Iron Maiden is the best live band ever. It was true 40 years ago when I first saw them and it was true the last time I saw them just before the lockdown. They are all in their 60s now, and the drummer is about to turn 70, and they are still killing it. And yes listen to the studio version.
I saw them 20 years ago for the first time, and travelled around the world to see them, and these last 2 years have been horrible not being able to see them. But in 5 weeks I will see them again in Croatia!! I can't wait.

I had the good fortune to see Iron Maiden at ther first ever show in Sweden, October 9th 1980, and they blew my mind. This song has a special place in my heart as the riff is almost the same (the intro part of the song) as my youth band mates in my local hometown Gävle (Sweden). Listen and compare. Mainly this year you will not be there touring next year so far in Europe only just June/July perhaps later they will announce via your neck of the woods...or 2024. We shall see, hopefully next year (problem is Bruce has retired from flying) so need to arrange flights (wich they never had to do before...maybe as he owes you a visit and they stick to their word, convince him to fly again.
