The return of the iconic clown horn has taken me out of a deep depressive spiral. In all seriousness your UA-cam and website videos are great, and it was cool getting to see your process in making them. Your work ethic has to be insane to be a teacher and also consistently put out videos of this level of detail.
The lawyer turned historian was unexpected but makes sense. So much of being a lawyer is research and reading. Enjoyed this video and all the long format ones you’ve done. Thanks for sharing our human history with us.
Watching pro se litigants in zoom hearings really demonstrates that, even if the facts and law are on your side, having someone who can write out and present your arguments in a coherent manner can make all the difference.
I discovered you about a year ago when I was looking for a video about the Iran-Contra scandal as it was an event that really interested me. It was honestly the best video I’ve seen that really covered it well. I’ve been following you since and always look forward to all the videos you made.
I was hoping he gets naked, paints tribal symbols on his body, does a hand stand, and then types the script with his toes on the computer. That would be cool. 😎
Super excited to watch this and even more so for the Pan Am video - with Pan Am Railway being bought up two years ago the last vestiges of the brand are defunct, so what a time for a retrospective!
I absolutely ADORED this video. I'm a recent but diehard Sean Munger fan, I'm a graphic designer, so its lots of alone time, on my computer, nitpicking little things, and you are the perfect company for that. It's even better to see the behind the scenes things, the silly little tedious things like your teleprompter make me feel seen with my silly little things too, and I LOVED seeing what you see while you film, your messy desk and all the little bits on it... Thanks for the peek behind the curtain. Excited for the Pan Am video!!!
I don’t know why I was so surprised when Sean switched from the more casual behind-the-scenes voice to the fully formal presenter voice! A different but still very informative and interesting video :)
This is a video perspective that most people almost never see, when I tell people my videos take hours to edit, they don’t believe me. But it’s true, something you might just glance at in a video most likely took a while to make possible. Thank you for making this video, and keep up the high quality content!
I just started researching today on how to find pictures that are not copyrighted, and I was watching history video’s and your video popped up. Your hard work is viewed and appreciated. My co-worker worked for Pan Am, so I’m heading on over to watch your Pan Am video. 👍
I have repeatedly watched a number of your videos b/c I absolutely love them and recommend them to others I know would find the subjects interesting. I can't speak for everyone, but for me your videos are some of the best I have seen out there. Please continue to do what you do, sir!
I rarely comment anymore, but the enjoyment I have gotten out of your videos is immense. I can only hope you continue to grow larger. Larger team = more help = more videos !! Thank you, Dr. Munger. You rock.
Mr. Munger I had a collection of concert T shirts. To reduce fading, and damage to the image, I remember hand washing in cold water with a potassium based soap to facilitate thorough rinsing.
Very interesting and helpful..looking at having a lash at one myself so IL restudy it...enough about me....this content is wonderful. I've been on youtube for years and never before have I been so absorbed in a channel aside from my technical interests.... Could you take some drops for your voice? Is the aircon drying the air out?...vocal chord nodules are a risk!..thank you for the effort!
I’ve watched so many of your videos numerous times. Thank you for educating me and the audience. I also find your videos very comforting. Keep being awesome! Thanks again. ❤
I'm a Tabletop game master who likes to include historical figures in his games, and it's interesting to see how similar our process is until recording the video obviously
I'm was always consistently impressed by how quickly you are able to make incredibly well-researched deep dive videos. After watching this, I'm floored
Man, I ran a true crime podcast where i had to research and write a 4000 page script, record it, edit it, and put it out, and I kept it up for three years... But compared to this, I had it easy. Like, I knew a lot went into these videos, but this is an eye opener. Thanks for this and for everything!
I wish more of your audience gave this video a chance. It was so much more interesting than I expected. But when I think about it, it's a Dr. Munger video, of course it was going to be interesting. Thank you for the peek behind the curtain. Love the content you produce sir. All the best.
Loved the behind-the-scenes! I don't usually watch this kind of content, for reasons even I don't know, but I'm glad I branched out to give this one a go. That clown honk noise always jumpscares me for some reason
Oh man. When I saw that it was a behind the scenes on a Sean Munger video and then when I saw that it was a behind the scenes for the Pan Am one, damn.
Seeing how much of a tedious task creating these masterpieces must be for you Sean, just further increases the gratitude and appreciation I have for your content Sean, and not only that, but doing this on top of teaching classes as well. Thanks for all your hard work.
I was working as a trainer when COVID hit. When we were transitioning to distance learning I volunteered to make a couple videos students could watch in their own time before we put them in a class. I thought it would be a quick fun project. But it was sooooo much work. I really didn't even do the research since it was the same material we were already presenting. But everything else takes more work than you can really appreciate if you haven't done it. So, so many flubbed takes.
I stepped in the poop, and wear my shoes proudly ever since! The urban poop video popped in my suggestions when i came out and i have since watched every long deep dive video. Living in The Netherlands some of these old presidents don't mean to much to me but the fact that you made the video and especially all the historical context make me watch every time! Watergate was the most insightful for me since it demystified all those wacky theories i've always heard. Looking forward to the Pan Am video! I live next to Schiphol airport and my neighbors are all pilots, so planes are a big part of life here. Thanks for the insight, i laughed out loud many times seeing the struggle. All the best and cheers from Holland!
Can you do a video on American football or important moments in the World Series sometime during the fall? Doesn’t have to be this year. Thanks for the behind the scenes.
I don't remember going to that concert with you, but I'm watching, friend. LOL! I did see Tool in Gulf Port about 20 years ago. Anyway, very interesting to see your process!
The fact that your videos take so much effort, then making a video about how you make your videos, I know would have taking a LOT! of time & effort. We really appreciate it. Love your channel Mate.
What a great video! Thank you so much for all the hard work you put in to making history videos-they’re so educational and entertaining, and your channel is one of my all time favourites!
Lovely, your videos are a great resource to otherwise heavily politicized topics; especially those from before my time where I don’t have great context for the event or how it impacted someone I can relate to.
I’m currently dealing with a block while writing my masters so, having a peering into the process of one my favorite researcher/creator is like finding a trail while lost in the woods, thank you!
I have always assumed you had an editor then to see you do it all was mind blowing! I’d love to see a comparison to the original outline once the video is out.
Really excited for the Putin project, spent a good chunk of my undergrad years learning about turn-of-the-century Russian politics. Also no wonder I watch your videos on my commute home from law school.
Hey Sean! Would you maybe be able to do a deep-dive into the book “A History of Central Banking and the Enslavement of Mankind”? It’s a rather short book but truly immense. It’s a deep dive into history, and covers so many important events in history. To see you break that book down would be incredible, whether you break it down in a positive way or negative way. Since you are a historian, it would be great to see you dig into that book. You can also find the full audio-book here on UA-cam if you would prefer that. It’s way too important of a book and way too important history to remain in the darkness.
Hello! I discovered you just today and immediately subscribed!! May I ask how or where do you pictures that are okay to use in a youtube video? I will rewatch the video again to see if I missed the info the first time. Thanks
hey Dr. Munger i have been learning a lot about the 50s and 60s, but finding out information about the korean war is kind of difficult. just by searching in youtube you get many pieces but never the full story. i don’t know how you feel about covering that but it’s surprising how little coverage it is. i don’t even think i learned about it in school
Dear Sean, Have you considered the possibility of creating a video addressing the post-World War II history of Japan, with a particular emphasis on the implications of the US-Japan treaty and the televised assassination of Inejiro Asanuma on October 12, 1960? This subject matter presents a significant opportunity for insightful and thought-provoking content.
Question for John :) I have some background in research, do you have any suggestions or tips for how to get started as a UA-camr research assistant? Thanks for your time
Why did Ground News choose to not sponser this video? Not sure if you're allowed to speak on the specifics but if you can I'm very curious as to what made them not want to sponser this subject
Another blast working with you, Sean. The important work continues!
I’m a simple man. When Dr. Munger posts a video, I get comfy and absolutely LOCKED in. Always appreciate the hard work Professor! You are HIM!
He is him fr
He's that dude
Yes, the definite GOAT of history. #PutRespectOnHisName
My favorite historian showing his method? Perfect way to end a Wednesday! Keep up the amazing work Sean!
You’re a historian yes and now you are a documentarian!!! Truly iconic.
The return of the iconic clown horn has taken me out of a deep depressive spiral.

Research, reading, and writing in a persuasive manner!

Babe wake up, mr munger posted
DOCTOR!
I was hoping he gets naked, paints tribal symbols on his body, does a hand stand, and then types the script with his toes on the computer. That would be cool. 😎
People complain often enough about seeing my face, no way I'm going to take my clothes off!
@SeanMunger I like your face Mr. Munger. 😊
Super excited to watch this and even more so for the Pan Am video - with Pan Am Railway being bought up two years ago the last vestiges of the brand are defunct, so what a time for a retrospective!
I love history and your longer videos (presidential ones, the munger one, and my favourite: the fall of monarchies). Can't wait for the Panama video!
I absolutely ADORED this video. What I want to see now is a “Making of” video about how you made this “Making of” video!
It'd have to be marked adults-only as a result of all the cursing I did at the camera.
@@SeanMunger LOLZ

This is a top-notch video!!!!! Thanks, Sean!!! (Looking forward to the 24th and your Pan Am video.)
Just discovered your work a few months back and enjoy it very much.
23:19 Seeing your taste in music/shirts has given me a whole new level of respect
tbh, these sort of videos are really important. like the old forum results that would pop up on google.
I've never been more obsessed with this channel then anything on UA-cam
"oh there's a graph, yikes" that made me laughing 😂 thanls for sharing your process. very cool
I just started researching today on how to find pictures that are not copyrighted, and I was watching history video’s and your video popped up. Your hard work is viewed and appreciated. My co-worker worked for Pan Am, so I’m heading on over to watch your Pan Am video. 👍
Great seeing your process. I'll have to steal a few of these ideas! Thanks Sean.
This is UNbelievable. I would never in a million years have imagined how much work goes into these. Mad respect for all that you (and your team) do!!
It is a lot of work!
Sean is the Iron Maiden of History UA-cam
I have repeatedly watched a number of your videos b/c I absolutely love them and recommend them to others I know would find the subjects interesting. I can't speak for everyone, but for me your videos are some of the best I have seen out there. Please continue to do what you do, sir!
This is very cool. Most content creators wouldn't (or haven't) done this, but it's cool to see the process behind any creative endeavor.
I rarely comment anymore, but the enjoyment I have gotten out of your videos is immense. I can only hope you continue to grow larger. Larger team = more help = more videos !! Thank you, Dr. Munger. You rock.

I really enjoyed the video, it's great to see how the sausage is made. Keep up the good work!

Love this little sneak peek behind the scenes. love your channel, love the videos.
Sean Munger just dropped 🎉🎉
I’ve watched so many of your videos numerous times. Thank you for educating me and the audience. I also find your videos very comforting. Keep being awesome! Thanks again. ❤

Since you are primarily a historian, your videos turn out fantastic. I really enjoy them.
Your videos are excellent, especially about WW l and the monarchies
I don't remember going to that concert with you, but I'm watching, friend. LOL! I did see Tool in Gulf Port about 20 years ago. Anyway, very interesting to see your process!
So so much work goes to these videos. Seeing the effort makes me appreciate these stories even more.
The fact that your videos take so much effort, then making a video about how you make your videos, I know would have taking a LOT! of time & effort. We really appreciate it. Love your channel Mate.
What is the go-pro model that you are using?
It's a Hero something or other. Hero 777? Sounds like a plane. I've had my head in planes for weeks.
What a great video! Thank you so much for all the hard work you put in to making history videos-they’re so educational and entertaining, and your channel is one of my all time favourites!
These musical selections offer a scrumptious melody! Shout out to all the behind the sceners. Bravo 🇨🇦
Don’t know how much longer I can hold off, the allure of a new sean munger video keeps dragging me to UA-cam.
The new one will be out today, in only a few hours. The post-production stuff is almost done.
Lovely, your videos are a great resource to otherwise heavily politicized topics; especially those from before my time where I don’t have great context for the event or how it impacted someone I can relate to.
Calling Pan Am primarily non political is a wild take.
Love the channel, and learning from yah! That was just some light ribbing.
i love your videos, so excited to see this break down!
I’m currently dealing with a block while writing my masters so, having a peering into the process of one my favorite researcher/creator is like finding a trail while lost in the woods, thank you!
Love it. As a video post producer, I always love to see someone's process!
oh shiiiit Im early! this isn't something I'd normally watch, but I love your content so much, that this interests me to no end. thankyou!
As I friend here said "I have a hunger for Sean Munger".
Excellent quality as always dr.Munger.
Thank you for making this video!
It is awesome to see how a pro puts their videos together.
The internet is a hat store and your one of my favorite salesmen, thanks for sharing your process.
Loved the office tour! Not many would be brave enough to share all that online. Sick keyboard.
A long format video about how he makes long format videos. Works for me.
Sean, you make my life better. Thank you.
Your Videos and style were an instant hit with me, good stuff keep up the good work.
Thanks for the uploads!
That was really cool!
Looking forward to the next video!
Hi Sean! Much respect from one Libra to another.
Your work is awesome Sean!
Very nice, I'm excited for the coming video and thanks for this
Holy smokes, that's a lot of work. Very inspiring. Great video to see a peek into the process.
Great video, as always. I really loved this look behind the curtain.
I have always assumed you had an editor then to see you do it all was mind blowing! I’d love to see a comparison to the original outline once the video is out.
i love the bts look at the channel. also i just got daniel vanished. im excited to start it!
Very insightful!
The choice of shirts, fantastic. *chefs kiss*
Really excited for the Putin project, spent a good chunk of my undergrad years learning about turn-of-the-century Russian politics.

This is pure story telling.
step one - locate death metal band shirt
Thoughts on creating a reccommended read/book list?
Right on, brother!
15:15 my god, the triumphant return of the clown horn arrow
New Sean munger? As always fuck yes
never thought i’d get this video but i did 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️

Nothing to do with the content. All advertising is a numbers game. They may well return as a sponsor for future videos.
I'm actually excited to hear about the fall of Pan Am My mom knows quite a bit about them
Thanks a lot for sharing this
