It's been working great since we got it. haven't had an actual power outage yet though... But I start it up each month as the manual says no problem. If you want to use this unit to power your everything in your home, (not all at once) make sure any appliances or furnace will start with 30 amp service. Some furnaces need 50 amps to start.
8000watt =240volts @ 33.3 amps will not power a electric stove 40-50 amps or electric hot water heater 40Amps Now if you have a Gas Stove & Gas Hot water Heater then you maybe ok but you will need at least a 15,000watt Gen with Elec Stove & Water Heater
