Reward for destroying a brand?? Golden parachute
all i learned is that its ok to unalive your detractors if you're the ceo of a big company
Too little, too late but adding insult to injury, he will get a golden parachute package.
Don't worry, The FAA will ask Boeing if everything fixed, Boeing will say yes, and its fixed. Just like when the 2 Max crashed.
Why do i get the feeling is because this supposed regulation is the reason why boeing will continue to do what they do. After all thier very connected..goverment wise and recive incentives and lobbying power.
After he uses up all of his sick days....
8 weeks of vacation... And gets his Christmas bonus.... !!!
Whoever would have thought that Boeing moving their corporate hq halfway across the country from their manufacturing facilities could possibly have resulted in them losing track of their quality control? Huh!!
Steps down at the End of the Year lol.
The government has huge interest is making sure boeing does not go bankrupt. Conflicting interests always bring out the worst of any government…
Look over here! Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
Pathetic. They’re not even trying. Something a child would do.
Frankly, he and his accountant buddies should have been told to collect their belongings in cardboard boxes and escorted to the street by security. That's what Boeing does with whistleblowers.
He ought to step behind the chemical shed...
They are running away...
Just leave. You’ve done enough damage
Boeing needs a CEO has engineering degree not another bean counter.
Where is that yawning emoji when you need him the most ?
A string of scary incidents? Only one was plug door, all others was maintenance.
No mention of the whistleblower that was shot the day before testifying?
He sounds like Dwight Schrute when he was acting manager.
He should be sent to prison.
Funny how the people responsible are just now stepping down right after the Whistleblower was whacked.
Muilenburg got a golden parachute.
Calhoun will also get a golden parachute.
Question is
How many people will die in crashes with the new CEO on the job?
Exactly
Sell your stock NOW.
You know what they should do? Pay the mechanics more. Then aviation would be Safer. Right now more airlines pay like half what a plumber or electrician makes. And we do a hell of a lot more than both of those jobs
So you think the kind of manufacturing quality that Boeing employees have displayed recently should be rewarded with MORE pay?! Let me know how that works out for you!
The company should package MAX as a subscription service for airlines because MAX is advanced AI software. The subscription model would scale quality and safety for the MAX. The CEO should stay on for two more years or so.
Why is Calhoun walking away with a golden parachute. He should give back his incentives from the past four years. What value did he add? Corporate America rewards for failure. Time to claw back some of those incentives. Fire the board as well for the clown show.
chicken
Oh yes stepping down to avoid the accountability of killing a whistleblower.
Good
