If you want a higher end kit I'd recommend a ifixit kit. Or you can find cheap alternatives on Amazon. Just search for a phone repair kit. Sorry for the late response!
I haven't had any issues or heard of anyone having issues. Your battery shouldn't be getting that warm. If you're worried about it though you could cut around the battery or skip putting in foam as a whole.
@@Subee7 Yeah I ended up leaving out foam around the battery to avoid putting pressure on it, I'm sure that it would be fine either way but I'd rather be safe than sorry and it sounds great to me.

Unplugging? You want to desolder the usb c port?
@@Subee7 no like the cable from the battery is hard to wiggle out
@@GroomedScoobertMulch63 just pull it'll come, wiggle it back and forth. Do not pull it from the cables though.
