Tsukihime, more specifically, it's manga, has a special connection to me because not only was it my first real venture to the Nasuverse, but Tsukihime, alongside 3 other franchises (Dragon Ball, Sonic, Sword Art Online), were what got me into anime and anime-like and anime related content as a WHOLE. Hell, if I'm being honest, out of the 4 franchises I've listed, Tsukihime to me at least is the one that has the highest standard for writing. The fact that I've only really read the Arc route via the manga (I guess I saw walkthroughs of the remake as well but like, I only saw a machine translated walkthrough for Arc fully which...well, isn't exactly of high quality to say the least) and I'm saying this is a testament for how good just ONE of the routes are.
Regarding the Nasuverse, Tsukihime being my first venture into it is funny to me because I'm a pretty young fellow (was born 7 years after the original VN came out) and I only really got into anime/anime related stuff by 2019-2020 which was when I would get into Tsukihime as well. A reason why I think this is pretty funny is because by that time, there is NUMEROUS Fate related content for a more casual person like me to get into and yet my first experience with the Nasuverse is none other than Tsuki-fucking-hime.

Crazy to think just how much passion was behind this story which is apparent to this very day by both its creators and fans. Seeing promotion for the Remake in local stores is so unbelievable and a testament to how far TM has come. There is so much passion in your voice that I'm sure will get more people into it through this video. Spread the word!

Maaan i really love Tsukihime, it was one of my first VNs and i don't know why but Tsukihime gives me a unique "home" feeling.
I love it's pros and cons and while i can agree that FSN is better objectively, Tsukihime just hits that spot. I hope that this localized remake announcement/release gets it's popularity blown

I love both buy It's a matter of taste. Fate is more philosophical, while Tsukihime is has the advantage of the atmosphere and how it portrays the horrors of fighting the supernatural, as well as being more mystery driven. This is even better in the Remake. I'm sure Nasu completely changed things in Red Garden he is going to completely blow our minds...

I remember shedding tears after I saw the Anime Expo trailer for the English release, after (soon to be) 24 years, we're finally getting an official western release of Tsukihime which (like Mahoyo's western release) will hopefully open doors to official releases for Stay Night and Hollow Ataraxia and other TYPE-MOON works. Very excited and hopeful for the future, I hope this means that the Far Side remake will release simultaneously in Japan and in the west like Mahoyo's remaster did.

just preordered my limited copy today, hearing you said how much joy you got from seeing the remake announcement gave me massive FOMO for not being a fan earlier. I did read the original Tsukihime after hearing it was getting a remake, after I finished, I IMMEDIATELY tried to order A piece of blue glass moon (it was released by the time I finished the original, I'm not from Japan, so getting my hand on one copy is difficult enough). I was sad I couldn't get the limited edition of the JP version, but now I can get the ENG counterpart. This video showed me the feeling of what being a OG TYPE-MOON fan would be like. Thank you Manpig. And please everyone, if you can, please please please get the English version, it'll show TYPE-MOON that investing in the Western market is worth it. My hope is that the Far side routes remake will get the English release along with the Japanese. Please make it happen.

The OG Tsukihime was hands down one of the best piece of fiction I've ever read. It was one of those stupidly edgy and dark story I've read by the dozens (Saya no Uta is still haunting me today), but in a so oniric, dreamlike exposition I could this time find beauty in the bleak setting. Tsukihime is a hardcore dark romance story, with the accent put equally on the dark and romance parts. No matter which route you choose (even if my 2 favorites are Hisui bad ending and Arcueid normal ending), you follow the love story of 2 monsters, 2 beings born wrongly, in the wrong place, at the wrong time, but still wanting nothing more than ordinary happiness.

Tsuki is also my favorite. The Remake is such an amazing work. It really showcased the full power TM has cultivated over the years, giving us a one of a kind experience that has created so much hype and expectation for that side of the verse. Remakes rarely get done right but this was one of the few and the passion and reverence for the story and characters they put into it was felt. It fleshed out what was already kino and expanded on every facet of the series while setting the groundwork for a much wider setting revolving around the Vampires, Oni/Mixed-Bloods, Demon Hunters and Holy Church. It's great to see these elements has a place to really flourish finally since they're some of the very coolest TM has to offer. I really favor the Tsuki setting since it's the "present/future" focusing around inhuman and human interaction where everyone is some sort of monster(Even the humans!). Even as an old fan, the Remake managed to capture the same spirit while delivering something fresh. For those worried about it only being 1/3rd(if even?) of the routes, I'd say it's already the uncontested peak of the company. It's a complete package with 60+ hours of content. I can't overstate how good it is or how intriguing for old fans all the new plot elements and foreshadowing are. It's mind boggling to think how dense but focused the story feels. Whether you like god tier romance, action, philosophy, horror, mystery or just amazing prose and character writing there is something for you. Hopefully people support it since it's like you said, if we want variety and for this to continue then we got to show there is a market.

Full of both charming and complex characters, unique abilities, diffrent spins on existing tropes and a great story.

It's existence as a eroge necessitated certain... scenes that take away from the great story and characters and actively harms them.

this is just me but what drew me into Fate were servants and the whole concept of summoning them, which in the latest year has been ignored only to add Tsukihime character or mahoyo...in fate grand order, it felt at least to me like reading was shoved down my throat, and i seriously dont want that, when my favorite character from all of the Nasu verse is treated like a freaking joke and punching bag, was replaced by Nasu in a major story-line to add a other character, and doesnt get any new info...the other reasons are maybe that most character design suck to me and I have adhd which makes me keeping focus without a hyperfixation on something that interests me hard...so Im not doing Nasu this favour... at least for the time being

As for if it'll happen, I think it likely will, and as for how they'd do it my guess is similar to how Ufotable handled Fate. First they did Fate/Zero, and then they followed up with UBW, but treated it more as a "sequel to Fate/Zero" rather than just a straight adaptation of the VN. Then, after UBW, the rewound and handled HF the same way. They probably would have done all three routes, starting with Fate, if it wasn't for F/sn 2006.
So my guess is they'll handle the Tsuki:re timeline the same way: first the "prequel", Mahoyo, which they're currently doing the movie for, and then they'll probably adapt Tsuki:re one route at a time, treating it largely as a set of "branching Mahoyo sequels" like they did with Fate. Though that's admittedly just speculation mixed with a bit of wishful thinking on my part.
