the fact that this was when she was going through an ED an barely anyone noticed was crazy. she said that she worked out everyday , she had a vodka diet coke, immediately said if calories didn't matter shed have chicken tenders every day and that and that she recently baked a gluten free chocolate cake, her insecurities and her high waisted pants: they were all subtle hints.

And he said Taylor Swift is the best human for real; she is very loving and down to earth. He saw her interaction with staff when no one was around and he said she is as sweet behind the scenes as she is on screen

I'm watching this in 2020 after Miss Americana, where Taylor came out about her eating disorder. I'm getting really emotional because I'm seeing how thin she was and I know how unhappy she was. And when he asks about what her favorite food is and she says, "I mean if we're just saying like, what I wish I could eat everyday if calories didn't count, it's like chicken tenders", I got uncomfortable. He then proceeds to ask her around 4 questions about food, and I could imagine her discomfort. As someone who has struggled with an eating disorder for years, this is incredibly moving to me. Taylor is truly my hero. Her opening up about her disorder made me feel validated. So many people have never understood, and even though she and I will likely never converse, I feel as though I'm not alone.
Well written my co-fighter. I have the same problem. You're not alone definitely. Many successful people have had eating disorders as well as many other problems (like rare allergies) that affected their lives and careers and they've somehow managed to reach their goal. That makes us feel we're not alone and gives us hope that we'll get trough it like they did. The problem is that people around us don't understand. If you're different in any way people will stare like something's seriously wrong with you and I hate that. Not everybody can have perfect health, perfect life and career, perfect marriage, perfect day or year. We all sail on our own boats, someone's got silent waters while others got 80 ft waves.

I was crying watching this. I saw Miss Americana, and I’ve struggled with an eating disorder as well, and to know how badly she was struggling. She said her favorite food was chicken tenders if “calories didn’t count” and her favorite alcoholic beverage was a Diet Coke and vodka. I’m so glad that she is doing better, and I love her, her personality and kindness. She made me feel so much more empowered after watching miss Americana, what she went though. She was my childhood favorite and now I love her music and her.
