I got my 2024 Honda Odyssey this past October and I LOVE it! I’ve had 2 Toyota Siennas and while they were okay, nothing beats my Odyssey!
I've driven the Sienna as a rental when on trips and I now own my third Odyssey, the latest being the 2021 model. I much prefer the Odyssey because of it's agile handling, smooth drive train performance, and outstanding fuel milage of 35mpg when on the interstate and 24mpg when driving around town. When I retire my current model, I will get another Odyssey.
I'm sure the Odyssey is more comfortable and has a slightly better driving experience. Every car I have ever owned up until now has been very used, the Seinna drives like a dream compared to what I am used to. I went with buying a 2024 Seinna LE because AWD is necessary in snowy Colorado. The hybrid is the second major selling point. I don't plan on ever using my minivan to transport 4x8 sheets of drywall or plywood, I have a truck with a full-sized bed for that fortunately. I’d say they have a point about the engine noise being a little intrusive when accelerating. But its not a deal breaker, I’d still go with my Sienna if I had to do it again. The biggest down side is how hard it is to get a Sienna, I had to wait 9 months! And a lot of dealer are using that scarcity to jack up the price. Fortunatly, my dealer didn't play that game and I was able to buy it at MSRP
It is Sienna's North American sales that make Odyssey possible! I love my 2024 Odyssey sport! All black is so cool!

Takes a lot of work to Remove the Second Row Seats in the Toyato Sienna
The biggest problem with the new Honda is the lack of second and third row ceiling air vents. I have always had great experiences with Honda and would love to get an Odyssey, but moving the vents to the side by the seats is insanity for hot weather climates. Kids especially in rear facing car seats won’t get any direct air flow with the vents by the floor.
Sienna gets better MPG and looks more modern. Hybrid and higher quality.
I have had the Honda and also the sienna, and Toyota is much better, with the sienna you will never go to the mechanic
All the toyota dealer mark up $5000 to 10000 on sienna in southern CA. Just brought a Honda. Hope toyota out off business soon.

why do Honda odyssey cost more than Toyota Sienna especially when they don't have AWD?

It depends what you looking for. If you are driving in a long distance, Honda Odyssey is best for you. Drive both minivans and see what suits you.
I drive my Odyssey all day on trips over 12 hours and I'm not tired or sore when I arrive at my destination. I've driven a lot of different cars and trucks and the Odyssey is the best for long distance travel.
Can’t trust a car channel if they can’t even tell the difference between a Sienna and an Odessey.

Sienna has two major issues, first, it is much smaller, second, you should expect frequent malfunctions and expensive repair.
TOYOTA LOST ON MINIVAN. . we are a family of 4 members and in that respect I will go with Odyssey and I own Odyssey. nobody can't beat Honda in the mini van world WRT space and cargo. For gas saving I will go with corolla or Camry. I am not a fan of any brand but I go with the brand based on my needs. How many sienna you see on the road compared to Odyssey ? Offcourse Odyssey wins here. I see more corolla and camry than honda. In Hybrid world Toyota wins. For my daughter, going to college, I will buy corolla than civic or accord.
part of the problem is that there is a year long waiting list to even get a new Sienna lol.
@@Boredandhere Possibly , because there is always a long wait for hybrid automobiles and Sienna is all hybrid.
AWD Hybrid and a lifted version 3500 towing capability. Everyone has different needs so to reach their own

Sienna is now using the CVT transmission. Is it better than the Auto one of Honda with 10 levels?

Don't buy a honda 2012 or older but the newer ones are better i think there is too much technology in the new sienna i would buy the honda unless you drive far everyday then the sienna is better because of the much better fuel economy
