Time to re-watch some of your previous content again. Flights booked for May ✔️. Need to figure out which different I'm heading when I land at BKK. BTW, the videos are not boring/too much info, the flow is good. Your attention to detail is great. Just the RIGHT amount of info for all who needs 👍.
Your content is never boring, Was on Koh Chang when the first reoprts of Covid came out of China and when I got back to the mainland every one was wearing masks. I have pleanty of other places in Thailand to cross of my to visit list but I do plan to get back to Koh Chang at some point.
It tickles me when you question the length of your videos😄 in all honesty the vibe and content makes your videos fly by. You’ve changed my feelings about visiting Thailand 👏🏻👍✌️🤙🙏🍻
So nice to see you made it to my favourite place in Thailand. I had been going to Koh Chang every year since 2005 bar the past 2 Covid years so it's wonderful to see your video's on how it's all doing. It's never too long your videos it's the week wait that's the hardest 😁 Thanks for your videos and looking forward to Kai Bae and Lonely.
Thank you for the kind comment Darren. You've been going every year since 2005, wow! My 1st visit but I now see the attraction to Koh Chang. Cheers! STL
To answer your question, yes still watching, not boring. I especially like the little gems. Simple beauty of a sunset, a chair and a table have always been my cup of tea. I loved your Lake Toba vids. It was stunning beauty and I'm sure the camera doesn't do it justice. I'm a few years from retiring and so many channels concentrate on living in one place. I want a nice base camp, but I want to take these little trips to these gems, these beautiful places. You are doing good things my friend.
Hallo ! And thanks 👍 for beautiful memories ! Was that White sand beach ⛱️ two times - November 2018 and 2019 , remember all at beach area ! So miss for this amazing view, and arrived soon ! 27.02.23 ! Forward see Koh Chang
I intend to spend next winter in Thailand. Your videos help guide me to areas I would want to see and hide from another Canadian winter. You have lots of info and suggestions on how to adapt to a more relaxed lifestyle. Good work
Don't spend to much time in main cities, get out to real Thailand, but be warned this is not always the land of smiles. Be very street wise. I lived there in ubon , but loved moving around, scooter is your best choice but if you can budget for a car do it.
First time we visited KC stayed at Thors Palace in White sands…..now sadly gone…..I’ve travelled the world for 45 years and the view there was SIMPLY THE BEST I’ve ever experienced in my life!!…..period…..(it was opposite a well known Irish/pub/ hotel at the south end ….painted all green).
great presentation. All information I wanted and super views of the setting. sold on koh chang if they are open in November. Stuck in Canada's endless winter for 2 years.
We are loving your videos, I think they are one of the best out there. You take time showing places where we would not go to. I discounted Koh Chang due to the mountains in the middle as views are restricted. Also I wasn't keen on Hua Hin.... But you justify making trips there. The length of the videos is spot on, they can be longer and we love your style so no issues at all. Thanks for what you are doing.
Ive been to KC ten times and only ever visited whitesands beach one time. It is a necessary tourist trap that helps to keep the rest of the island nicer.
Wow would love to spend time here in sooo many places. Your never boring. Love the places you choose. Think I'm planning my next trip to samui and koh Chang based on places you have shown me. I used to go to bang rak and big Buddha and love watching that video. The cafe at big Buddha they used to have pics of myself and children. Can't wait to go back again. Beautiful view. Mama chai's looked lovely too
Loved this video. What a gorgeous place. All those lovely bars and restaurants on the beach. And amazing fire show. Loved the ramshackle hotels!! Cathy and Kevs x
Thanks for the trip brother, the video was perfect, love all your videos. Thanks fir always taking us with you and all the info is great. God bless you. Enjoy 🍻
Thanks for your video I stopped on white sand beach in 95 but there was no electricity then in the huts but we were paying 25 baht a night..Great to see it although it’s changed so much, I hope to come back and visit the place looks just beautiful what a country ❤
Fantastic vlog especially the north side where Pens & Starbeach bungalows we’re. I have been to shite sand’s many times & never knew they existed I will be going there when I get back in August. You are a hive of information thanks for your efforts 👍👍👍
After living there for 12 years Beach Tango cafe is the best on the island friendly staff and great food. Don and Air are the owners always accommodating for their customers
Agreed Farshid, Beach Tango is tops, as are the wonderful folks who run it, plus fantastic food and grog all at reasonable prices. Easily my fav beach bar, maybe anywhere!
Was there 2weeks ago. Got to try White Elephant for breakie and absolute must is El Barrio mexican. Rent a bike and do east side road. BangBao Beach Resort and Mr A's resto next door.at end of the road on the south end are your kinda spots. That worst road is that 1st stretch after the ferry. South end not as bad.
I think you're spot on about my kinda spots. El Barrio has been vlogged more than Mark Wiens restaurant (lol;) but will pop by and also look at others in Kai Bae. Cheers, STL

It is a lot of content, but helpful as I didn't see the NW part of the island last time I was there. I understand that it attracts more Thai's to this area, the main tourism areas are futher south on the island. Cheers!
Who needs a pool w the sea outside your window? Old room, new room? I see absolutely no flaw in the 'old' room. Nice woman giving you a ride. No surprise there. Ppl r outstanding!

Overall, Koh Chang feels more laid back and less developed than Samui. Also no big shopping mall like on Samui (but Makro, Big C, Lotus all here). If one has time I would say try to visit both.
Nice video, you are covering KC well, good job.
Thanks, esp coming from a local insider and youtuber. My 1st visit to KC and love it. STL
@@SideTripLife thanks and yes, I remember the first time I came to KC and even though I have lived in Thailand for the past 25 yrs, and visited almost everywhere in Thailand I still find KC to be my favorite.
It is a lot of content, but helpful as I didn't see the NW part of the island last time I was there. I understand that it attracts more Thai's to this area, the main tourism areas are futher south on the island. Cheers!
Love your videos, it doesn't matter they are a bit long, it's like being back in Thailand 🇹🇭
Thanks Benjamin much appreciated :)

Plenty of places to see and do by the looks - appreciate the detail , as mentioned, feels like we are there 👌 echo beach far away in time 😄🍻👍🙏👊

It's so great to see tourism picking up again, and the land border at Poipet is opening on 1 May! Thanks for this video :)
Woohoo!!! Poipet opening again, great news! Will pop over to your xclnt channel @For Riel for latest Cambodia updates. Cheers, STL
Who needs a pool w the sea outside your window? Old room, new room? I see absolutely no flaw in the 'old' room. Nice woman giving you a ride. No surprise there. Ppl r outstanding!
