thank you for the tip Lloyd. Being a little surf rat in South Florida where I was born rode mini a Riptide myself actually did it for fun when we were kids. Also many Riptides living in Hawaii for 4 years. Can be very dangerous if one panics. Yes many young people have definitely gone back to isaan. Things will be back to normal eventually.
Amazing love a stormy day in ko Chang once I stayed in white sand beach resort that’s one of the first resorts on white sand beach very far right from Kc resort the storm was so bad in the morning couldn’t even come out of the room for about 30 min the clouds where swirling lightning also scary but an amazing experience really enjoying your vlogs on ko Chang also all your other Vlogs thanks Guys keep the Good work up 👍
I stayed at the KC grande in March 2019. Wasn't too busy then either, but cost way more than 45 bucks a night for the non-beach front bungalow. Just looked up in my email the reservation I had for the bungalow here in March 2019. $465 for 3 nights.
She does an amazing unbelievable amount of time researching these trips. Very thankful to have her. Many Thai women do not travel much in Thailand and don't seem to have the experience to do the research. Not all but a lot of my subscribers same to tell me that haha
Like your new room looks awesome and an awesome price too. The waves reminded me of Nova Scotia in the fall on a windy day. I love being by the ocean cause it is never the same 2 days in a row.

It looks nice and calm without a lot of tourists. I love iit after it rained in Thailand, everythings looks, feels and smells so fresh! Wish I could be there but the 14 days quarantine is just not worth it for me write now. Hopefully that will go away end of this year or early next year. Fingers crossed!!!

You still run into to them at the buffets while dinning though. It would be so bad if parents would correct their children or teach them some manners. If they aren't screaming all the time and running around like it's play ground, the very little one's are constantly crying. Anyway, I'm upset that we can't take advantage of these very good deals and discounts. Once we retire there in 8 months or less. I'm sure everything will be back to normal...hopefully.

Just can’t remember the name of place we stayed I think Mercure not the one you went to , about 5 years ago it was beautiful with private beach , it was near a cafe owned by an Aussie called Turtle something sorry my memory of that week is a little hazy but still a favourite place in Thailand . Chuck every time i am in Thailand that is my only issue with breakfast is that the bacon is very undercooked but i have found all good hotels will make it for you crispy if you ask... L.A Rob
OK Chuck, if you know, fill me in on the hot dogs in restaurants in Thailand for breakfast..... It didn't matter where I was.... Pattaya, Bangkok,Khon Kaen, Udon Thani, Issan....every restaurant had HOT DOGS for breakfast? What the heck started that????!!!!
Westerners, also the baked beans. It's not really a staple in the US, just breakfast pork sausage links or patties, along with bacon or country ham (salty as hell).
I guess the staff at the Hotel is really small because the town is empty and your room was still not ready. Probably just a couple of housekeepers working.
Even the rain is lovely as long as you are on the upper side of the sod 😃

It's not only that, it still the low (slow) or rainy season. The rates will probably go up a little in November I would guess.
