Michael what about the other bolts? Just bought the Haymes manuals to get all the Torques for all parts, exhaust, inlet, water pump etc and none supplied

Nice video bro👍🏼. My BT50 is hard to start. I have to be constantly cracking the injection lines to bleed it. Your video confirm my suspension that I may have a bad HPFP - could be the regulator valve or springs. Much appreciated
Hai buddy. I love you video. I have a question about my ranger as the same engine as yours. The problem is i got engine oil lick at fuel pump area. But i not sure. Were are the lick from. So its possible tht the lick from fuel pump or other place. It will only lick when the car move. Please help me. 😢😢
I have same issue, thinking the oil is from the intake manifold seal and there seams to be a leaking high pressure fuel line from the pump - maybe just needs to be retorqued
Thanks for the great video, I’m about to start doing one on my 3.25 cylinder on my camper. Are there no gaskets go between the pump and the block? Thanks.
Thanks for your great video. I recently had an oil leak from my injector pump on the Ford 3.2 L 5 cylinder diesel motor. The whole pump was replaced. Apparently the seal can not be replaced. I have a history of poor fuel consumption. Is it possible to encounter oil dilution with diesel fuel because the seal was leaking. ???
heya mate, thanks so much for the video. just embarking on this journey on my dad's 2015 PXII. just wondering if you had those torque values handy for the injector pump? the 3 rear bolts and the front pulley bolt? thanks again
Have you seen the pumps fail and send metal particles to the injectors and make them stick open, i also found metal shavings in the fuel filter housing.
Hi mate. Im looking for your link to how to remove filter housing. Have i over looked it here someone ? Thanks for the video by the way. If i manage to fix this on my own with your help. Ill be sure to buy you a beer.

Hello, and thanks for put this effort to show this; i have an 2014 3.2 ranger, when cold the engine start to shaking and white/light blue smoke come out, the turbo is repaired, the injectors tested and ok, it is possible that this pump could be the origin of this?, this occurs since i have this pick up. Thank you so much for the detailed video. My Ranger is running fine but there is a significant diesel leak from around where the cast iron section of the pump meets the aluminium section on the back. Do you reckon I'd still have to replace the whole pump?
@@abdautomotive yes, car runs perfectly fine. I can even drive it at 100 Kph on the freeway without any issues. Diesel seems to he leaking out from where the two husings meet together

Oil is coming from my injector pump . If I clean the area it will take about 4 months before the area gets oil around it. What can be causing that? Is it blow by ?
Hey mate, great video… I’ve watched a few of yours now for egr cooler etc. has been really helpful so it’s appreciated. Had to ask though as I’m about to attempt a pump repair/replacement in the coming weeks once the sprocket puller and timing plate arrives, is there a bleed process after installation of the injector pump or any calibration required? Cheers champ 👍
no just a straight swap, it's all mechanical, i would crack the lines at the injectors once you fit the new pump, as there will be alot of air in the system when you first crank the motor.
@abdautomotive Thanks for the awesome video, mate. I will hopefully tackle this one day soon. When you say crack the injector lines, do you mean just crack them and then tighten them again. Definitely not leaving them cracked when I try and start her again? Thanks
Hello what problems have you encountered with your Ranger’s airconditioning. Mine is only cold on the driver side, and the passenger side not so much. Already changed all actuators on driver and passenger side and engine fan. Passenger side still not cool enough. Really perplexing problem lol.
Hey mate have you ever had issues with battery drain? I have smart charge turned off and if i let it sit for two days it needs a jumpstart. Been through 2 batteries.
Rangers are notorious for all sorts of different parasitic battery drains if they're old. Particularly if the switches and the door latches are bad it causes the truck's computer to never shut down or anytime any a car passes by and causes it to move or a vibration it'll cause the computer to go into standby mode where it stays for 45 minutes and has much higher power job then when the truck is just sitting and shut down mode. My 95 ranger had that going on and even when I took the dome light out it got me where I could go 4 days on a full battery without a training disconnected the switches in the door and that didn't help much more so I still have some other drain but before disconnecting the door switches and the dome light my battery would last about a day before it was dead. Though I have a problem with my radio too whenever I turn the key my radio is on and the switch on the radio doesn't work to shut it off unless I hold it in I had to stick a little piece of paper on the sides of the button so that I will stay off and that bought me a little more time before my battery completely dies but I still have something that draws power. So my only way around it is to put a disconnect on the battery terminals and then hope they never forget to disconnect it whenever I'm parked for more than just a few hours. Which really sucks because other than that and a few minor problems here and there over the years that I've had to truck it's a super reliable truck except for when the battery is dead
Good morning. I had a question, regarding the fuel reading. Sometimes after topping up fuel guage still reads 0km, or it doesn't increase after I fill up the car. What do you do in such a situation? In both a PX1 XLT and PX3 Wildtrak
Late reply but anyone bothered by this, make sure to take off the key OFF when fueling. In case you forget and it doesn’t update, unplug your negative terminal for a few seconds.
