That's my birthplace, thank you for sharing your experience. There's a lot more to Mayan culture than meets the eye for those who appreciate Native American civilizations.
As a professional videographer myself I have to say that your videography skills are developing at a rapid pace. I think filming comes natural to you, like me. I'd say in a year or so you'll be the next quentin taritino lol. Keep up the great work!
This is actually normal for kids we learn how to work at 6-10 depending on where were from and by working we developed mature skills and try our best in what we want this is important to us because we love our culture and express it in a lot of ways such at working hard making clothing building and cooking!! Plz don't feel offended I am Guatemalan and I love what we do at the age of 5 I learned how to take care of myself and would be responsible for my 2 younger siblings💙💙💙💙💙..
I'm Guatemalan/puerto rican living in Orlando and appreciate your bravery of checking my country out. The best fruit and vegetables due to the sulfuric soil. ❤
OMGGG YOURE IN GUATEMALAAA?? I’ve been here since September I’m so happy you’ve finally made it down here I was just in antigua 2-3 days ago! And it’s true the markets really do hits so differently!! If you haven’t check out the coast monterrico where there’s private beaches… definitely have to check lake Atitlan !!!!!
The macadam jokes had me cracking up! Thank you for sharing these informative videos with us about lovely different cultures around the world. Liking every vid before it even starts because I know it won't disappoint in quality! We love the good Energy!
Great video. This one tugged at my heart strings seeing that little boy. One of my old neighbors moved from Mexico with her sons. I used to babysit for her for free because she worked in a warehouse from sun up to sun down. Her work ethic was unmatched by so many people I know. She never complained like I do about so much. That little boy would have had all of my coins just to get him off the street early for one day.
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay! you went. As soon as you were in Mexico, I was clamoring for you to go to GUATE. I told you --you'd like Guatemala! Panajachel-----------------------------is my jam! I recognize that church in Antigua at Parque Central. The Rainbow Reading Room-I started the open mic years ago. I am tuning in, for sure.
@@K9Trixx Guatemala City or Guate as it's called, DOES have its edgy areas and where you have to exercise caution. .. but so does NYC , San Fran, etc. It also has its glam spots. All major urban areas are like this. You have to know before you travel, which zones, you feel comfortable in. Most folks use Guate as the point of entry and departure to the smaller mountainous villages, beaches, rainforest, or even other nearby countries. ❤️🧡💙 At least, that's what I did, and will do
I took an impromptu trip to Guatemala in Sept and toured over half of Guatemala. It’s definitely worth visiting. Easily one of my top vacays and I’ve traveled to multiple countries on 4 continents.
It's amazing how a little goes a long way when the intentions are sincere. It's obvious that the Guatemalan people care about their community. I felt bad for that cute little boy also. Working those long hours. I will pass on the drink that taste like grits, water, and salt.
I just completed my first solo trip to Guatemala. I stayed in Guatemala City and Antigua. Hands down, one is the most beautiful countries I’ve visited. I highly recommend it!
Energi, you do such an amazing job at showcasing the culture of the countries you visit. I stopped you on Fifth ave like a week and a half ago and spoke to you. I was having a shitty day and running into you was pretty cool. any who, you've inspired me to get more serious about learning Spanish so I can communicate efficiently.
Thanks for sharing. Is so rich and beautiful the United Kingdom of Guatemala established since 1609 and extends from El Soconusco (today Chiapas) to part of Panama. Guatemala is 12th producer of silver in the world and 20th producer of gold besides having massive reserves of nickel, jade and so many other natural resources. The Malvinas belong to Argentina, The Esequibo belongs to Venezuela and Belice belongs to Guatemala. Guatemala is so magical, rich, unique and beautiful; I am dying to visit Guatemala again. God bless
Me encanta este vídeo. Guatemala es muy bonito y la gente es muy trabajadora. I feel so sorry for that little boy. El pobrecito tiene que trabajar para ganar dinero. Nice vlog!
@@goodenergi OMG. It’s you! Thank you.I enjoy your channel as well. You are such an inspiration! I hope to travel to half of the places you’ve been to.❤️
Thanks for sharing so nice. Guatemala is so beautiful, rich, magical and unique. Hopefully I will visit Guatemala again soon.
