Before interviews, the host and the celebrity discuss what topics will be touched upon so they can somewhat outline the structure. They both knew what the subject would be, it's the way the host handled it that was strange

Some of the interviewers were straight up taking advantage of her kindness, innocence and nice personality back in the day, like the last interview was so disturbing, everyone has their own way of expressing emotions, Taylor is an emotional person in general that's why she gets more excited than a regular person. Also yes, even if you have 100 awards, you are not sure if you are going to get the next one, because it doesn't only depend on YOU. What is wrong with this people?

Younger her def still had her younger voice. Older her sounds different. I told my kid ts went through an emo scene phase. She doesn't really listen to alotta mainstream stuff tho. Korn was big for me growing up but I guess I never really listened to them alot around her, idek. Younger Taylor always looks like she hit some blunts tho. :/ But I'd forgive her for trying to find ways to cope if vultures came after me too. *well, she says she doesn't get into mainstream stuff but she'll still know most of the words. We were in a coffee shop yesterday, & all they played was some bribery and lots of Selena g. Songs. And other radio kid & family friendly stuff

what is the problem? it was an interesting question and there was an interesting response. What I would not like it the interviewer to only ask superficial questions.

It's crazy how literally everything she was afraid of became a reality in 2016. Looking back, you can truly see she had cared about those things from the beginning; not so much so because of the media, but because that's who she felt she was. Yes I am crying

Well that’s what happens when people and you yourself feel pressure to try to box yourself into this certain image. Because when you step out of it since you’re a human being or you want to move on from it people get upset and then stuff like all that drama happens. Because you don’t fit into what other people want to box you into.
It sucks. As a recovering "people pleaser," the feeling of wanting people to like you and see you as "the good girl" puts a lot of weight on you.

i listened to The Lucky One (I was doing a RED marathon because of its re-release date being announced today) today and I realized how sad it was... like if you pay attention to the lyrics it's basically- just here are some lyric examples

I love that song so much but it always makes me cry. The re-recording of it is going to completely destroy me because it will literally be her warning her younger self and I'm not ready for those emotions 😭

I don’t know if you ever saw, I think it was Ryan Tedder that said she knew the doom was coming, she was constantly anxious about it in her early twenties when the resistance started. The idea of everything about to fall apart and come crashing down. Not too long after - it did. If we take the Red era as her Joni Mitchell phase, as an artist, she knew her star was growing very quickly. The beauty of it was she knew, as a young woman in her early twenties, that she’d also choose the rose garden over Maddison square, or take her money and her dignity and get out. Which, she had to years later. It’s astonishing to see how poignant the song has become now, in hindsight. But even more so that she wrote this in 2012, when she was 22. That’s crazy. We know so many women, including Joni Mitchell that picked the quiet life out of the spotlight because of the scrutiny. Taylor being the people pleaser she was more of, as a young women, wouldn’t have been able to let go of the image then, now is able to. Truly shows how she went from sympathy to empathy. It must have been really emotional to re-record this one.
It's a great song about the music industry and how things works for famous people
Same it’s interesting the song never became a hit or a fan-favourite. It’s really honest and telling of her experience in business. When i listen to it i still feel jealous for that level of success like having it and getting over it seems better than never being in spotlight(in a good way)
How TS has remained so authentic and relatable through 2 decades of super stardom is a monumental credit to her humanity

2:24 is insane to me, picking apart someone's NIGHTMARES on LIVE TV and then laughing and smiling to the audience like it's completely polite and normal to do that.... if someone asked me to elaborate my anxiety PERIOD i would be uncomfortable. i am not sure how she handles it. I hate the fact that she was insinuating that Taylors reactions were calculated, and not genuine, and that's what bugs Taylor, and I feel sad thinking in the future she might suppress these kinds of reactions when they are adorable and very humble.
What is actually iffy is when celebrities show no grattitude nor surprise, they just kind of look as if they are entitled to the reward, and that they are bored at the events.
Altough most celebrities do come of as humble and grateful, so I don't think most of them are entitled.

From the time Katie Couric started at the Today Show she was promoted as 'America's Sweetheart' but there was always something off /phony/funky about her that just never sat right with me. Always trust your first instinct about someone, and never base it on what others think about someone... my intuition is usually right on target for skeezy opportunistic twits and narcissistic soul-sucking energy vampires.
Yes, BUT Taylor handled it with complete grace. Successful people, unfortunately, have people like KC coming at you. I wish I had Taylor's grace.

As someone who has Obsessive compulsive disorder and general anxiety I felt what she was feeling when these people asked about her anxiety.
I also get anxiety about not being in control (OCD does this.) and I also have a fear of losing my family and friends especially my Mum.
What is this with the media obsessing about Taylor anxieties and nightmare issues and "can you talk about them?" As a matter of entertainment for the collective instead of " hope you're doing well" and showing support and love and both ways it's a successful interview

Her dream about the washing the dirty clothes but they keep multiplying - oof the symbolism in that one. The clothes represent her fame, which she wears, but can never discard. It keeps getting bigger - crowds of people wanting to meet her, mobs of paparazzo following her and snapping photos. It never ends. She feels overwhelmed, like there is no end in sight, no pause button, no off switch.
I’m actually so inspired by how strong she is and hasn’t ever been problematic about shit. She’s so humble! It’s really nice to see.
Recurring nightmares are a sign of PTSD. I feel for anyone that experiences this, because it is awful.

So many inappropriate questions and bullying in these interviews it’s sickening to watch! 😢 She is a child and young adult here making her even more vulnerable. That blondie bringing up her facial expressions and nightmares and (the whole thing) is just woah! It would be fine if these two didn’t ever be get to interact with other people if that is how they treat people. Tay just don’t do interviews in regards to your personal life etc. You do not need to share that information with these vultures. No doubt your fanbase will know you for you regardless. ❤

The world desperately needs a role model like Taylor. As a senior, I see a moral decline in our society perpetuated by young "adults". Taylor is a breath of fresh air and a classy lady. The interview at 4:52 looks like it was around when her career was first beginning. To me, having the real jarring experience of a pregnancy rumor may fuel this recurring nightmare she has later in her career about being convicted of a crime she didn’t commit. It’s a fear of being misunderstood and (scarily) not having any control over what every judgment/verdict you receive

God the not eating hits too close. I literally went through my twenties not eating. I went on so many nice dates to amazing places with renowned food but I never ate. So strange but no one was ever concerned that I just sat there while others ordered especially not my dates. Go figure. I remember one time meeting my parents at a restaurant before I went out dancing, which I did 3 days a week, every week for hours and never left the dance floor and I dared to mindlessly pick up a tortilla chip lightly dip it in salsa and eat it, gasp! I immediately excused myself walked outside to the front of the restaurant I didn't even get to the back before I threw it up. I wasn't bulimic, hadn't done that before but the guilt and immediate regret of eating that chip before I went out that night was so anxiety inducing my body was ready to throw it up with even forcing it to. I will never forget that.
When I met my now husband who loves to eat and I stopped going out as much I immediately started gaining weight. I hated myself and when he made it ok for me to eat I ate too comfortably which wasn't extremely bad because I was underweight but it did become an issue and I was putting on weight. Then I found out I was pregnant and I had already put on more weight than I wanted and then my pregnancy had my weight go out of control. I weighed over 200 lbs when I gave birth to my daughter when I started at 120. After dating and eating a couple of meals everyday I got up to 150 over 2 years and then reached 200 when my daughter was born. I had a difficult pregnancy and wasn't able to work in my field anymore so that didn't help at all. After my daughter was born and my breast milk dried up after only 2 months my weight started to come off.
I was fitting into old clothes and then when my daughter turned about one I started getting weird symptoms and my whole life came to a stop. I developed several autoimmune diseases and the weight just came back on with a vengeance and I was powerless to stop it. I'm still married to that guy, it's been 15 years but after it all of him wanting me to eat, telling me it was ok, and swearing weight would never change anything between us. So after having his child, and it triggering my body to shut down he now won't even barely look at me. Says my illnesses are "a crutch and excuse" I lost everything in this relationship and now he will barely hang out in the same room as me.
He had gained a lot of weight too and then one day he started working out and spent all his time doing that and with my illness I can't get hot and the condition also makes me very weak so working out isn't really an option for me and he just started treating me like he's better than me and completely neglecting my feelings at all.
I feel uncomfortable anytime he's around and awful about myself but I had to give up my career, my whole life and I'm completely dependent on him so I have to take how I get treated and it's soul crushing.
Advice to any girls be healthy and eat. Don't be afraid to eat but take good care of your health one day it may not be an option to take proper care of yourself. Don't ever get in a situation where everything depends on someone else. Don't wait, and accomplish all your dreams and goals. Do everything you want to do, don't wait until the option is gone forever.
I don't think there are enough words to descrive how sorry I am that you had to go through all of that....nobody deserves to face that much pain AND have their other half be so insensitive to them. It may sound naive, but I don't believe you should give up on your happiness and be contempt with having to spend the rest of your life with that man. I know someone who went through a similar situation as yours, and although it took some time, she got out of her toxic marriage and found other ways to sustain herself and help her kid (even though she was also suffering from an ilness at the time). You never really know what life has in store for you, and there will always be a path open for you to take to reach your happiness. So don't give up, no matter how long it may take. After all we only have 1 life right? Might as well do whatever it's in our power to reach our happiness! And I believe you can too 😊

Rumors are like Paul Bunyan Tall tales that grow out of proportion. I also lived in Reading, PA where beloved gorgeous Taylor was born.
I am so glad Taylor has more support in her life than Karen Carpenter had. It was a remark about Karen's weight (someone called her chubby) that led to the spiral that ended in Karen's death from anorexia nervosa. People can be so cruel, sometimes literally lethally so. Karen, like Taylor, was a prodigious talent.
