Apparently that is why they call it Fishing and not Catching Fish , which is my case most of the time. It would appear that you were trying to put two tons on a one ton truck but the little Nano's can fool you. I have the titanium Nano ( as a Ultra light Backpacking stove ) and really like it.
That looked mighty tasty. Amazing how much that bag holds - I may need to add the bag and cast iron pan to my kit. So what’s involved in getting a 107 drone license? My license is for much larger rotorcraft but I guess that’s not good enough for a little drone 😆 Good to see you cooking again!
The Part 107 should be easy for you since you have experience. FAA provides you with everything you need to study, it’s not much compared to all the other licenses. Many people have had trouble with it because of the flight operations section (i.e. section cart reading, airspace, etc.). I found out during the training that if you are using drone video/clips on a monetized channel it falls under Part 107. I don’t think the FAA is currently chasing down UA-camrs but who know what will happen in the future. It just takes one silly incident for them to start cracking down on it. Good luck! Thanks for watching and cheers!
@@offcourseoutdoors8366 So is it just a matter of taking the 107 written at a testing center - no oral or check ride (I guess practical since you can’t ride in a drone) with the FAA? Would be nice to have, not that I have to worry about monetization 😆
Well that looked absolutely delicious, even with the backup can alternative. I have watched a few of your videos and really enjoyed them .... a couple of suggestions .... you might find using a bamboo wok brush to clean the cast iron cookware a complimentary accessory for your cook kit. Also when I hike with rigged fishing rods I hate having a bow in my rod tip, so I run my line down to my reel stem then back up the rod and hang my lure to the first rung (sometimes will add one twist around the rod if it’s really long grass and snaggy) ...... this keeps the line taught, rod straight and makes navigating around vegetation really easy. Looking fwd to more of you adventures and product trials, cheers
Thanks for sharing. Really enjoyed the video. Also from Chicago. Was that lake in the Des Plaines area around Beck Lake??beautiful fall colors. ATB Mike
I'm a little far south (4 hours) but my daughter is in school in Chicago so we frequest the area. I really appreciate the diverse foodie culture of Chicago. Thanks for watching! Cheers!
I’m not sure why I said the word “Fantastic” so many times, lol, I promise to do better.

Nice 👍
Cheers!
Great idea, I will try kippered herring and eggs. Good to see you back.
Good point Mike! The nano does work well with the short 5-WAY cast iron pan running on gas or alcohol.
Totally! The nano and that cast iron pan are a match made in cooking heaven! Thanks for watching, cheers!
Good to see you back. Looking forward to more videos. Thanks for sharing

Is that the small or large windscreen?
This was the large windscreen. Cheers!

I get that, I just feel sorry for the trout in this hot weather. Thanks for watching! Cheers!
Steve would never use canned trout in a Firebox !!!! !ol....!!!!
I like it when a fellow UA-camr like yourself has all the viewable channel lineups the same as I do 😀👍
Well now... he did eat spam in his last video, so there is hope! lol Cheers!
