I feel like I’ve seen this comment before
@@joeya.2458 Same, maybe from Livia Kleiner
That’s a bad idea
haha 7X7 4x4 double parity and color scheme wrong megaminx but yeah that would be hard too do good idea
Why I love j perm's teaching:
1. It doesn't bores me
2. He speaks in a daily life language.
3. My favourite cuber.
Ah yes speaks in a "daily life" Language
Ah yes it doesn't "bores" you
It doesn't bores me 💀
he's my second favorite. cubehead's first. but i do agree on the other two. j perm (alg and person) is AWESOME
4. he calls 4x4 as double parity cube
I like how the first time stamp is simply called: “hi”
the second one is “rubix cube”
“Double parity cube”
“Impossible cube”
It's "Hi"
Why is this even an event 😂
I got my first cube for Christmas and watched your tutorial, and now I average 35s. Now you have inspired me to branch out and learn new puzzles. Thanks for everything!
Congrats on improving so quickly! Keep on cubing! :)
Literally the same thing here, started around Christmas time and averaging 35s! Wonder where I'll be in the next couple months , keep on cubing and branching out ur puzzles !!
Sorta same here lol, I got my first cube from my friend in February and he got me into cubing and I learned with the “you can do the cube” pamphlet and now I average around 21 seconds😂
I started in February and I avarage around 35 seconds with 2 look cfop (dont know how to do f2l)
i learned f2l and beginner last layer until i quit and came back, learned oll and pll in 2 days and am averaging about your speed. pb 24 secs@@sasavelicka262
I just got my skewb yesterday and I love it you've always inspired me to keep solving and getting better thank you
Idea : I'd like to see an updated version of your speedcube tier list, now that we have quite a lot of other options. You could do the same, based on your opinion, I think it could be interesting.
i like your name
Wow. For 4x4 and 5x5, I just saw a lot of interesting ideas and strategies I can use to increase my efficiency. Nice.
Hey Jperm! I love your videos! Thank you for updating this video!
I have been waiting a long time! Thanks jperm for posting! I bought my dad for Father’s Day the “cubing dad” mug from your merch. He loved it 😊
I'm glad he enjoyed it :)
J perm you unboxing v RS cube please
@@JPerm you are the best
Can you do a Q&A soon? If you do, how long did it take you to learn intuitive f2l, full oll, and pll?
Do a video where you solve without inspection. This would really show how important inspection is.
One question how many Gan 3x3s do you have?
Keep up the good work
He just unboxed a gan mosiac and now he has over 100 ;-;
@Daniel and psx relatable. i can inspect only when 2 or more cross pieces are solved and like there is a 4 move cross which is rare
@Daniel and psx wtf- why would you not use inspection?
@Daniel and psx ik, it was an exaggerated reply, most people find inspection useful so it made me confused to why you wouldn't use it.
@Daniel and psx agreed
This is really quite interesting! I need to spend more time with the larger cubes. His 4x4 breakdown was great!
Jperm is the reason I cube once I saw one of your videos and I got inspired so I grabbed my Rubik’s brand and learned with your tutorial. After a few hours I solved a cube and now it’s a few months later and I used most of your tutorials like the Ortega for 2x2 the 323 for 4x4 and like every cube and now cubing is my hobby. Thank you Jperm
i really want to get back into it like i was when i was a kid. i still want to beat my 30 second best time for solving a 3x3
I was just thinking like a week ago that I hope you make another video like this and you did :) can't wait to watch it
Hello bed protector
YOOOO CHEETAH HERE ?!
fr
hi cheetahh
I was thinking about you after watching swrz lol and then i came to this vid and then thought to go to ur channel
Thank you, J perm I really learned a lot, especially from your 5×5 example solve
Nice! I've been patiently waiting for this!
I just got my 5x5x5, 6x6x6 and 7x7x7. Learning to solve them, starting with the 5 first. Timely video!
hey! just wanted to thank you for your videos. you got me back into cubing, and my PB has gone from a 2 minute 45 down to 52 seconds!! i'm super chuffed with my progress. thank you for your tutorials!
Keep working! You will get even sub 30 if you keep cubing. It will take time, but you can do it💪!
this 5x5 edgepairing method looks really fun, I'll definitely try to learn that after I pick up my new cubes at the post office tomorrow, incl. a new magnetic stickerless 5x5 :)
Great video J Perm! Love your content!
Can you do an interview with Jessica Fridrich, inventor of the Fridrich method, otherwise known as the CFOP method? Roux method inventor too, or other important figures in the cubing world? It would be historical for them to be here with you on the largest youtube cubing channel.
I second this, but he probably won't do it as he is busy with mario cart these days
Hi! I’m curious, do you think that it could be advantageous to not solve the cross immediately? Also, thank you for doing what you’re doing. You are the reason I started my channel.
It's rarely better to solve the cross later. For example you may solve an F2L pair in between solving the cross (which is an x-cross). My general rule is your inspection planning must solve the cross. If you want to do other things as well that's fine, but you must have planned all the way until the cross gets solved.
I find sometimes that putting in two cross pieces swapped opposite each other gives me some extremely easy f2l cases, and i can solve the flipped edges by doing M2 U2 M2 any time during OLL or make a better case in PLL, but I think that this is bad practice
Depends on how advanced you are. If your asking the question you should most likely solve it immediately. But if your at a super high level with godly lookahead you can afford to not finish the cross immediately. Tymon Kolasinski for example does an x cross like 80% of the time wherein he doesn't finish the cross immediately
It’s a good day when jperm posts. I have lots of bad days.
Nice vid Dylan! Keep up the good work!
Loved the video. Next time though, I think it would be more helpful not to mirror the video as it (at least for me) causes more confusion getting left and rights muddled up than just having lefty algs, depends what’s easier tho
I love how he has no intro and goes strain to the point
j perm you are the best I learned almost evry thing from you that had something to do with the cubeing so thank you.
cool video jperm!
Love ur vids jperm. You're the best cubing youtuber of all the time. You got me into cubing. Now im sub 7. I have reached here because of you. Thanks alot. your videos really inspire me . Never stop making them .Big fan from Bangladesh 🇧🇩🇧🇩💟💟
Those who know why the 6x6 chapter was called the Impossible cube, you are a big fan of this channel.
The vid got a decent amount of views so I think people will easily figure out

Enjoyed This Video A Lot!!!!!!
ive been waiting for this
hi jperm, thx so much your tutorials on cfop really helped me get to sub-30 but I turn SUPER inaccurately so could you please make a full review on the gan 356 m (bc you already said that it was like the Gan X which has really good corner cutting). there are other reviews as well but i trust u the most :)
same
It would probably be for the better to learn to turn more accurately, turning is really important in the long run even with a good cube
When you realize there’s no 1x1 because that cube is too much for him to comprehend
Thanks for making tutorials! You helped me solved my first 3x3 or 3x3x3
I love how he never runs out of ideas
One of the first J Perm vids i watched was that example solves video like two years ago. Still love it and still love all your videos ngl
Hey Dylan! I have a VERY hard challenge for you. The challenge is to solve the 3x3 Rubik's cube with CFOP method using only the 21 PLL algorithms. (Now I know what you're thinking, you've done it with JUST jperm's before,so this isn't hard at all but refer to rule 2 for that)
And sorry for how long the comment is, but pls read to the end, I promise it's a very fun challenge, took me 2 hours to do it.
Rules:
1) You must use only the 21 PLL algorithms to solve the cube and each step of CFOP must be done using only those
2)You cannot replicate a U move on a face like you did for for "only JPerms" cube solve
So if you wanted to insert an F2L pair you have to move those two specific pieces to the correct spot and can't replicate R U' R'.
Same for OLL, you have to find a way to twist/flip the corners and edges with only PLL algs.
3)Cube rotations are allowed
4)You cannot do any setup outer turns/slice moves and then execute a PLL. Only PLL's and cube rotations
5)No parity algs allowed
And if you want to, you can do the same with roux method, though I don't know how easy/hard that will be.
And sorry for the ridiculously long comment, I just wanted the rules to be clear. Have fun!🙂
If you remove rule 4 I am pretty sure I could do it
Good idea!
@@mrsarthak9953 yeah that's the hard part, otherwise its pretty much just like solving with old pochmann
This isn’t that long of a comment, I have seen much longer…….
I can do f2l but with rule no 4 oll is imposible
I love how 4x4 is called double parity cube
Thanks!
These videos always makes our days better
GR8 VID!
Lucky me a nice cubing video to finish off a great birthday. Thanks a lot jperm
TYSM FOR UPLOADING AGIAN J PERM I LOVE UR VIDEOS 🤩🤩🤩
I ordered your RS3M cube 3 weeks ago and I got it today. It's an amazing cube!
Dude I love ur content it’s very high quality! 🙃

and now doing a revision of all these things!!! UR SOOO Great
love your vids
Thank you so much, you know what i want before i do
I first started cubing back in the 80s when it came out. Just recently picked up a new speed cube (life got in the way). So difficult to ‘forget’ my old slow method and learn the new way!!!
lol i started last year
so helpful! You have inspired me to make my own channel.
yay Jperm upload
J perm keep your youtube uploads up! I love your videos and I aspire to be as highly intellectual as you are one day
Finnaly a new vid
The video chapters are absolutely gold.
GREAT VIDEO LOL!!
The example solve videos are always the best 💪💪💪
This is what we needed
wow really cool!
Love the chapter names
This was great to watch and learn from. Also, I love the lofi legend of Zelda song (Gamechops( you have in as background music.
Amazing video keep up the nice vids :)
On the thumbnail is says “new” but it’s not very “new” anymore.
This really helped me out! I cut my 4x4 - 7x7 times down by about 10-15%!
Perfect
Video
Love the creative section titles 😂 thank you for the amazing vid jperm! appreciate the content:)
your video is awesome :)
I just can't seem to get better at the yau 4x4 method and found it alot easier to do All the centers first and then start with the edge pairing process
Hello nice vid Love your vids
Let’s go thanks!
I love your videos
Yayyyyyy another video
when did you start cubing? You are great at solving cubes and I got inspired by you, great job. What are your favorite events to do? How many do you do?
I love this video
this video is awsome
Tysm
Hello Jperm i really like your videos you helped me a lot with 2x2 3x3 and 4x4 let’s get you to 2 mil
lets goo i needed this vid because i want to buy a new cube so i want to see how a lot of cubes work so i can pick a fav and buy it from scs
Watching this video makes Yau actually look nice for 5x5 and 6x6. I might switch for 5x5 and learn 6x6 on Yau (getting my 6x6 along with a Skewb and Squan soonish, just ordered last week from SCS).
Just ordered my first actual cubes ever, a 2x2, a 3x3 and a 5x5, can't wait to mess around with them when I get them.
entertaining as always
waiting for an unboxing video 😊
Yeah, also he has to review the smart cubes
Thanks ur the best
Love it
Added onto my questions I asked you to answer in your next q&a(my other questions were in your last vids comments);
1: how do you know which position to perform a e perm, because sometimes it works, but sometimes it gives me an h perm
2: how do you join competitions right when they come out, because lets say I check one day ( no competitions), then I check the day after (now there is a competition, but there are already 80 competitors, and like 30 people on the waiting list
3: can you lucid dream?
for E perm, UFR sticker should be same as the visible sticker of UBR corner when you start the standard alg. if this is not true, the do U or U' before starting the algorithm.
I love your solves bcos you actually think. So far I just have the algorithms memorized
thank you j perm for teaching me of how to solve a cube
Ahh, another J Perm vid. I love it
I was just seeing your full pll tutorial and saw this! I decided this is a bit more important than my practice...
Practice makes perfect. You should probably keep practicing
@@sylvanhrowberry I was just kidding man... but thanks for the advice!
@@mirzaasjad9755 Haha, I didn't realize!
Very cool👍
This actually helped me understand the yao(sp?) Method for 4x4, for some reason it just clicked watching you do it in this video.
Can you do a video about how you warm up before cubing? I always find myself starting cubing and my hands are not very warmed up and my first 10-20 solves are about 1-2 seconds above my average. Is this jsut how it is or is there a way that you warm up to start better. Thx!
I love the new cube names
Nice Rubix Cube solve Jperm
Hi! I love your videos!🙃🥰
excellent channel for cubers
Hey J Perm, when will you review the Smart Cubes you mentioned a while ago? The Monster Go one and the MoYu one
Bro thank you for the 5x5 you fixed my problems with it!
I just ordered your cube!
