Thank you so much ma'am, you have eased my worries a little but what's most frustrating to me now is how do I even convince my family to bet on me to pursue psychology as a humanities student. They take every opportunity to make me regret not taking science in the first place, and with these new and NOW DELETED (ugh) guidelines I find myself questioning if it's even worth it anymore. I am currently in B. Des. first year and wanting to take a drop to prepare next year cuet and get into a BA Hons. course but due to this mess I fear that I will regret that decision as well. *sighs*
I am sorry for your experience but I will tell you something radical; you have two ears to let in and let out. Be unashamed, determined, and assured that problems you are facing now, you will face these as a psychologist in more intense form no matter which branch you choose.
Hello ma'am, i did ba English hons and was planning to prepare for cuet pg psychology i wanted to pusure ma in clinical psychology in the year 2025 , now would i not be eligible to do so ??
No. If you are already doing a 4 year BA Psychology, then you can get into MA Clinical Psychology. But if you are yet to get started, then you cannot pursue BSc clincal psychology without 10+2 in science. Should that disappoint you? Are you disappointed you cannot be a pstchiatrist? No. You can still pursue clincal psychology as a future academician or any other domains of psychology. Again, the criteria MIGHT change too if RCI thinks 🥹🤣 💯
@@LindaAshok thank you for your reply ma'am. I was planning to appear for cuet pg 2025 with a hope that I will be able to do 2yrs master in clinical psychology but I have done graduation in ba hons english I think I won't be able to apply for clinical psychology masters anymore.... Btw ma'am I really admire the way you talk and explain so fluently and creatively...

Okay.. Thanks a lot for this video but still I need some clarity: I would request you to please tell me would this be okay ? I am B. Com (Hon.) graduate Now, I am thinking about pursuing MA in Psychology (Clinical Specialization) through IGNOU.. After completing this along with internahips .. I am going to go for counseling career.. keeping my Clinical Psychology option open.. After that I will try to get a Diploma in Counselling Psychology.. When I get a chance, I will enroll in RCI course for a license for Clinical Psychology.. NOW, the main query.. Then if required I may complete BA in Psychology (through IGNOU).. (I mean, doing BA at such a later stage if required .. considering the latest developments?) Would this be okay or should I do BA or B. Sc in Psychology FIRST ? I am really sorry for the long comment.. but I hope this helps others as well.. Thank you and take care! I really like your videos and your simplicity.. keep it going 🙂
