the humility of AC/DC is something to behold. The singer is worth millions. He comes out on stage in worn out Jeans.
How did they get so many people? They're AC/DC. One of the Top 10 greatest bands of all time. Next time listen to Back In Black.
all three nights of this show were sold out in less than 20mins.. !!
Sorry mate but i would have to disagree, the are the greatest rock n roll bend of all time
@@bismilahbezelbub2808 agreed..
Yep
There were three nights of 75 thousand people in total there were more than 200,000. Argentina is the world capital of rock and roll AC / DC, STONES, RAMONES, MEGADETH ... they are more loved here than anywhere in the world
AC/DC played 3 straight nights at River Plate in Dec 2009 to a total of 220,000+ ppl so that’s 73,000+ a night!!!!! Brian Johnson the lead singer was 63, Angus Young the lead guitarist was 55 and the rest of the boys were in their 50’s!!! Legendary is all I can say. These Argentina fans are the best on the planet and they appreciate good hard driving rock and roll. Just look at all the different ages in the crowd. It transcends generations. Unbelievable!! So says Austin Texas!!!!!! 🤣🤣🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸😍😍😍🥳🥳😎😎
So true. Every concert i watched in argentina, the crowed pushed the bands to their limits. Even if ACDC doesn´t need this, as the absolute best live band ever, they rock the hell any given day. They are live even better as in the studio.
@@steffenjonda8283 Yep!!!! They are Large and In Charge!!!!!! The best live show ever!!!! 😎🍸
When Bon was in the lead and they toured Europe, they were doing two shows a day for six days straight of 13 months.
That's AC/DC doing that for decades girl!!!!!!
They gather this massive crowd because it's AC DC live.
And they usually sell out in minutes.
Every
Single Time.
This was about 11 years ago. The album they just released is the best they have done in 30 years. A band that never stops working!
Sorry im an German Guy, it may be that I understand something wrong in ur Comment but Thunderstruck is a Song from 1990. Do you mean the concert?
@@stiibuderschrat7522 probably meant the concert
Ok I have some special for you guys, ACDC has one slow blues "ballad" in their huge catalogue, called "Ride on".
It´s not only very special because its really the only one of that kind of tune they ever recorded, but its also up there with their very best songs, its incredible, you wouldnt believe its the same band that recorded Thunderstruck lol.
Maybe someone can get that to Joy-Jean through patreon, and make sure to react to the album version from 1976. ua-cam.com/video/sFUGvdxuQGQ/v-deo.html
You are welcome, and Ride on. ;)
@@stiibuderschrat7522 thunderstruck is older than 1990.
@@donaldshrader9609 No, it´s not, Thunderstruck is from September 1990, Recorded January 1990, Released September 1990.
More AC/DC en River Plate. This concert is insane!!!🇦🇷🙂
I love you 💞
Ive seen them 6 times and every show is like this, not a show but an event.
Took my son to see them a couple of years ago. The highlight of my concert experiences
Supremely jealous. They were formed about 30min drive from my 🏠 and I didn't get a chance to see them live :(
people these days never know how wickedly cool 80's rock and roll was....
70s actually ❤️🎵🥁🎸❤️ what a band
"How did they get that amount of people?"
They said AC/DC was coming.
Before every sporting event when I was in high school...I blasted this song. This was how you got juiced to crush someone else.
The lead guitarist Angus runs around for the entire show, such energy, they have so much fun! Ive gotten to see em 4 times, all great shows. Crank it up Empress, acdc is enjoyed Loud!
Angus Young lives in a tiny town in The Netherlands and has been living there for ages. He likes his privacy.
You never heard of AC/DC before? One of the biggest rock bands in the world since the 70s.
Imagine, all these guys are about +70 years old and still have that energy
I'm 60 and still rock out to stuff like this. My neck won't take much more of the head banging....
So glad you're watching the live version. AC/DC gets a little... extra energy... when they perform live - and that crowd in Argentina was HUUUGE.
Great reaction! This video was recorded from their three sold out shows (about 67K fans per show) at The River Plate in Argentina. This is from their “Black Ice” tour (4th highest grossing tour of all time). Sadly, this is the last official video with founding member Malcolm Young. He was suffering from Dementia and would lose his battle November 2017. Last week AC/DC released a new album from music Angus (guy in the suit and younger brother of Malcolm) and Malcolm had written around the time this album was released. The new album is a tribute to Malcolm. Point of interest. The last time AC/DC released an album officially recognizing a fallen band member was in 1980 after original lead singer Bon Scott died three weeks after the end of their Highway to Hell tour. That album “Back in Black” would go on to be the 2nd highest selling album of all time behind only Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”.
Power up was made possible by Mal.. but then all ac/dc's albums were.. the song mists of time is Angus's tribute song for Mal..
I wouldn't say the whole album is a tribute..
There was closer to 80k 3 nights in a row and unfortunately Back in Black is number 3 behind Theiller and Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd. Pink Floyd out sold Thriller by almost 50%
@@larrywelchko6136 did you know that they asked David Gilmore to reunite pink Floyd...he said in an interview..."no no..pink Floyd was nothin more than a pop band..and to go back and do it all again? Would just be silly... Mad world eh? Lol!
@@larrywelchko6136 and to think that ac/dc have sold more records world wide than queen..the stones and the who! Pink Floyd bearly do shows now..MJ is dead..yet there's no stopping Angus young eh?
Back in Black is also *the* highest selling album by a single band *ever.*
AC/DC are an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 1973 by Scottish-born brothers Malcolm and Angus Young. Although their music has been variously described as hard rock, blues rock, and heavy metal, the band themselves call it simply "rock and roll Hall of fame inductions: 1988, 2003
We're all Europeans in DownUnder mate!
This concert was held at Riverplate Stadium in Argentina and averaged approx 67,000 paid tickets over 3 consecutive nights for a total attendance over 200,000 people.
There are dozens of AC/DC videos on YT but Thunderstuck (1.4 billion views) and Back In Black (1 billion views) as of Jan 2024 are the most popular. At the time of the Riverplate Concert their ages were:
Brian Johnson Lead Singer 1947 -62
Cliff Williams - Bass Guitar 1949 - 59
Malcolm Young - Rythm Guitar 1953-56
Phil Rudd - Drums 1954 - 55
Angus Young - Lead Guitar 1955 -54
Can't believe anyone hasn't heard of AC/DC. Their shows are an experience, not a concert. As for Angus doing the duck walk, check out Chuck Berry singing Johnny B Goode from 1958, he learned it from the master.
Yeah. It's two people, AC a and DC
hahahahah ❤️🤣❤️🎸🥁🎤🎸🎵
They have been around since 1974 - with many line ups. Bon Scott and Malcolm Young rip. I am near 60 and still like their stuff.
You should watch the whole concert. It's amazing. I saw them twice on this tour and my ears are still hurting.
Argentina: The best crowd in the world
Mexican here. I agree.
só se for de gafanhotos e de comunistas kkkkk
True.
The English Navy. The best Navy in THe World...
@@Isleofskye you talking bout pirates right?
The people of the great Falklands VOTED 99% to stay with Britain. It's the will od the people not some Dictatorship, mi amigo :)
Great, fantastic and immortal AC/DC!!! That`s MUSIC!!! 👍👍👍
OMG! I can't stop laughing at your reaction to just the first minute. So precious. thunderstruck is over 30 years old. AC/DC is definitely a rabbit hole you should go down. Seriously, how could a crowd that big be wrong?
They have been a band since 1973, almost 50 years of music. Many great songs.
The first time she looks up, priceless!
Ha Ha! Again, great reaction! Imagine this being the first AC⚡️DC song you’ve ever heard! THUNDER!
these guys just rock . period no gimmick just plain old rock their new album is just coooooool rock on
Loved Your reaction. A good band to connect with. In america, you can't go to a fair or carnival without hearing AC/DC music played. It's a must for fast and scary rides.
Those Guys have to be nearly 70 years old! I was traveling all over to go see them in the 80’s ! Awesome Live Shows
Seen AC/DC live, twice! 🤘🏻
And yes, seen them live is a show for life. 😉
The performance is all the greater as Brian Johnson is 62 years old and Angus Young 54 years old at the time of the concert at River Plates...
They are incredible.
Deep respect for the whole group
AC/DC stands for Alternating current / Direct Current. Its an electrical term.
it can also stand for Anti Christ/Devil's Child 😋
It can also be used as a sexual term. .
Yeah sure it is LOL
That is just how loved they are and have always been, that so many people went to that gig. Awe inspiring... Best band ever..
This is the best version to react to, not the official video. Seeing exactly what kind of crowd this band is capable of drawing is what makes them so legendary.
Bon Scott deserved to be in front of a crowd this large. Not to mention how much money he would earn for each show. RIP Bon - u r gone but u will never be forgotten. Miss u more as each day passes.
I love how the whole crowd was in sync almost doing the “Wave” without really doing it. They were just flowing side-to-side and side-by-side; just feeling the depth of greatness live!!! Legendary.
Another great song from this concert is Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheep. Awesome song! My most favorite other then Big Balls.
Dirty deeds was my fav ever since I was old enough to catch the meaning of the lyrics
Thier is nothing like going to a AC DC concert, I've been lucky enough to see them 3 times dating back to the mid 80's . The crowd really gets into the music and it's a great experience.
ACDC,...,Every song sounds just like the last one....Brilliant!
AC/DC (Acca Dacca as they are known in their Australian Homeland) There are 85000 people at this concert They had 350 at their 1st concert at Chequers Nightclub in Sydney, in 1973.
LOVE LOVE this song!!! One of the top ROCK BANDS of ALL TIME ! what makes this so much better is UR REACTIooon!!! As they said back in 1975, we'll play anything you like, so long as you want it loud!
Hell yeah! AC/DC concerts are amazing.
Please check out “Whole Lotta Rosie” and “The Jack” from this same concert- live at River Plate- ✌️✌️
I'm thunderstruck... Love your reaction 🥰
Saw them live a few years ago and they still kick ass. It was a great time with some great music and fun crowd. Angus Young kicks ass live. You've gotta see him if you get the chance.
Could u imagine how loud and and powerful that concert was they rock the living shit out of it
I loved your reaction! wellcome to ACDC's music! love from Argentina
Aussie here too, Saw this band 3 times from 1990 to 2000. Not many bands that can handle a stadium of this size and keep everyone entertained for 2 and a half hours.
Angus Young (Lead Guitar) was hopping across the stage on 1 leg... but you failed to notice he played a lot of his guitar riffs with 1 hand !
Amazing !
Liked/Subscribed !
Even now, this song sends chills down my spine
Rest in Peace Malcom Young- you are awesome!
AC/DC's For Those About To Rock. Especially, when they shoot off the cannons near the end of the song.
That's Argentina they're absolute maniacs when they go to concerts. It's an event.
Great reaction! Nice to see someone take a look at real rockers who isn't so familiar with the genre. Keep it up!
I was there cheers from buenos aires!
Thank you for your reaction to AC/DC's performance of Thunderstruck. And I must say you are beautiful!
I have the biggest crush on this woman.
Derek Shirley you and me both
Amazing footage from Argentina I think there is the whole concert on this one, ck it out!
I have been blessed to have seen AC/DC twice. And with both Bon Scott and Brian Johnson.
There is nothing like AC/DC. Huge fan base all very global, we just love AC/DC!!
Ck out their new release just weeks ago...Awesome!!
The loudest show I ever experienced. Moral of the story. BRING EARPLUGS!!!
J'adore toujours quand les jeunes écoutent et découvrent pour la première fois la musique de vieux.
Loved this reaction!
They're actually little guys! The tallest is the bass player Cliff Williams at 5 foot 7 while the lead guitarist Angus Young is 5 foot 2.
These are the greatest bands of all times. Nothing today can compete. pop r&b rap and so on...
Use to listen to them in High-school back in the late 70s. Good time Rock n Roll.
Yes, thanks for this ride!!!
Great reaction...you should watch the official video for this song which is also amazing.
Also Back in Black and Whole Lotta Rosie by AC/DC are brilliant too.
You young lady have a great smile. I hope you enjoyed this band. They are HIGH-Energy for sure and for certain. Take care of yourself. Please explore more music.... Stay safe!!!!!!!!!!
This was in my country! They filled the River Plate stadium 3 nights in a row. Those crowds are an argentinian classic.
ac/dc is back and better than ever shot in the dark
Empress, have you been living under a rock...............Mmmm AC/DC.................sounds like a guy called AC and DC😀, just one of the most successful bands of the 20th and 21st centuries, millions of records sold, huge around the world. This concert from Buenos Aires was part of a tour where they played 3 shows to just under 300000 people in 3 nights. Australian band ,universally loved.
I follow this band all my life iff I go .....we playing acdc on the way out 2020 and the dropped a new album brain on vocals 73 years old rocking like a young god angus playing ....dont get me started on angus best guitar player ever
It's a long way to the Top if you wanna Rock and Roll..😎✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽💥💥💥
Just an FYI the Official video for this song just passed a BILLION views on UA-cam. AC/DC is one of a handful of bands that can claim to be multi generational, I'm in my 50's started listening to them when I was a teenager, my kids listen to them and Yes my grandchildren as well.
If you ever get a chance to go to a concert!
Just go!
I swear I cried myself to sleep on this tour! 🤘🏻
Just think....they've been rocking like this since the early 1970's!
It is amazing actually...
It was their concert in Argentina and it was one of the largest crowds ever. Over 100,000,people there.
I know this isn't your favorite type of music and it's funny to watch your reactions. But it is fun stuff. The crowd is sick. Wish I was there right now. Keep up the good work.
It's one of the biggest bands ever, they have played to half a million before. Loud and louder! I was proud to see my nephew driving down the road blasting Back In Black a solid 30 years after I would be seen doing the same thing. Timeless hard rock.
The best review of Thunderstruck yet...Thanks!
I like how she got into it half way into the video.
AC⚡DC maybe the best live rock band in history 🔥
Hey Joy ! I like your video, and your reaction is nothing else but the truth ... They are monster of rock !
This girl's face could grace magazine covers every day of the week.
Best live band I have seen.
Hey they r living legend AC/DC Rock n Roll …love from Nepal forever AC/DC 🤘🤘🇳🇵🇳🇵❤️
I love the expressions on your face. Epic
Thanks for reacting my Empress Queen. the one leg hop was made popular by Chuck Berry...
realdeal
ACDC sold out 3 concerts on the Black Ice tour at River Plate Buenos Aires, Argentina
You might want to check out "Hells Bells" which is another great song by this group. They've been around a good while. I see a lot of reactors doing Thunderstruck as their first AC/DC song which I find interesting. They sure draw a crowd, that place was jumping!
Amazing and sad so many now haven't been exposed to real, raw, fun , powerful rock. Thanks for reviewing it
First time here at your channel, omg your dropdead gorgeous and that accent adds to your beauty.
ACDC originates from Australia, which is where Im from.
They're from TEXAS, YEAH TEXAS and they have some Fun!! LMAO, Yeah, Australia.
As for the video, the action was alright, especially the Chuck Berry type walk.bI didn't like the music and screaming. I loved seeing your beautiful face and reaction.
@@johndavidson5228 Kind of creepy sounding there buddy, lmao. I'm sure you didn't mean it to, but re-read and pretend like it's not you.
I was born in the 60'ties, saw this band and many others live. At those times it was normal to have concerts in soccer stadiums where easily 70-80.000 people would fit in and their concerts were sold out within 1-2 days. Awesome time, amazing memories and glad to lived through the 70'ties and 80'ties!!
Watched them a couple years back in a full soccer stadium. Not for the first time either. This is still going on. Pretty much unchanged, except the ticket prices skyrocketed... because they know there are always more that would love to come.
This band started in 1974. Masters of their art
1973
Best at what they do and that's rock!!!!! Xxx
The best Rock Band in history....NO ARGUMENT
Empress at the beginning = 🤨
Empress at the end = 🤘😆🤘
LOVE IT!!!
