Fantastic creation! I love that you are creating a deep dish to go with the grill. It makes small scale Dutch oven cooking a real possibility. What’s more fun than hanging around camp cooking delicious meals.❤
This looks great! I would like to see a dent on one side to accommodate ventilation or the temp meter cable. Rotating the lid 180 degrees could close the dent if needed. Same system as the petromax Dutch Ovens😊
I also agree for longer cooking ingredients. But I think because of its smaller size and faster cooking times in general, this cast iron should be fine without one. I'll be searching those Petromax cast iron pans. Thanks!
As you continue to develop these tools, I find that it requires revamping my car camping "kitchen" box completely! The great thing is, I can see paring down quite a bit, since there are so many applications for everything! This results in a much smaller "kitchen" box. Every Firebox Stove bit of gear I've used is absolutely superb, and we're not talking just burgers and hot dogs here, but things like spatchcocked piri piri game hens, yakitori, French bistro foods, Thai foods, and so forth. The only thing I'd ask for is a Tagine top that would fit on the round pan. With that, a decent cook could create anything, anywhere!
These cast iron pans look awesome! I just restored a rusty cast iron pan that I’ve had for a long time and I’ve really enjoyed using it lately. Will definitely be looking into these. Everything I have from Firebox has been very good quality. I expect these will be the same. Thanks for all the great products and the awesome videos.

Oh man those vegetables looked perfect! A nice plump Cornish game hen would cook up in that I bet, grouse or pheasant too! I think two small and one large would be a great set. The only thing I can think to add would be a lightweight lid that can double as an eating platter kind of like the billy pot.
You have this dialed in pretty well, even with all of the moving parts. The thickness and depth are perfect for their respective uses. I especially like how the cookware fits securely on top of the stove. Nicely done. Now I am starving.

You can "carve out" a small pinhole opening to insert a thermometer to take temps on the deep pans lips edge. The pinhole opening would also allow the cooking ingredients to vent/steam some.

Amazing as always! The only thing I can think of as an addition would be two "dents" half-way deep to lock a rod. It could be used to rotate any meat or veggies as they get smoked or as something else is being cooked underneath. The rod could be cylindrical or it could be square-shaped on one side so it gets locked in and allows to manually rotate or manipulate the desired content. It could also be used to secure in place an eventual second grill, maximizing the use of space inside the pan. I hope my feedback helps somehow. Big fan of your content as always!

That deep roaster is great! I would have cooked the roast like with a Dutch oven and put some coals on top, too. I bet it would have cut a couple hours off the cook time. You should try some BBQ ribs in it. Put down a layer of sliced onions and peppers as a trivet, then cut some baby back ribs to fit, season with your favorite rub, place on top of the veggie trivet. Pour some dark beer in to about 1/2" on the bottom (Guiness is a good one), then cover the meat with your favorite BBQ sauce. Put on Firebox with coals on top for a cook temp around 350F - should take about 3 hours to get fall-off-the-bone goodness.
Not yet, we will launch them with a Kickstarter campaign where they will be available at a discount for early adopters. I just keep seeing buying options as shallow, deep, 2 shallow, shallow and deep or 2 shallow and a deep as bundle options. I’d still like to see a steamer rack with the box pot as well for additional options when cooking.
@@fireboxstove I’d like optional steamer racks for the Billy pots. You can have either or but not both. And there is no option for the one quart. I’m single so that is the size I would use most. If I got the 2 Qt Billy so I could bake, I’d like the option of an additional pan for steaming. Same with the 3 qt.

We don't have it up yet, we are working on it. We will notify everyone via email and you can join our email list here: foldingfirebox.us7.list-manage.com/subscribe?u=099d20da9ae7679cde446143c&id=fe30a4f86c if you aren't already on it so you're up to date on when this product is available for preorder.
Eu também gosto de ver você fazendo comida
When will all of this new products be available for purchase??
We are hoping for the end of this year, beginning of next year. We will do a preorder kickstarter for them as well.
Looks amazing. Is it hard to clean? Will you make a carry pouch for it?
We are working on a carry case for it and a handle that has the grill shape in one end for efficiently cleaning the grill.
2:32 "Steve developed a wonderful system for doing the garlic. Sliced so it liquefies in the pan in a little bit of oil."
Those who watched "Goodfellas" know this, lol!
Nice Cooking Vlog.
Thank you 😊
The two square pans, are they cast iron? Are these pans possibly for sale on website or kickstarter in future? ⚡👍⚡

@@fireboxstove already signed. THANK you
That deep roaster is great!
Sounds utterly delicious!! We'll have to give that a try. Thank you for your support and comment! 😁
Hard to get these stoves in the UK.. 😢
We ship to the UK regularly. You could also ask your stockist to reach out to us to place an order for you.
Is the cast iron grill and pot available for sale yet?
Not yet, we will launch them with a Kickstarter campaign where they will be available at a discount for early adopters. To be sure you don't miss any announcements You may want to sign up on our email list, here's a link:

Love that new cast iron rig. Where's Levi?
Levi is having health issues and most likely won't be back out on the trail sadly.
@@fireboxstove That's sad news, hope Levi recovers soon and is able to enjoy a long, lazy, well-earned retirement.
When will they be available?
It'll be 3 or so months before we can have all the accessories online and in production 👍😎
I just keep seeing buying options as shallow, deep, 2 shallow, shallow and deep or 2 shallow and a deep as bundle options.
I’d still like to see a steamer rack with the box pot as well for additional options when cooking.
Thank you for the suggestion and comment, we sure appreciate it. 😁
Cinamon rolls, cornerstone of any nutricious breakfast.
Lol indeed, it's very true! 😁
What happened to your other goat? Always great to see your adventures. Peace. Ps..hope your injured (foot?) is better looks like it.
I think my foot feeling better all the time. Still pretty sore at the end of a long day.
Because of multiple blockages Levi had his urinary tract rerouted out the back which makes it difficult to put a pack on him. I have some ideas and hope to get him back on the trail soon.
I hope Levi rebounds! You stay healthy too. Peace. Your fishing/camping adventures are great-especially for a fellow dad.
Aww nice👍🏻
Thank you! 😁
When can i get my hands on those cast iron pans?
We will have a kickstarter for them in January. We will announce the release date via email. Make sure you're on that list here: foldingfirebox.us7.list-manage.com/subscribe?u=099d20da9ae7679cde446143c&id=fe30a4f86c
Will these be sold together or separate?? Im sold
Both! I plan on having them available separately as well as a combo kit which will be the best value. Be sure to sign up on our email list so you don't miss any announcements. There's a link in the description 👍😎 Thanks so much!
Let me know when the new gear is available on your website, Steve. I'll be among the first in line!
We will for sure!! Are you on our email list for updates? You can sign up here: foldingfirebox.us7.list-manage.com/subscribe?u=099d20da9ae7679cde446143c&id=fe30a4f86c.
I forbid my fish in.
See you later Pan for a oil.
They turned out perfect.

That’s a nice compact Dutch oven. One more thing I need! I should just send you my pension check 😂
Lol it's great to hear you enjoy our gear so much!! 😁 thank you for the support!
Your meals have changed over the years from trout and shredded frozen potatoes to steak and cinnamon buns.... with the occasional lemon cake and coffee mixed in.
Lol, all delicious things!! Thanks for the comment and for watching. 😁
Cool thing is that you can flip the entire cooker if you want to rotate the heat.
Good point! Thanks!
I need that cast iron box with the rack. Man that looks delish.
Thank you, we plan to have them out soon. Hopefully by the beginning of next year. 😊
Once the cast iron version is available, was wondering if a carbon steel version would be light, quick heating and smooth.
Steve Despain 100% extraterrestrial.
Cheers!
Lol! E.T. me... E.T.👍🤣
I guess, maybe someday. I'll ask my foundry if they do any other materials but a lot of people love cast iron and steel would still be heavy. Seems like a very small niche. I'll look into it 👍😎
Won’t cook the same as cast iron. Will be almost as heavy.
Faster heating rate, saves on fuel, wood, great for smoothness and great for certain meats ie steak, sausages, searing. @@mlaiuppa
Take my money! 😂
Soon, very soon!! 🤣
Square pan with a folding handle?? what is this beast?? near the beginning of the video
There isn't a folding handle on the pan, but there will be a device to take the kids off and move the cast iron around. 😁
No the aluminum thing that you have your lemon cake in. ???
@@danlibby8366I think that’s part of the new Fire Box-Pot shipping in February. I think it goes with the Firebox Scout or Nano.
Be perfect for an apple cobbler!
Maybe I'll try that next! 👍😎
I would have added a 12 oz Budweiser to the pan for the last hour of cooking.
That would have been a delicious addition! 😋
02:42 it would be more comfortable if you use a smaller knife.
Come on Steve…get these out already, I am ready to buy!
I too have been able to downsize my kitchen kit and I am ready to get these seasoned up for this Fall camp season that is upon us.
Lol we sure are hurrying!! We hope to have them available for kickstarter at the end of the year and then on the site as soon as possible. 😁 thank you for the support!
Olá boa tarde amigo seus vídeos e show
Thank you!! 😁
Maggie is getting so pretty
Yes! I think so too!
Halo bro I from India 🇮🇳 🇮🇳🙏🙏
What an appetite! You must have a hollow leg!
Lol most likely. That and hiking so much requires lots of calories. 😁
That's apple turnovers ready
Sounds yummy!
I’m not interested in using for baking just cooking…
