I'm getting hype for the end....
    Patch Notes for this episode:
    - Never Stop saying Epic.
-I swear, you missed a fuckin hallway in the maze, with the boat XD. Hopefully, we'll see more of that in the next episode....
-"Oh, another Tongue Twister".... Yeah, buddy, that's a normal sentence

Like I mean, I guess yeah? Fuck it. Automata pom.
Anyways the theme of male n female roles is very prevalent. Would love to dissect this

This may be a very peculiar coincidence, but I think the "Gatari" character's name is slightly mistranslated here: basically a faulty English re-romanization of a Japanese rendering of an originally non-Japanese name. My hunch started with "Gatari" seeming to me too close to the "Guattari" of Felix Guattari, the French-Italian critical psychoanalyst (see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F%C3%A9lix_Guattari ). I looked up the standard Japanese rendering of his last name, "ガタリ", on the Japanese translation of the same Wikipedia article, and then I looked up a Japanese playthrough of Garage. Sure enough the Japanese rendering of the character name matches the Japanese of Guattari's name (see this timestamp, ua-cam.com/video/zfDwscbLevY/v-deo.htmlsi=W81XlhYsMP1e1nKZ&t=14176). I kinda wonder also if the Yan (sometimes also rendered as Yang) is really also similarly a mis-retranslation of Carl Jung. Articles on the game make the Jungian psychology connections pretty explicit, but I wonder how deep the references go if other people like Guattari are being included. Thanks for this playthrough by the way. It makes the game's content really accessible.

Great find, I didn’t mention it but I made the same connection. I didn’t realize the name was not spelled the same but I thought it was a possible reference to Guattari (only because my friend had told me about Guattari and Deleuze a while before).
Nice job basically confirming it by comparing the Japanese spelling, also that’s a really cool idea that the Yan/Yang name is a possible reference to Jung’s name
I’m glad you are enjoying the series, also just in case you don’t know there is a remake of the game on steam!
Anyway thanks very much for your comment :)
