A visit to the striking colors of the Painted Hills Unit, part of the John Day Fossil Bed National Monument in central Oregon. The Painted Hills are decorated with an array of reds, browns and yellows. Also visited the Clarno Unit of the John Day Fossil Bed National Monument.
