Which suggests Morrigan may have actually shown up after all.
@@djdaem0nplays Heya, thanks for pointing that out! Thank you!
This was a really cool video! 😁😁 I knew, like, half of these things, so it was awesome to learn about the rest - the Blighted companions would've been epic, in a way, because with the amount of blood on everyone after every darkspawn fight, getting 'infected' would have been pretty much inevitable! 😁
But I do agree - the Origins we have now is a crown jewel. Cool what-ifs pondering, though!
Thanks for making this, I will definitely check out your other vids! 😊
And thank you for watching!!
Thnx for made this video!
Thank you for watching!
So… Sten couldn’t have horns because of graphical issues, but Desire demons could go the full-mile? I think somebody grew a little lazy…
I think the problem with Sten was that he has to be able to wear helmets, and they probably couldn't make the helmets work properly with horns
In game you're referred as a commoner if you're a mage. I'm sure they used some fo said assets n lines for the class. Which means you could have maybe had a commoner warrior n a noble mage
Great video, I love your sense of humour 😀 👏
Awhh thank you! 😃
Desire demon has horns but couldn’t get it working for Sten rip
As she had said in many other responses, Sten has to wear helmets, whereas Desire Demons don't
@@SeventhheavenDK I hadn’t read the other responses but it’s all good that makes sense.
I'm not even going to lie to you I really did want that human commoner origin. I never felt comfortable being a human Noble when everyone else has humble beginnings
How the hell did you get alistair in the fade in Inquisition
What mod was that?
It's not a mod! :D It actually depends on your world state. If Alistair is not made king in DAO and lives/does not leave your party by the end of the game, he will show up as a Warden in Inquisition!
@@LisaLynnsTavern how do you change the world state, asking cause trying to import the save from origins and 2 seems impossible
@@Saiyangoddess72 to change the world state you have to register your console on the dragon keep website then after you put your choices from dao an d2 there you can put thoses choices in inquisition.
The thing about how the desire demons were intended to be androgynous is interesting, I definitely would have preferred that. I was roleplaying my Warden as a gay guy and was kinda like "you have no power over me, sexy Fade monster".
But then I ended up romancing Morrigan, so. Swings and roundabouts.
Yeah it certainly would've made sense, desire can be many things and not everyone desires the same thing.
Hey I heard the Morrigan romance is really good, especially when it gets complicated towards the end with the Dark ritual and all
Sera was never quite an agreeable girl,
Her tongue tells tales of fireballs~
If you are playing a mage and casting fireballs that hurt of kill your companions in the dragon age games means you are a irresponsible mage
I'm a very responsible mage, I promise! 😇
I enjoyed this vid (and the one covering Dragon Age 2). Thank you for taking the time to research, produce, and upload these interesting vids. I also like your voice...though obviously not a native english speaker you are remarkably good at it. Your vocal style reminded me of a vid I saw long ago (and loved) presenting an animated history of opera. I just found it here...check it out if you are interested. ua-cam.com/video/pH_rm2ukE8g/v-deo.html
Thank you, I appreciate it!! Glad you enjoyed them :)
Good thing they kept the desire demon like it is. It todays woke world they would probably change her. There is a reason she wasnt in Inquisition.
Technically there is a desire demon in DAI lol he just looks like a regular man. Desire doesn't have to just mean sexual desire.
@@BoxOKittens excuse me ITS CHOICE SPIRIT
@@garycannon4644 lol
@@BoxOKittens Nah he embodies what all men secretly desire the most.
@@fenrisvermundr2516 ?? yeah, and? Your reply makes no sense lol
I have heard that the Wynne alerting Greagoir thing IS playable without mods. As for betraying Morrigan to Greagoir after the circle quest, i've done it during an "EVIL WARDEN" playthrough that I streamed on twitch. The only mods I used were cosmetic (as you can see Sten as a horned Qunari). Here's the footage of how it plays out.

Oh, and she does in fact leave the party after this. She doesn't reappear until she makes her "offer" the night before the final battle. Also, that little dog she transforms into just so happens to be the same kind of dog that you can sometimes find sitting next to Sten in some endings. Which suggests Morrigan may have actually shown up after all.
@@djdaem0nplays Heya, thanks for pointing that out! So, from what I've seen and read, it seems that the dialogue option to tell the Templars about Morrigan being an apostage is bugged in the vanilla, unpatched version of the game. I think that might be the case for the Wynne/bloodmage thing as well, that's probably why they are listed as ''cut content''. I looked into it a bit more and I found a video that talks about the Morrigan betrayal:

@@LisaLynnsTavern I also just checked all my mods to be 100% sure, and one of the active ones was a story bug fix mod. I got it specifically to correct the Jowan storyline bug, but it probably fixed whatever stops this from triggering for most people as well.
Incidentally, the "Jowan bug" is a quest that is supposed to pop up during the third act if Jowan survives Redcliffe Castle. You find him under a new name, protecting innocent people from Darkspawn, and have one last opportunity to face him or let him go.
I wasn't sure if I captured footage of the final Jowan quest, but luckily I highlighted it while streaming my attempt to solo all three DA games.

Ah, that explains it then!
And yeahh I remember watching a clip of that cutscene a while back, it's a nice little quest, especially if you played the Circle mage origin
