    These are the most beautiful countertops! I love this color combo and pattern so much. Come do my counters pleaseeeeeeeeeee! I was going to do them myself, but had to have emergency spine surgery in October. It has set me back of course.

    Would you please do a Stone Kit # 17 in a gloss finish? Maybe with some of the diamonds in the spray to make the cells before the denatured alcohol to remove the bubbles? Thanks! That's the one I am considering for a new home build in the kitchen

    I’ve watched other epoxy countertop videos and they all used a torch or heat gun to get the bubbles out. I noticed that you guys didn’t do that in the video. Did you do that off-camera, or was it not necessary with the product that you used?

    There’s no need to sand/scuff the surface? Also, is countertop epoxy different from floor epoxy?

    So how come everything you do has a nice flat 90 degree edge? What about some laminates that have the raised rounded edge? I'm assuming that has to be done by hand spreading?? Getting ready to do mine and your videos do help except for what I need.

      I have never done this type of job before, but from watching other videos, it seems that you can’t really do it on a raised-edge counter. One video even said to sand the “hump” down to level.

    how would you get this design on to a 6 inch back splash ? im getting ready to do my counter tops and love this design but now worried about the back splash how will i pull that off

    • @LeggariProducts
      @LeggariProducts  3 місяці тому

      There are a few different ways to do backsplash. Although it is possible, we don't recommend coating the backsplash while it is still on the wall. The design simply won't turn out great as good as it can be. It's best to remove the backsplash if possible then coat it horizontally and re-install it. Or, remove and install or more traditional one. Or coat right up to the backsplash, taping 1/8th inch up the backsplash. Lots of options!

    Badass!!! What does spraying the different types of alcohol on it do?

    • @LeggariProducts
      @LeggariProducts  2 роки тому +1

      Isopropyl alcohol 91% or higher is used for the dispersing effect to give you the cells and craters and then you finish with denatured alcohol to pop any bubbles!

    Are these heat proof?

    • @evilblackcat6357
      @evilblackcat6357 2 роки тому

      The layer itself is probably as heat resistant as the original surface. I've used epoxy on several well-used surfaces and they've lasted for years now with minimal scratches or damage. I didn't even use Leggari which appears to be a higher quality product.

    How do you deal with bubbles?

    • @LeggariProducts
      @LeggariProducts  2 роки тому

      The dispersing effect is achieved by spraying small to medium drops of 91% isopropyl alcohol, then finish with a fine mist of denatured alcohol (fuel) to pop any bubbles and allows the epoxy to lay out glass smooth!
