  • For generations, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class has truly embodied what it means to be a brand flagship; not only ushering in new technology and styling that quickly trickle down to the rest of their lineup, but setting a new benchmark for the luxury sedan segment itself. Now with SUVs now being the real attention getters, let’s find out if the s-class’ mission has changed.

I think it's impressive especially for the V6 and such a heavy car S class is so nice. We don't really need electric cows and other pasture animals are actually doing more damage with their gases than a lot of these engines are these engines are running cleaner than ever I'll keep the sound of the V6 over some electric appliance

I haven't seen rear steering like that since the GMC Sierra Denali back in 2002. Surprised not many car manufactures have this technology in their full size sedan line up.

Hate to say it but I agree with you. We bought a 2020 loaded Subaru Outback in fall of ‘19 and that was the first year they put in a HUGE touch screen right in the middle of the dash between the driver & passenger and we HATED it. You HAD TO take your eyes off the road to use it and it seemed like so many of the functions took two buttons to complete and there were no tactile button back-ups. The standard 4 cylinder CVT was loud and ssssslooooow and the voice recognition was utterly worthless. Got rid of it in Nov. of last year and replaced it with a top-of-the-line Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy model (one step below a Genesis) and we truly love it. Turbo 4 cylinder, no ridiculous giant touch screen and so much better in so many ways.

Most of these will probably be leased by people who have money to burn. After several years when the warranty runs out these will depreciate like a rock. I'm guessing this vehicle has over 75 computers on it, which are great when they all work in concert together. However, when the inevitable repairs are required be prepared to warm up your checkbook. Even small repairs will require sophisticated diagnostic equipment, specialized Benz technicians, and recalibrating of complex systems. No thanks!

Did the vid address the back seat? Did I miss it? For this car, that’s what it’s all about. You want to be a passenger, not the driver

I’d much rather be driving this S Class than the mainstream low quality Tesla Model S. Heck, why would anyone can afford $100k for an automobile and worrying about buying gasoline?

Yeah, or a Etron GT. The Etron GT has top quality fit and finish, while Tesla has the fit and finish of a Lada...

The germans hide their car sizes very well through careful styling.

Im 39 Years old and i drove BMW,s since i got my driver license at 18 Years old , it’s Standard in Europe , and i bought my Second Mercedes Benz ! , my First Mercedes was a CLK 230 Kompressor in the year 2003, and my Second what i bought now is a 2015 W212 E350 cgi 4matic , and it’s a whole different Car ! It’s Not to compare with the 5 series from BMW , a BENZ is a Benz !! The Mercedes got a completely Different Style to Drive and got a higher class ! BMW is also a good Car , but when you compare the F10 5 Series with the W212 E class ! The 5 series is a Joke ! Not the E60 it was a Great Car ! I got a 530d E60 very good Car ! But i want a Mercedes and make my wish come true ! I love it ! Black Black with AMG exteriour and Interieurs wonderful Car ! STROKER V6 306 HP 4-Matic ,

if it were the best automobile in the world it would brake at 90 to 100 feet like Audi's rather than 134 feet, that's not very confident braking results for a luxury car costing 110 +
