Cloth Diapering with The AKINS | Flour-sack Towels | Hard Water

In this video we take you through what we do to wash, fold, and store our cloth diapers. This is more of an instructional video, but we hope to inspire others to do this. It's not difficult to do, and you will be saving some money doing so.

I'm not going to say its easy, but it helps out the kiddo in many ways. Tag teaming the laundry is good to keep things enjoyable for the both of us.

Super helpful video, thank you! Do you have a preference between the bamboo inserts and the flour sack towels, or do they do different jobs (e.g daytime vs overnight)?

Both flour sack and bamboo are good at absorbing, the flour sack towels just require more work. To be honest for overnight we use disposables. We have tried to make a clothe diapers to withstand a full nights sleep but the diaper is just too big. We tried 2-3 layers for overnight and it just didn’t workout.
