Just a tip when connecting the new plug twist it in the the housing as is was before (with the halogen) you left the wires hanging and can get condensation in there. Peace of mind.
I actually just bought these same side markers and about to do this mod for my silver c6. Just put on some black zr1 replica wheels, and also plan on blacking out the tail lights. Thanks for the tutorial!
Thanks for the info i got same ones you got for my black z06 im actually thinking on using a paint gun and clear coat like you use on car with very little black paint and spray stock ones like a tint but much higher quality until I decide what to do with them Im from burnsville mn originally now out near Seattle Again thanks for info
You did it the hard way. All you have to do is pry out the old lights. The plastic is usually so brittle the retainers just break off. I just did this on my 06 and did all 4 in under 20 minutes. That said, this is THE BEST $100 mod for a C6!. These are so bright they will light up the car next to you on the highway.
