Tsukihime, more specifically, it's manga, has a special connection to me because not only was it my first real venture to the Nasuverse, but Tsukihime, alongside 3 other franchises (Dragon Ball, Sonic, Sword Art Online), were what got me into anime and anime-like and anime related content as a WHOLE. Hell, if I'm being honest, out of the 4 franchises I've listed, Tsukihime to me at least is the one that has the highest standard for writing. The fact that I've only really read the Arc route via the manga (I guess I saw walkthroughs of the remake as well but like, I only saw a machine translated walkthrough for Arc fully which...well, isn't exactly of high quality to say the least) and I'm saying this is a testament for how good just ONE of the routes are. Regarding the Nasuverse, Tsukihime being my first venture into it is funny to me because I'm a pretty young fellow (was born 7 years after the original VN came out) and I only really got into anime/anime related stuff by 2019-2020 which was when I would get into Tsukihime as well. A reason why I think this is pretty funny is because by that time, there is NUMEROUS Fate related content for a more casual person like me to get into and yet my first experience with the Nasuverse is none other than Tsuki-fucking-hime.
Crazy to think just how much passion was behind this story which is apparent to this very day by both its creators and fans. Seeing promotion for the Remake in local stores is so unbelievable and a testament to how far TM has come. There is so much passion in your voice that I'm sure will get more people into it through this video. Spread the word!

I love both buy It's a matter of taste. Fate is more philosophical, while Tsukihime is has the advantage of the atmosphere and how it portrays the horrors of fighting the supernatural, as well as being more mystery driven. This is even better in the Remake. I'm sure Nasu completely changed things in Red Garden he is going to completely blow our minds...
I remember shedding tears after I saw the Anime Expo trailer for the English release, after (soon to be) 24 years, we're finally getting an official western release of Tsukihime which (like Mahoyo's western release) will hopefully open doors to official releases for Stay Night and Hollow Ataraxia and other TYPE-MOON works. Very excited and hopeful for the future, I hope this means that the Far Side remake will release simultaneously in Japan and in the west like Mahoyo's remaster did.

Thank you Manpig. And please everyone, if you can, please please please get the English version, it'll show TYPE-MOON that investing in the Western market is worth it. I just got mine few days ago, after AX 2024 ended. And I absolutely adore the game. After how long the remake was shut with curtains, I know with its fate (lol). Everything from the moment 2020 ended- so much forgetten media of type moon works are now getting translation. First teh remake but now the official translation of Fate/Stay night, THE visual novel for being locked behind region/languages barrier and for the anime adaptations. But now- any one can be a type moon fan
The OG Tsukihime was hands down one of the best piece of fiction I've ever read. It was one of those stupidly edgy and dark story I've read by the dozens (Saya no Uta is still haunting me today), but in a so oniric, dreamlike exposition I could this time find beauty in the bleak setting. Tsukihime is a hardcore dark romance story, with the accent put equally on the dark and romance parts. No matter which route you choose (even if my 2 favorites are Hisui bad ending and Arcueid normal ending), you follow the love story of 2 monsters, 2 beings born wrongly, in the wrong place, at the wrong time, but still wanting nothing more than ordinary happiness.
Tsuki is also my favorite. The Remake is such an amazing work. It really showcased the full power TM has cultivated over the years, giving us a one of a kind experience that has created so much hype and expectation for that side of the verse. Remakes rarely get done right but this was one of the few and the passion and reverence for the story and characters they put into it was felt. It fleshed out what was already kino and expanded on every facet of the series while setting the groundwork for a much wider setting revolving around the Vampires, Oni/Mixed-Bloods, Demon Hunters and Holy Church. It's great to see these elements has a place to really flourish finally since they're some of the very coolest TM has to offer. I really favor the Tsuki setting since it's the "present/future" focusing around inhuman and human interaction where everyone is some sort of monster(Even the humans!). Even as an old fan, the Remake managed to capture the same spirit while delivering something fresh. For those worried about it only being 1/3rd(if even?) of the routes, I'd say it's already the uncontested peak of the company. It's a complete package with 60+ hours of content. I can't overstate how good it is or how intriguing for old fans all the new plot elements and foreshadowing are. It's mind boggling to think how dense but focused the story feels. Whether you like god tier romance, action, philosophy, horror, mystery or just amazing prose and character writing there is something for you. Hopefully people support it since it's like you said, if we want variety and for this to continue then we got to show there is a market.
While there are a lot of problems with the original Tsukihime. The high points are so astronomically amazing I'll forgive the flaws. Scenes like the final day of Akiha route is something I'll never forget. I'm excited for remake official release

While I'm glad Type Moon is officially localizing Mahoyo and Tsukihime, I still heavily personally doubt they'll do another Fate VN, one made for localization. Fate is too ingrained in gacha/anime culture.
While a remake might not be made, I think the chances they'll translate their original game isn't zero anymore, though it would be a step down from their recent offerings

Im trying to get as many people as i know to do so. Mostly having results with recommending the manga tho 😅
Just remember to remind them that the manga only adapts a fifth of the story!
@@EbullientSMP at the very least I would not see them put the same amount of effort they would put in the Tsukihime remake
I want you
I’m only in typemoon for Fate, I don’t have any real interest in the other works like Tsukihime, KnK, or the others.
Tried KnK, got two movies in and dropped it. I couldn’t follow any of what in the hell was going on.
KnK is infamously confusing in itself because it's told out of order, it makes sense as you go on
Tsukihime is fully linear, told in a convenetional manner
I'd highly recommen giving a shot, you're missing out on some premiere stories
@@EbullientSMP
I think I’ll just wait for the Fate Extra remake. Tamamo’s route is the main reason I’m interested in it.
Whatd u say its called?
Tuh-
Tuhsooka Hahme?

Girls' Work. I recommend watching my Forgotten Type-Moon works video to get an idea about it
@@EbullientSMP thanks man
I have lol
console only, no pc port?
Not yet
mahoyo will be releasing on steam soon, and an japanese pc port of tsukire was anounced, so...
I hope that will happen, beacause the console versions wont be releasing in europe ;_;
@@JastrzabTrzeci I wasn't aware of that. I hope they get the distribution issues worked out because that is absolutely a hype killer.
