I've read the original plan was to start the season with the White Walkers walking into screen. David Bradley's performance as Walder Frey in that scene was soooo good they started with the Arya as Walder scene
Off topic but idk if you've had any requests for this but The Penguin just recently finished and I think you would love it, it takes place after the 2022 Batman but as far as I'm aware that is the only piece of media in this new world of batman movies and the penguin series then leads into the new batman movie coming out, I think The Penguin is one of the best series I have watched tbh. speaking of greatness this game of thrones reaction series has been a blast to watch so far
Love the irony of the scene with Ed S/Lannister army, a bunch of good guys (for a change), on their way to resolve the drama at the Freys - of which they have no idea is what Arya caused and they are entertaining her.
