Took your advice and that of Capt Adam at St Lucie Flats fishing. Brought our Mahi and Snapper to Island Pig and Grill and was not disappointed. The kitchen does a fantastic job. Another great fishing video here, too - thanks Fishaholic. This video actually inspired my wife and I to head over to Fort Pierce and charter, great times were had.

Just went to the Island Pig and Fish last week for the first time. Got their ruben (limited time menu item) and the she crab soup. Was the best ruben i ever had.

I saw that restaurant a few weeks ago for the first time and tried to stop, they weren’t open yet. Will show some support next time i launch from that area. Can’t wait to try it. If I see the owner I’ll tell him you sent me.

And with those mahi.....they will eat at least 3 separate lures on 3 separate rods. So just because they break you off doesn't mean you lost ur.lure.or your fish. I know that from experience. The are veracious fish.

Expirements at my dock with all the hooks we use and the light wire tourney circles we use disintegrated in 5 days, the heavier demon circles we use on wrecks and deep bottom lasted 2.5 weeks only. So these hooks were sitting still while those stuck in a fish are moving thru the water which as we know creates electrolysis so I feel those would be gone even sooner

You’ve been sailing into some nice fish but was close until you guys gunned it.
Rich, a comment from my chef friend... don't fillet the fish if bringing it to a chef, just scale and gut it, and bring to chef, so they can decide which cuts to use... you loose too much of the tasty parts when you fillet.
