    Love my Godox Retro's. Perfect for journalistic style.

    Looks great, however I don't use flash all that often and will remain with the capable Godox purchased on Rob's recommendation.

    Looks interesting, from the link it looks like the battery is built in, is that the case.
    For the price a replaceable battery would be nice

      Yes, the battery is built in. It's rated for 460 full power shots. It can be charged while using it through the USB port. I'm not sure how practical that is unless you're using it on a light stand.

    May the force flash be with you! Looks like they took inspiration from Star Wars

      @@WhoIsSerafin The light sabers in Star Wars were made from Graflex 4x5 camera flash bulb guns used up until the 1960s.

    Hi Rob, great video! Wondering if you've had a chance to use the X1 trigger to fire it? I've got the x2t triggers, but the product information seems to imply it can only be triggered by the new x3. As for people wanting to get their photo taken with the flash, I experienced a similar thing when using the lux senior and using a wired hot shoe cable, so definitely enjoy how people embrace the retro aesthetic and get excited by it!

      I don't have an X1 trigger to try, but it works with my Xpro, Xpro II, and X2t

    I would love to see somebody making simple little flash fired by mid contact just for two AAA like Metz26, but even smaller and usable on every camera using either manual 1/1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 power switch or simple A mode with photosensor. Usable on any camera with hotshoe and small enough to fit in any bag.

    Hello Rob Trek, how about doing a review of our synco xtalk x5 wireless intercom headset ?

      Thanks for the offer. Unfortunately, I don't think this product would be a good fit for my audience.

    This flash or tt350 for Olympus M10 III? Does TTL in this flash work with Olympus?

    • @RobTrek
      @RobTrek  10 днів тому

      These are very different flashes. The tt350 is compact on-camera flash, perfect for the em10iii. It can also be used off-camera with wireless trigger like the Godox X3. The Lux Master is an off-camera flash only that can be mounted via the flash bracket. You'll need the X3 trigger to use it. Both flashes are ttl compatible. Just be sure to get the Olympus/Panasonic version tt350 and x3.

    Does the leica SL2 compatible with this? Asking for a friend

    • @RobTrek
      @RobTrek  День тому

      I don't see a PC sync port on the SL2. So your friend will need to use a wireless trigger to fire the flash. I recommend the Godox XProII-L amzn.to/4fi6PYP
