So I can't find a video anywhere on how to properly attach a dichroic image and stretch it out into a pendant.Would be nice to know how to use these things

***** heat the glass side of your chip lightly by waving it in the flame and moving the heat around, all while heating a gather on the end of a proper sized rod. once you have enough glass gathered and its white hot, remove it from the flame to cool to orange hot or i tiny bit less. watch the dichro on your chip, once it crackles its about ready, remove your gather to cool at this point, keeping it centered, and allow the chip to slightly start to melt, like JUST barely, and the small chips 1/2 inch or 3/4 don't deform/melt them, less heat for those sizes. slap it down on the carbon dichro side up, and press your gather onto the dichro until it spreads over the chip. If you burn it at this point let your gather cool for a few more seconds, Then use a flared 6m rod to wipe the corners and make it round, using the edge of your flame. Once it's round, out in the tip of a decent flame start to melt it all together slowly, paddle the edge of your gather and chip, or L-marver it. dont stretch it, keep it the same size, most images dont like stretching, unless you have an image that will look good this way. Hope this helps you guys!

What is in liquid stringer? I've used gum Arabic before, that works really well also. Btw, you spackle with a trowel. So I guess you'd call it troweling instead of spackling.☺
