My favorite time to be in Thailand is low season! What I liked about being there is that all the people are so nice, customer service is exemplary and every day is a new learning experience.

Chuck and Page, Thank you for the opportunity to escape the reality of the nightmare in the United states. Stay strong in the face of your distractors, Understanding people are angry and afraid. In the meantime, I plan to travel to Koh Chang from Jomtien this month so I am gathering Ideas.
You lucky guys, staying at the KC Grand Resort in Koh Chang, and for two weeks! We stayed there in March 2015, for 5 days. In the main hotel, 3rd floor and over looking the gardens, such beautiful place. Fantastic breakfast every morning, sitting on the tables by the hedge of the sea, and every evenings having diner on the White Sand Beach. Such a good memories of this beautiful place, do enjoy your vacancy. Also, i don't know at this present time, but the street market on the road nearby the hotel, in the evening, was a very relaxing walk before retiring in our room.
Great Video. Paige and you are practically on a deserted island. That hotel you’re in is gorgeous. 1300 per night. In season I bet it’s 3500 a night

Never seen Koh Chang this quiet even in low season , my favorite island in Thailand , ...paradise to yourselves , I could deal with that ...Lonely beach area must be deserted , ..have a great time ..

Welcome to Koh Chang my wife and I been going there since 2006 when we purchased a plot and a villa on the island. Took 4 years to completion but in 2011 it was completed. We were planning to be on the island in April but due to covid we are stuck here at our home in Southern California. KC Grande was the first resort we stayed at back in 2006, it costed us 2700 THB for a Villa right on the beach.
So jealous right now I could be content at that rooftop or beach pool for days. Great looking location. Enjoy!

Life is really good. This is one of the best. Since you will there for 2 weeks, Moving maybe is part of the fun. Good thing about this kind of moving you don't need to rent a truck. Enjoy your holiday (maybe this is regular for you). CHEER ! 🍻

I've been KC resort and kochang many times I remember about 19 years ago KC resort was just bamboo huts between palm trees on beach thanks for the memories have fun

Great Island, stayed there about 5 years ago, although I've been to many places around Thailand I have always want to return to Kho Chang again one day. Until I can thank's for the video's and the road trips.

Make the most of a once in a lifetime opportunity to get quality hotels at bargain-basement prices. I was there in Koh Chang in March just prior to lockdown and it was quiet, but your video takes quiet to a whole new level.

We typically do not stay in these places they are very beautiful. For some reason I don't like the crowd and I feel like I've wasted my money instead of just hanging out and enjoying the sites. Just needs to be clean, and safe. Preferably quiet but that's almost impossible here.

I am so jealous right now , Koh Chang is my favourite Island in Thailand , I find the European tourists that seem to like it there as well a little annoying but still a great place . I think it would be a little weird to be there with no tourists though, Looking forward to the next two weeks ! Cheers from Canada !
That is usually the reason why we come during the offseason. I get annoyed Woody excess complaining in the background. I'm like a magnet the negativity it seems sometimes. Right now it is amazingly peaceful I would be lying if I said I wish it never changed.

If you ever get tired of going down water slides then you must be tired of life. Great looking resort.
I stayed 1 week in July, 2020 in Filou villas in Kaibae Beach, 80 square meters. A pool in 10 meters from front door. Enough stores and restaurants. The Morgan Restaurant has burgers, European food, Thai food. There is 7-11, and Tesco Lotus express.
Thanks for bring us back to Koh Chang. My number one island in Thailand. Nice to see White Sand Beach again, but also scary empty. Me and my wife to be, meet each other at Oodie’s Place, just about 150m from 7/11 and across the road. Normally a nice place with nice food and great live music
We also love to stay at KaiBae Beach. We think KaiBae have more nice small restaurants and more intim atmosphere. But always love White Sand

Thanks you for the videos. I truly miss Thailand. My wife and I usually go every other year and Koh Chang is always a spot we go. We have to have been there at least 6 or seven times. I drive from the ferry to the main strip on White Sand beach is always exciting. Head down that strip and they have some great gai yang and sum tom. Ho up the hill and watch some soccer at the white elephant. Always a great time.
Hey chuck hope you both well,it’s looks like you have got the best time to stay in nice hotels as because of this terrible time with coved no one can travel to Thailand.That place your staying in would be a few thousand Baht a night but looks like you have a good deal at this time.It looks lovely and I would be very happy to be back there at this time when it’s not so busy,be nice to have a few people round of course.Check out 15 Palms right on the beach next to your hotel,great relaxing night there and good priced food.Well me and my partner were hope to get married on Ko Chang in feb but because of Clovis we have had to cancel it for the following year.We just hope we can still get there in Feb for a holiday.I would recommend driving to The Souk which is the other side of the island,great place for food and Eddie who runs it is a great chef and host as well as a good friend,this is where our wedding will take place.Keep up the great videos mate nice to see them as that’s all we have at the mo.

WOW loved the video. Breaks my heart to see that resort nearly empty. So many Thai's out of work. Well, hopefully soon things will at least get back to 50%. Selfishly tho, wish I was there to take advantage like you guys. Only thing I saw that seemed overpriced was the drinks poolside, 250b? Hope they offer 2 for 1. Cheers. LOVING THE ISLAND.
Here on the weekends between Monday and Friday most of the resorts all around Thailand are booked up solid. As I shown in my videos, and will show you in the the videos to come. They don't come during the week because I have to work. Many people are out of work but the majority are not. And the ones that aren't working in the tourist industry are doing other things. if they're not doing other things then they will have no income and yes they will suffer those are the ones you'll see on the news. I have many Thai friends in the tourist industry to Phuket and they are suffering the worst because they have bills to pay and can't pay them Thailand is much more then just those areas. But the tourism industry will slowly trickle into the entire economy. Things will change very soon we all have that feeling here living in Thailand

I would say almost everynight Before I sleep I have an alcoholic beverage. But I don't take sleeping pills or medication. I do have a couple cups of coffee everyday and I do like to eat in really hot spicy chili peppers so I guess we can add a few things to my Indulgence.

Just watching guys, stunning stunning location, awsome room for the price and the resort you have pretty much to yourself, enjoy your stay, we are planning to head to Khao Lak (50 mins away from us) for lisa's birthday at the end of the month, for a couple of day, and as you say there are some Fantastic deals to be had at the moment, enjoy your time away and stay safe, LISA WANTS A COCONUT SNICKER BAR, how good is that, looks like im heading out to find one, again have a fantastic time
