    The thing that surprised me the most with my Keychron K6 is how nice the actual stock stabilizers can sound just by adding some lube/dielectric grease to them. I also added a thin layer of band aid right at the point where the stabilizer connects to the plate and they sound really good.

    I modded my *K6 Pro* with a 3-layer tempest mod, 2 layers of super thin anti-static foam and topped it off with Gateron Oil King for that deep *thock*
    Also the space stab effing sucks, a lot of thick grease but still kinda rattley, so a some bandaids inside the cap helped a bit.. but that also took away some of the travel

    I'm deep deep into this hobby and have multiple very expensive keyboards, but yet I'm typing this on my very first one the Keychron k6. I have tealios v2 switches in mine with some kinetic labs seal pbt keycaps. It's just a solid board. It's not my best sounding or feeling for that matter. Somehow it always seems to find it's way back to my desk as my daily driver.

    Did you get the switches when they weren't factory lubed? It says on kineticlabs that they are delivered pre lubed

    I think you put the spacebar upside down. I may be wrong

    • @felixkruip
      @felixkruip  2 роки тому +2

      Funny that you noticed it, I thought about explaining it in the video. I do it so that my thumb is more comfortable and it does not hit the corner from that angle. It’s also better for when I type, since I won’t accidentally hit the spacebar with one of my fingers when I reach for the lower row of keys.

    Is the spacebar upside down? And if so is this on purpose?

    • @felixkruip

    Do you or anyone watching now, know if all versios are 5-pin hotswappable PCB's? Found one new auctioned of for quite cheap, so looking into the specs of it atm. The listing does not specify which model it is, just "Keychron K6 RGB Aluminium Gateron Brown Switch" (or with Red Gateron).

    • @felixkruip
      @felixkruip  Рік тому

      Sounds like it is the standard version (not hot-swappable).

    • @lolrobin
      @lolrobin Рік тому

      @@felixkruip Its starting to sound like it tbh. Do you happen to still have the box left of the K6? I've found out the hotswap models product code starts with an X or X0 atleast

    • @felixkruip
      @felixkruip  Рік тому

      @@lolrobin Nope, don't have the box anymore. I've also switched to NuPhy Halo65.
