You like satisfaction!! It’s satisfying to see that many parts working like that;) share the video! I plan on making many more and will continue to make them better!
Great sawing. We have a 3rd blade on our vertical. It’s attached to the second one and is s fixed at 4 1/4 inches. But it can be moved to any measurement .. could be somthing for you to look into
@@Helmsburgsawmill it’s nice cuz that way there a little less waste if you miss edging a bit you will still get a board already edged out The arms are connected by a threaded rod so it’s adjustable. I will post a small video
That piece of oak was definitely no joke and was one unhappy participant in this story, still it yielded some nice looking boards. I hope that your collective families are healthy, happy. and doing well. Say hello to your grandpa for me.
It was a 30 incher! I can go 28’8” in length. And i can handle a log roughly 44” in diameter one way, and 48” the other. 44” the one way, because the distance between the log deck rails and the steal I beam is 44” inches. The carriage can handle 48” in width. However I’m not going to put a log on that’s 28 ft long and 43” around😂 The weight would surely break things haha
So the top and bottom saws lean inversely in the log during the cut. The goal is to have the feed rate correct, so they line up at the same time… during the whole cut:)

great videos
Really nice sawing, very enjoyable, thanks!
I actually find all of the sawing vids quite satisfying 😃
I've never seen 4 blades before!!👍👍😊
The best sawmill with modern technology
Amazing machine 👍🏼
I don't know why I like watching this.

Or if you had a 16 1/2 inch face and were cutting 2x4s. You can get 4 with on pass. I really enjoy the videos even tho I saw all day long
Very nice timber, I would not mind some of those offcuts 👍👍
Once you get the shell off the log then you get into good board material. Beautiful oak boards you sawing.

I sure will!
Amazing how you can cut so efficiently.
It takes a lot of calibration and time off screen🥵
👍
Damn, that's bad ass !!!
It sure is!! Thank you for your enthusiasm😂 share my videos around sir
nice sawing sweet woog ty
This is a money maker YA’LL🤪🇨🇱
Bummer on the first log. You squeezed some nice looking lumber out of the smaller ones though.
Great video today, really enjoyed the cutting of the big oak, if I recall, you said it was a 32" log, what is the biggest log your mill can cut?

Okay, how does the double blade mad a uniform cut. Teeth on opposite sides?

Who is the daredevil who leans over to take the shots above the belts, etc? He should be sure to keep his shirt tucked in.....
Is the saw fully automated or are cuts worked out by human
@@jcb208 it’s all going on in my head!
Good explanation of todays cut. You used the word "cant", what's a cant?
It’s considered a junk wood of any hardwood species, that will be later ripped down into pallet material
@@Helmsburgsawmill Thanks
I'd get the belt guards on the V-Belts, it's a safety issue.
Why do you cut the waste in two? Aren't you just dulling a saw for no reason?
It helps the grinder chew through the easier if I split them. That grinder was installed 20 years ago😂
Ok ok let’s see the finished product 🙄
Check out video 75
best watched on mute so you don't have to listen to him talk
I talk for like 2 minutes in the video
