My too go shelf tequila is El Tequileno Gran Reserve Reposado. Man it is good, it is 15% Anjeo and of course additive free. El Tesoro Blanco is fire, my to go blanco at the moment, but haven’t tried too many blanco!

Before I forget, I personally watch you guys more for Tequila but I watch all your vids regardless. I know I am still a beginner because I just tried that exact bottle you did on this vid & honestly was slapped across the nose & taste with strong Agave notes & not much more. I hope with time & your guys reviews, I can learn more & possibly grow beyond just the Tequila realm. Like always, thank you guys por todo! Be safe
Yeah with this one the agave smell was pretty strong, but the strongest agave smell I've ever smelled was Tapatio and this bottle is from the same distillery. Try keeping it in your mouth for a few seconds and see if you can find some notes.

At this moment El Tesoro is my top pick, it's so well blended, Nothing stands way out front, Extremely easy to sip, I haven't found fortaleza anejo yet, I'm looking all over for it, Do you honestly think Fortaleza is better than El Tesoro?
They’re pretty damn close. Im not sure if it’s better.
Just discovered this House/Distiller and lost my mind! This one Anjeo & reposado are now in my top 5 favorite tequilas!!!!!!

How does El Tesoro Anjeo compare to El Tequileno Anjeo?
I have not tried either, but thinking of picking up El Tequileno Anjeo and El Tesoro Extra Anejo.
Thank you! We haven’t tried Tequileno Anejo, but Tequileno reposado Gran Reserva was definitely one of our most favorite tequilas. Highly recommend that one.
@@spiritscollective Same here one of my favs always on my shelf. I just picked up another bottle of it and the Plantium blanco and Anejo. I got all three now of El Tequileno. Will try El Tesoro Anjeo some other time
El tesoro de Don Felipe is one of my top 5 tequilas. Very good video homies.
I know it was going to be good but it still surprised me. So far this is also in our top 3 I think. Cheers!

@@peterthorley4483 it’s a really good tequila. I think it would make some great margaritas and it would be really good neat as well. If you’re strictly only using it for shots it’ll be really smooth and it should make an easy shot. I wouldn’t get it just for shots though just because it’s a pretty damn good tequila.

Did it taste like a blanco ?? I had the Tesoro añejo and it tasted more like a blanco to me …. The
Tesoro extra añejo on the other hand I loved … have you guys tried it !? Do a video on that one .
I don’t remember it tasting too much like a blanco, but we will eventually try all the expressions!
Sorry for a dumb question. I’m a newbie to the tequila world and never had the cooked agave, so I don’t know what it smells like. Does it smell like the agave nectar syrup? The only two tequila that I have ever tried were Fortaleza Reposado and San Matias Tahona Añejo. On the nose, I can only detect alcohol and sweet. The sweet makes me think of caramel or butterscotch. I wonder if the sweet was the cooked agave that I smell.
We are talking a more so about the vibe that the agave aroma gives. We aren’t saying that it’s definitively cooked or not cooked. All agave is cooked in tequila. Cheers!
