Hi John! It is highly dependent on the type of role we are talking out but broadly it’s useful to know a programming language (it doesn’t have to be objected oriented but Python is highly used).
Hey Arika, Glad I found your channel, I 'm looking to transition into the role of a data analyst. I learnt Excel, powerBI, mySQL, Python and libraries Like numpy, Pandas etc. However, I am not able to find any resources that gives a demo on how to use all the above technologies all put together to build a port folio. If you do have any, can you please recommend one for me. Regards, Sharun
Hi Sharun! SQL is a bit tougher to integrate but otherwise, I would really recommend that you check out Kaggle and find an interesting data set. Then, use Power BI to find interesting trends in the data set and build a dashboard. Use Python to model techniques to see if we can find statistically backed relationships. There is a titanic dataset that would be a great start (www.kaggle.com/c/titanic). I would also recommend you sharing your analysis/results on LinkedIn/Medium or /and adding it to your resume.
No matter where ever we go and how advanced society we live in we continue to display who we are.
Can you make a video on all the classes you took in your Master of Business Analytics program?
This is an amazing suggestion, thank you Jorge. I have added it to my list!
I made the video and gave you a shoutout, thank you for the idea!
does a data analyst use in ther daily basis Object Orientated programming?

From where u did your msba, how much does it cost?
I did mine at Duke University and attended the MQM:BA program. It ended up costing me about $55,000 out of pocket.
@@ArikaReddy are you doing some work after that ?
Yes, I work as an analytics consultant now!
