- After many failed attempts at treatment, Sarah decided to try a new approach with the help of Whitney Feichtner, a nurse practitioner at St. Luke’s Brain & Spine Center. During their first meeting, they discussed the medications and treatments Sarah had tried. Whitney let her know she was a candidate for receiving Botox injections as a treatment option. In the first month, her headaches decreased by 30-40 percent. And in less than a year of receiving Botox, she now has some months where she doesn’t even have one migraine.
What was the treatment
hello -- treatment was Botox
@@Stlukes-stl Botox is helpful for maybe only 15-20% of patients with migraine. For the rest it does nothing. I've tried, didn't help.
