Thank you so much! I'll be cloth diapering my newborn when he comes in December. I just bought some flour sack towels today from Walmart and will be buying more!! You really cant beat the price! I can have 30 fst for cheaper than a dozen flats from green mountain diapers. I am sold!
They really are my go to choice for flat style diapers. Have you seen the wash cloths that are the same brand as the Walmart fst? They're all different colors, soft like baby wash cloths, and they're bigger so one and done..
@@kkelley1289 no I haven’t seen them but I will get some. Want to do reusable wipes as well so I can use those🙂 Do you use prefold diapers any? Wondering if I should get some..
Cutting flour sack towels for newborns is an incredible solution!!! Why didn't I think of doing that with them! I can buy a 10-pack and end up with 20 newborn sized diapers!!! Nice!
That is a seriously awesome idea! I have been cloth diapering 2 babies for almost 4 years. Never thought about doing that. Game changer 😜for newborns! My first is almost potty trained except for at night and super long car trips. My second is almost 2 and is already showing interest. Hoping to have a 3rd soon. Another option for those that aren't really into cloth diapering which I am. I am actually starting to teach classes in my area. But for those that aren't can make fleece covers out of a blanket and use tshirts as another backup option in an emergency. 😊
Alex Chesnut they are great for newborns. this video shows how to use half of a flour sack towels for a newborn. and there is a picture of my Newborn in one with a cover. they are by far my slimmest diapers.
I used them on my toddler while potty training. You will just need to add a little more layers because they pee more when they're older. I pad folded another fst into the full size ones for bigger babies
me too. this baby was my tiniest, but my other kids were under 7 lbs. I found a lot of videos on cloth diapers but none on tiny ones. I had to figure this out myself
Thank you SO much for making this video. Its SO helpful to me. First time mom due in August and i am ordering FST now!!
One of the best cloth diaper videos I’ve found yet. THANK YOU!
Thank you!

I don't really like them but I know a lot of people who do.

This is such a nice clear explanation. Thank you!
Thank you so much!!!! I am cloth diapering my grandson, who was 5.3 at birth and the preemie info was so helpful!!
Very helpful!
Those diapers are so cute!
Dirtpatcheaven thanks. I love them. this brand of covers is my favorite.
i realize it's kind of off topic but do anybody know of a good place to stream new series online ?
@Brian Reginald Flixportal :D
@Khalil Diego thanks, signed up and it seems to work :D Appreciate it!
@Brian Reginald glad I could help =)
Thank you for making this video, it’s really helping me out big time!
What are the dimensions of the preemie flour sack towel that you cut?
I didn't measure. I just cut a full size fst in quarters or cut it in half and folded it to a square
Great idea. I have tiy babies but they grow super fast so I wouldn't want to spend too much on a newborn stash
Yesenia Contreras the good part about the cut fst is that you can use them as boosters in your bigger diapers when baby outgrows the nb
Would Flour Sack Towels work well on newborns or would they be too big/bulky?

Thank you, What size in inches would you say work best? I have seen them from 20x20 inches to 30x30 inches
Sorry for all the questions. I am jut beginning to look into cloth diapering.
i just bought the ones at walmart in the kitchen department. I dont remember how big they are for sure.
Till what age did flour sack work well?
I used them on my toddler while potty training. You will just need to add a little more layers because they pee more when they're older. I pad folded another fst into the full size ones for bigger babies
@@kkelley1289 Nice idea! What was your overnight solution?
When my babies were tiny pretty much anything worked. I did use grovia ONE for night once they were bigger.
The flour sack towels are also thinner
I found some diaper covers for $5.00 each I put 24.00$ in my cart and I'm not pregnant yet!
when you get your house?!🤔😱
I have tiny girls..
fst still fit on my girls under 5 lbs
