Probably the BEST real estate video in regards to the professional business side. No fluff sales tatics etc. Tremendous job and greatly appreciated. Followed you just to show my gratitude.
Extremely valuable for a new agent. Why don't brokers teach their agents this on DAY 1? Some simply make sure you can do the paperwork and then let you figure it out.
My old broker did exactly this! Assured me they would train me in the way they weren't! There were red flags from our first meeting when they slammed other agents and brokerages! Often played mind games instead of teaching me the ropes as promised. They often told me they had to teach much themselves all of what they knew. I soon figured out they had no real interest on sharing strategies, explaining contracts, etc. I was instructed by this broker to STOP WATCHING UA-cam REAL ESTATE VIDEOS!🤨 I didn't last 8 months in this dinky brokerage. I stayed too long! Terrible experience! Real estate left a bad taste in my mouth for sure!😣
I find the comment about “not taking photos with your iPhone” interesting. I understand the point you’re making but as a former photographer, it’s almost never about the equipment and almost always about the person using the equipment. I have presented better photos with my phone than some have with their 5K digital SLRs. Otherwise thanks so much for the video. I appreciate all the info and your perspectives.
Agreed, but like you said you're a "former photographer" you know what you're doing. The average agent doesn't. You have no idea how many crappy photos I see on the MLS. Homes that could have more exposure get overlooked because of shitty photos and lighting conditions. If you can take some really good pics on your phone, and have the editing skills go for it and save yourself a couple hundred bucks.
