Today we are taking a look at all the mistakes found in Fnaf 1 through 7.
this includes clipping, typos, and plot holes.

Just psx graphics. I'm convinced it was intentional lol
You forgot something, bonnie being a god by hovering
Lmao
I do feel most games have clipping during animations and stills, but we just don't notice. FNAF does get more attention since most mistakes are still and on screen for longer periods of time.
yeah
2:33 this one isn’t really a mistake. I think it’s kinda cool because while all the other animatronics get up in your face and, presumably bite you, withered Bonnie can’t do this since he has no jaw, so he reaches out and grabs you with his hand instead.

1:20 it's true that Bonnie is hovering, people even asked Scott why is Bonnie floating, Scott answered that Bonnie disobeys laws of physics. This is true due to the fact that Bonnie teleports or it could be a minor bug.
Scott's known for making jokes like this when responding to people, that's not a literal statement.
Bonnie: “F*ck logic” *starts floating*
@@corellioncrusaderproductio4679 anyways who gives a fuck bonnie can teleport and fly canonically
@@ketaminepoptarts He doesn't canonically teleport, none of the animatronics in the original games do. That's down to ingame mechanics. And if you want to take it literally, Bonnie always makes footsteps when he moves, implying he did walk or run to the new location.
@@corellioncrusaderproductio4679 the person you were replying to was joking...
4:47 Okay explanation from an animator, when you are animating it is a good idea to have a controler to grab for you're characters knees and elbows. The controller makes the elbow point towards the controller. their controller was probably moved and they didn't fix the few seconds their program inbetweened the two positions. Most likely a parenting issue that moved it incorrectly.
Looked at it again, since she is moving so far forward she moves past her left arm controller
Underrated comment
Yeah I know what your talking about, usually in an IK rig. Cuz sometimes you go back and try to change it but you accidentally change the posing like 1 frame off and it creates the twitching
As a 3D animator, I can confirm, that you explained it very well
I understood 10% of that
Security Breach needs its own video about this and i'm kinda worried about the duration of it

I always thought the endo clipping through Freddy’s hand and wires clipping through his feet were intentional when i was younger
Same often if somethings not being shown on a 3D model though it isn’t made. Eg. The ending skeleton feet, they are only made if there isn’t a casing on it. So perhaps there was a reason for it being there
I always thought that his hand just withered into a hole

Here's a fun drinking game: watch a FNAF animation & take a drink every time there's clipping. Or take a drink every time their's a clipping error brought up in this video. Either way you'll realise animatronics weren't built for advanced movements.

@@DJAlex1417 💀 yup
Up until FNaF Security Breach (they added holes) the animatronic's upper and lower arms and legs clipped through eachother if their arms were bent more than 45 degrees. You can see this very clearly in FNaF 1 with Foxy's 2nd pose (walking out of the cove), the upper and lower parts of his right arm are basically fused together

Very interesting how you managed to spot some of these hidden details, and how a lot of us managed to miss a lot of obvious ones. I still can't get over how so that I never noticed Foxy's teeth mistake in FNAF 1

Are you Mr. Can-Do’s head?
a mistake from the 4th game i was expecting on this list is where when you look at the left door, sometimes chica (further back in the hallway) will move out of the way of the light, but after a few frames it’ll turn into foxy. super weird, i believe markiplier experienced this one
No way- I want to see that actually.
@@megakittenex ua-cam.com/video/ibCoLMjwJ1g/v-deo.html go to 7:25 in this video
That only happens when Foxy is also trying to get into your wardrobe. When Markiplier experienced it, Foxy hadn’t yet gotten into his closet.
that means foxy is trying to get in your closet and when you dont watch that door for some time he will get there
1:12 They don't change color, they just reflect things differently. If you pay close attention, most of them actually get darker.

One thing I noticed during my recent revisit to the game, the FNAF 2 location doesn't seem to have an area for the front door. We don't usually see the front door in any of the games, but the map for this one in particular doesn't seem to even have a plausible location for the front entrance to be.
I think the gmod map for it just puts the entrance for it right besides the toy animatronics stage. That is a little weird realistically because normally you want your guests attention from the first second they enter the building on the main attraction and not make them look for it...
Nor a kitchen
@@rodrigocoockiemonster4460 I never realized that💀
Springtrap’s body wouldn’t have rotted so fast because of Remnant. That’s also how Michael stays alive.
I think the reason for the blocky withering is because 3d models have polygons. Less polygons means less time to model, and it's means it's taking up less resources
I don't think it's necessarily the low poly count, but rather it's probably a low quality displacement map and alpha mask. While I don't have the model to look at myself, I assume that the withering is a combination of an alpha mask to get the holes and a displacement map to get the raised bits, as it would mean you wouldn't need to model them in, but they're blocky because they're low resolution, which leads to the edges being a lot harsher and blockier than probably intended.
@@ARDIZsq To be honest, based on the big words you're using I think that might be a more likely explanation
@@ARDIZsq I'm pretty sure in Dawko's interview with Scott he says he actually modelled in the holes in the suit himself. The reason that the holes are so blocky is because the actual object mesh has a higher poly count so he has more poly's to remove to add detail, the issue with this is that without going back and changing all the verts of the corners to smooth it out, you are left with where the polygon used to be, which is the shape of a square. Hence the blocky appearance.
3:59 Dude chill, he just has a really good gaming chair, and the mountain dew he drinks keeps him preserved

ty for making this video, a few of the things you mentioned were actually purposefully put into the game for some reason, like the fnaf 2 paycheck, most likely implying that some of the voicemails were pre-recorded. Some of these "glitches" actually connect to the lore somehow
yeah thanks for saying that, thought it was gen knowledge that they were pre recorded
1:33
It’s probably because they just used the original Freddy model.
I like how when talking about mangle you change between male and female pronouns
Mangle’s gender is one of my favorite running gags in the series lmao

@@orangutan8125 I know I was simply just trying to inferring that we think the same
Ya in ucn HER description has both probable referring to HIS bare endo/ covered head
A mistake in SL I was expecting in here was that during Ballora’s jumpscare her faceplates clip through her tiara and ears. Also worth mentioning even though it’s not much of a mistake is that night 4 had to be patched bc of the difficulty of the night itself
6:19 look closely at the metal rings on the snout, you can see the corner of a black box clipping through the metal rings on the right
I saw it after rewatching the video 3 times and im really angry from it lol and it would be such and easy fix too :(
Another mistake: the trailer for fnaf 1 shows the animatronic ears moving, yet the endo skeletons have no ear parts so this would be impossible
@@NeelDaGamer delicious
But they all have separate endos that have endo ears💀
@@cadencase5216 in the fnaf 1 trailer when Bonnie takes off its mask, there’s no ears on the endos 💀
I wouldn’t say that Sister Location is free of errors at all. As someone who enjoys SL as my favorite FNAF Title, I can say for certain that certain models for jumpscares have some serious clipping , especially with the faceplates.
Yeah and he literally has another SL error as the thumbnail lmao
There's also this weird little inconsistency with Funtime Freddy's ears an top hat, they're attached to his endo in his jumpscare, but attached to his faceplates in the parts and service
Yeah I know what ur talking ‘bout, often the face plates clip through the ears
Ennard eyebrows 😭
Sometimes it's here, sometimes only one appear and sometimes only the other appear
In sister location it had more mistakes like Funtime Foxy's faceplates clip with their ears as seen in their jumpscare, Bonnet's paw clips through her muzzle when she lowers down, Funtime freddy's ears move with the face plates when they open in parts service and Certain animatronic parts clip into the floor of the scooping room. These include but not limited to: bon bon's ear Funtime foxy's arms and fingers, and Ballora's skirt. These were also mentioned on the wiki site...
I love how every mistake is either something is clipping through something else or an important lore details and not a mistake

I’m 90% sure the reason the liquid is never cleaned up is the same reason those ‘Happy Burthday!’ banners and decorations stay up for the entire week
… also, Phone Guys calls aren’t in real time. On one of the later nights, he says that there’s a birthday scheduled but like I’ve mentioned above, birthday decorations are up ALL WEEK
Still love this vid 🙂
3:30 this is Fazbear Entertainment we're talking about
6:17 I'm guessing this means that there's some black box in Foxxy's nose, because you can see the metal rings have some black triangles hiding them on the left side of Foxxy's nose, cant really unsee it
7:06 surprised you didn't mention the infamous "I will put you back together" color glitch
I feel like Scott was lazy with a couple of things with the making and drawing of the sprites, cause remember, a majority of the FNAF games are 2D, and are nothing is at all 3D. Scott used tricks to make almost an illusion to create this hyperrealistic franchise that makes it look so realistic, little kids would think their house is haunted by Freddy Fazbear. But I feel like the clipping was just, too little in the grand project, it was little details while in the middle of Night 6 in FNAF 2, you're not focused on looking at every little thing you can point out and criticize, it's the GOD DAMN MOTHERFUCKING MUSIC BOX.
True, I'm just stupid.
The fact that nobody bits on the design/layout of the first two maps insane.
They’re 3D models. They’re just added in, in ways that look kinda 2d!
The clipping isn’t an issue as most are during moving scenes for a single frame you’d never have time to notice ingame or in dark areas you can’t see the clipping due to poor lighting. They were probably intentionally left in to make animating less of a headache because to have 0 frames of clipping takes quite a bit of workaround actually!
1:54 "on this camera we can see toy chica's waist-" oh yes we do O_O
bro.
2:19 Notice how he swapped the genders mid sentence for mangle just like Scott did
I love how you use him and her for mangle
Really I love it
there is also the very obvious clipping from funtime foxy in Sister Location's trailer, where all 4 animatronics are on stage.
foxy's hand clips through their body in the middle on their looped animation.
Foxy's teeth remain gold in Five Nights 1, it's just the shading of the space his head is in during the last few frames because Scott probably used a metalic material, witch often gets engulfed by shadows in quite a few lighting conditions.
Sister Location does actually have a handful of errors, I think.
For example, in one of the teasers for Bidybab in the vent, I think the faceplates clip through the shoulder.
In sister location it had alot of mistakes like Funtime Foxy's faceplates clip with their ears as seen in their jumpscare, Bonnet's paw clips through her muzzle when she lowers down, Funtime freddy's ears move with the face plates when they open in parts service and Certain animatronic parts clip into the floor of the scooping room. These include but not limited to: bon bon's ear Funtime foxy's arms and fingers, and Ballora's skirt. These were also mentioned on the wiki site...
Matpat proved that the phone recordings of Fnaf two were happening at a different time. From the restaurant 3:50
Matpat "proved" it a really long time ago, however if that was the case, then the night guard in fnaf 2 switching to day shift was a completely different guard then who phone guy was talking to when he said "we may move you to the dayshift" in the call on night 6. And we know the guards did in fact switch because the guard name on the 10/20 mode ending is a different guard then the guard name given night 5 and 6. So no, they are not pre recorded. Phone guy was likely just reading off a script from summer on the call.
4:45 This is known as an IK error, or Inverse Kinematics error, likely the rig for chica glitching out because the bones moving her were pulled or moved into a location too fast or too awkwardly for the 3D software to calculate fast enough
I like how there’s supposedly only one mistake listed for Sister Location, and then a different one from the same game is used in the thumbnail
Yeah theres a few more in that game I forgot to mention. I had made the thumbnail months ago 🥲

I can already tell this video's gonna be dope. Your an amazing youtuber and your barely even 10 videos in!
I like how all pizza sims problems are scrap traps design
06:20 The user is actually referring to the black box inside foxy's muzzle, the edges of the black box clips through he's muzzle frames
Love the effort put into these videos, not many lower sub channels do so. Keep it up!
foxy's teeth don't go from gold to white, they're gold the whole time. the angle from the initial from of the jumpscare may make it seem odd.
that reflective mapping on the gold teeth is probably why we dont see them so prominently at the end of the scare
Another great video as always brotha
what I noticed while playing UCN with my friend, is that on Ballora's mechanic description there's a grammar error as well. I don't quite remember what it was exactly, but a word or two were repeated for no reason

at 6:24 i think its the black boxes. if you pay close attention to the rings you can see some rings have black boxes infront.
8:13 I just noticed that in Mangle’s Jumpscare her other Endo Head is no connected to her Arm, it’s just floating.
Its a great day when there is a new upload!
the spill in party room 2 gets cleaned every day, it just keeps getting exactly replicated by the new group of kids.
2:26 you missed another error mangles left arm is clipping out of the vent i think there other head is clipping too
Watching this error video helped me notice another error. In Mangles UCN jumpscare, the second head detaches from the neck (8:10)
Oh boy someones gonna love security breach's error list.
Anyways! Nice video ^^ I love watching this, it's very interesting!
I love your videos!!
what about in how golden freddy's suit sits, the thighs clip into his chest?!
(he wouldn't be able to sit at all if we look at it that way)
When you pointed out Balloon Boy’s button lighting issues in FNAF 2, I noticed his hand clips as well in that pose and I’m surprised you didn’t point it out.
i love that you switched between he and her when talking about mangle! that was so small but awesome to see!
2:17 that's because scott had trouble posing mangle so he just put mangle as a separate sprite (even though he could of just rendered mangle inside the camera scene but whatever)
if security breach was here this video would be at least five hours
And it will constantly have been to be updated
For the mangle UCN mistake I think that was intended by Scott since logically how would mangle have an endo skeleton jaw if her endo head is outside of her head which was probably another mistake for fnaf 2 mangle in terms of design
It could be that mangle just has 2 endoskeleton heads, I remember people theorising that maybe the 2nd head belonged to a parrot companion, like rockstar foxy's
No, my theory is that she had a puppet hand like , or that maybe she was rebuilt incorrectly one time and put another endo head on her, idk
@@XAEzl wait but where did you get the idea she had a puppet hand tho?
actually that is not her endoskeleton head, that second head was an additional piece placed for the game of separating and reassembling, like most of her limbs. so yes, this is a mistake
@@srcreeper02550 I'm personally thinking that it might be there for a parrot of something

0:43 This same mistake also happened when you check the stage cam
6:57 lmao you got me imagining a foxybro jumpscare
Pretty sure the Golden Freddy having the same handprint is a mistake. You have to remember, this was scotts final attempt of making a hit game, he probably wasn't thinking much for a secret animatronic that nobody was gonna find because it was unlikely anyone would play the game. He probably just turned the freddy model yellow and called it a day.
1:10 the teeth dont go to white they just become VERY dark but you can still see the yellow tint from them
3:18 i think that was intentional...

Think of all of the frames in these games. These are the only times things clip. These are well made wow
If he was to do fnaf sb the video would be 5hrs long
Fnaf 1 golden freddy having the same handprint as freddy can easily be explained by Scott simply sliding around the color values of the og freddy model's textures and then saving it as its own model
Thanks, now I cannot unsee these.
1:25 Scott can easily call this a callback to how the animatronics were floating during the development of the game
