Queen blew us away in 1975 with Bohemian Rhapsody and continued to blow us away for years with some of the best music of the times. I absolutely love that people are still being blown away by their music, because it's some of the best ever produced.
Freddie had no vocal training, no formal musical training either. He was born with talent beyond belief and still had it until his death at just 45 years old. So honored to have seen him live twice, to have breathed the same air. There will never be another Freddie Mercury.
Fritz Lang, a German film director (Metropolis), used to say a movie does not happen on the screen, it happens in the space between the screen and the audience. In other words it is a composition of sensory responses of all senses, not only the eyes. That is Queen in music! From goosebumps to tears.
You can watch any Queen song live and not be disappointed. Please add 'Save Me' from the same concert to your future list of reactions. The movement and timing of Freddie and Brian on the piano is perfection.
Few people know that superman wears a Freddie Mercury T-shirt. Also, when Brian May is not being a brilliant guitar wizard, he is an astrophysicist, helping NASA send probes to Pluto, using a slide rule and a pencil.
Check out the official video to this song as well. The harmonies are out of this world. The three singers voices blended perfectly. Freddie Mercury - lead singer, piano, Brian May - guitarist, Roger Taylor - drums. Roger Taylor sings lead on I'm In Love With My Car this same concert. Also he sings with Freddie on Under Pressure Live at Wembley 1986. Their 20 minute Live Aid performance in 1985 is considered the best live concert performance ever. They are all incredibly talented. The guitarist built his own guitar and has a PhD in Astrophysics. The bassist has an honours degree in Electrical Engineering. The drummer has a degree in Biology and the lead singer has a Graphic Arts degree and designed the Queen crest. All four wrote hit songs and were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Dive into Queen!
John Deacon; bassist. You’ll usually see him hanging back by the piano by Freddie when he’s sitting there. Anyway he looks like he’s just, picking at a toy guitar lol….while his AMAZING sound kills it. He doesn’t get the notoriety he should because he’s so quiet 🤫, but his sound pulls it together. John, wherever you are with your family, you are missed and we still LOVE ❤️ YOU!! 1/4 of the perfect puzzle!
Hi Double A. I grew up with Queen, have several albums on vinyl from the Seventies still. Please listen to as much as you can and please watch their performance at Live Aid, the best 20 minute concert ever. Stay safe.
One of the best reactions to this performance I’ve seen. You acknowledged Rogers drumming and vocals and not many do that. They are an amazing band that’s for sure . There is a world of Queen songs out there for you to discover .
Plus Empress, I don’t think I’ve ever seen you smile so big for so long during a reaction. Was great to see. Please more Queen. I promise you they will become your favorite band lol. I promise.
If you love the energy of this song, you need to react to Queen-Full Concert Live Aid 1985. It’s 22 minutes long, but it’s one of the best concert they have done.
Queen rules, girl. I’ve loved them since I was a child. My parents had Queen albums, and I loved to listen to Bohemian Rhapsody because it is so funny.
Brian May, the lead guitarist is one of the best of all time. He has a PhD in Astrophysics & is a chancellor of a british university. Still touring with the drummer Rodger & Adam Lambert doing vocals after Freddy passed away.
I cannot believe that this is your very first Queen reaction. What an amazing journey you have embarked upon! Of course, this particular video clip is almost unsurpassable (ie. it is just amazingly fabulous compared to every other live video) but there are many, many other Queen videos very worthy of your attention. Enjoy ... which it is impossible for you to deny!
Yes, definitely react to Bohemian Rhapsody. And it's one of the few times where the official video is better than the live versions. It's highly engineered, and they can only do bits and pieces of it live.
Freddie Mercury was one of a kind. Never to be replaced. The lead guitarist Brian May has a PhD in astrophysics. React to Bohemian Rhapsody it is a vibe on a totally different level.
It was really a blessing when I twice had the opportunity to see them live in concert in Vienna, Austria (1984 + 1986) - I will never forget that extraordnary performance they gave. I always liked them as a school kid. And now I even love them more than ever before. I miss Freddie, his talents, accurancy and awsome melodies. This year on November 24th it is already 30 years ago since Freddie passed away. R.I.P. Your Majesty ...

So much Queen to discover. You found a happy rabbit hole here. Live/Studio just dive in. Freddie (the singer) is a one of a kind find. What's also great? They don't get blocked. People do them all the time. So go on splurge of Queen. Neither you, nor your subs, will be disappointed. I think we would all enjoy watching you discover the magic of Queen. One suggestion: listen/react to the *studio* Bohemian Rhapsody before the live. Just so you can get the magnificent studio rendition lodged in that head of yours. Some things can't be reproduced onstage. Freddie was such a pitch master singer he can purposely record a double track slightly different of the main track for a doubling effect. Flawlessly. Bohemian is a prime example. No auto tune. All talent. There will never be another Freddie Mercury. My personal rec...Seven Seas of Rhye or Death on two Legs Yeah, they're short. But's it's awesome.
My all time favorite live performance ❤❤❤ The lead singer is Freddie Mercury. He was and still is a legend and an icon. He passed away from AIDS in 91 sadly and he's so missed. There's no one like him, he was so unique. He's considered to be the greatest vocalist of all time. I def agree with that. He had no vocal training other than being in a choir as a kid in school. That's about it. The other members are Brian May on guitar, John Deacon on bass and Roger Taylor on drums. I hope you want to continue reacting to them.
