Anywhere you have football played (not that game they have in the US where they carry the ball with their hands) you typically have very vocal and rowdy fans. Seems a weird connection as most metalheads don't go to football games. I moved from England in 99 to the US and shows here are so fucking bland. It's a shame that in order to get a fun crowd I gotta fly 2,500 miles to NYC and watch some smaller shows there.

Anthrax was my first concert. Whilst neck deep into the mosh pit, I fully threw my back out. When I stopped moshing I immediately got punched directly in the spine by a shirtless dude in trip-pants. Lost my shoes too. Walked to my car after the show in the snow with no shoes. Metal as hell. I’ll never forget it.

About 20 years ago Anthrax was in Tampere, Finland. The place was called Pakkahuone. "Wardance" came and the whole Pakkahuone was just one, huge circle pit. I was there, naturally, and I have to say it was my last pit. Too old for that shit...:D Great memories.

The two biggest circle pits I've ever seen were at Anthrax shows and Slayer shows. One Anthrax show I was front row and got a high five from Joey the singer. It was one of the highlights of my life. It's o.k. to be jealous. ;-)

It was two in the afternoon and the bands and fans got drunk together... any one here reemember that from Zwolle, Netherlands? Me and my brother left that concert in ouyr underwear, because all the girls tore the trousers down at the tears, we had to travel 200 km by train afterwards hahaha!
I once played a soccer game against them in the Netherlands... with Paul Dianno (first Iron Maiden singer) and Testament... Bands against fans... We won of course!
True story, a sunday afternoon a day after a big concert fans gathered uo in the town of Zwolle... Testament came out first, then Anthrax... there was a massive empty parking lot at two in the afternoon... a lot of fans and a lot of booze,yeah... best dat of my life!
