. And does it even riding... Did you manage to find out what it is? BMW said is not to worry about?
sorry for late response...everybody including bmw service dealer said it is normal..this engines are quite noisy and rattly and all of them sounds like that

yes i am aware of cluch rattling when clutch is not engaged but this anoying rattle sound comes from engine head..around valves or camshaft chain...but motorbike is brand new...everybody tells me it is normal including bmw dealer..
i have also noticed the same.....when engine is cold it sound ok.....as soon as engine temperature rises to working temperature it ratlles like hell..like valves will pop out of the engine....i cant get use to it...and the bike is new... @@crist96

More likely chain tensioner or valve clearance ned to be ajusted

Is your low seat comfy? Or at least able to deal with it?
it has extra low set and surprisingly it is more comfy than it looks

If it's the "clutch side" of the engine, the noise sounds like the "rattling"of the clutch , of a main bearing, something like that...

Have the same noise with my f750 . I don't like it at all
