    I would love to see the response times with local dimming ON actually measured. Also the color deltas. Claimed factory calibration is one thing, real measurements are something else and I am saying this as an owner of the 27". Also I believe you didn't mention it can do MPRT, which reduces brightness in half but is not a big deal since it has extremely high brightness anyway. The MPRT setting randomly gets switched off in the OSD at least on my unit on the latest firmware. There is also a minor issue that if you change brightness, everytime you wake up the screen from standby, it will display the full brightness for like a second or two and only after that dim down. The VA panel is also surely not as fast or as greatly tuned as the ones on Samsung monitors and it does have a bit of black smearing, but I would say still better than most other VAs.

    2:56 Pixel refresher doesn't necessarily help it last longer or protect against burn-in. It just wears down the non worn down pixels more evenly with the worn down pixels.

      Because it is a legitimate hdr monitor with high refresh rate, and fast g2g response time.
      If you don't care about hdr, then you would be spending $200 more or so than you need to in order to get a nice monitor. if you do care about hdr, you're spending about half or less than you bormally would. It's honestly a very great value-IF you care about hdr.

    Can we get 4K OLED on something smaller than 42 inches? I have had a 4K IPS in 24" for years now, but I'm looking for something with HDR (at least 1000 nits) around the size of 27, maybe 32 inches. Don't want a TV set on my desk. And a upgrade from the 60Hz would be nice as well. Why not 1440p, you ask? I have OCD when it comes to seeing individual pixels. That's why I already have 4K on 24".

    I wish I could find a mini-LED ultra-wide monitor like the Samsung G9... just in a 34 inch package. Everyone is doing OLED and I don't want an OLED due to the sub pixel layout as well as burn in issues. Mini-LED is barely a compromise, with no burn in and a normal sub pixel layout.

    I’m looking for a triple monitor setup for Microsoft flight simm, what do you people think about this ?

    • @partytranimal6293
      @partytranimal6293 5 місяців тому

      If you're talking about the KTC monitor then I think it's a decent pick simply for the brightness. I don't think flight sim would really benefit from local dimming given most of your flight time will be during the day, but anything besides edge lit would be great. You also don't really need to worry about lightning fast response time given most planes already feel a bit sluggish. Your biggest bottleneck will be your PC. Triple 1440p isn't the easiest for most computers to handle. A stable 60 is your best minimum target in the event of any frame drops. It's more CPU bound than GPU so if you're lacking on upgrading an older or weaker CPU in favor of a Newer GPU, I'd strongly advise investing in stronger brains over stronger brawn. Finally, I'd suggest 32gb of RAM over 16 because 16 is becoming the new industry minimum. Depending on the age of your motherboard, I'd recommend picking up a 4×8 kit of DDR4 at 3600 speed or a 2×16 kit of DDR5 at 5600 speed. Happy flying, captain

      I've been eyeing the M27T20 (looking for a "modestly" priced HDR monitor with no burn-in concerns), and a firmware update from the spring fixes that VRR issue. However, there are still inconsistent complaints and praise with this and other 27" mini-LED panels, so I may wait until refreshed models come out next year before I pick anything up.

Some of the most beautiful and vibrant displays @1440p I’ve ever seen with that local dimming. At only 500 bucks this thing is an absolute steal! What in the affiliate marketing is this nonsense? Videos like this take a lot of credibility away from you and you should be disappointed.
    Why would anyone who games get this over a C2 oLED? What is budget about a $1,200 4k 120hz monitor?
    There are other comparable 43-in monitors for less money If you don't want a oled as well. Lets not even get into HDR performance. This doesn't even have local dimming for over $1000 lol. It's a terrible value.

    Owner of a M27T20, im baffled this monitor is sponsored everywhere with glowing reviews
    Mine is buggy AF, so much i have to make a list of the problems i have
    -Vrr not working correctly at all, hdmi, displayport, hdr sdr. Monitor is smooth at 72fps or 144fps. Anything else is awful.
    -Gamma is wrong is sdr and hdr, content have too much contrast and crushed blacks. You can fix it in sdr with calibration but not in hdr.
    -Displayport is bugged and the monitor is reported as hdr400, the image is mess. Wrong gamma, wrong brightness, wrong colors.
    -Factory calibration is a joke, minor issue in sdr IF you own a calibration device. Huge one in hdr as you cant fully calibrate and every option in the menu is locked
    -Eu firmware has very visible color banding in hdmi. Dp is 10bit but bugged.
    -Tech support is next to non existant. IF you have problems like me you are on your own.

      same problems here, have you tried to switch to the us firmware?

    • @MatteoCristo
      @MatteoCristo 8 місяців тому

      @@emanuelcodarcea5937 yes US firmware has the same issues but colors are normal and there is no color banding. Vrr still broken, HDR still broken, gamma still broken. After a lot of emails they are finally kinda trying to fix it. Write to EU support, they know the firmware is an absolute mess but they dont care enough

    LG C2 its a lot better and cheaper .KTC most have paid a really good amount of USD for you to give this out of world review-"Affordable my A**S!

      jajaja better? this monitor uses the same panel as LG but without the drawbacks of their TVs, people usually misunderstand a TV with a monitor, they are not the same and do not work the same, you just have to see on UA-cam the people who use the C2 as a monitor and the problems it has for being a TV and not a monitor.
