First of all thankyou for taking the time to put together how it all works & you explained everything brilliantly. Ive seen other videos but so far your the first to actually talk about the percentages & what to do with chip merging !😉
Pretty informative, the only thing I'd suggest is letting players know that the Engineering stat will improve your chances of getting better chips. With full engineering I was able to get up to 30-32 percentile can't recall off the top of my head. And with Combat maxxed you just shred things.
I use my low percentage # chips on the weapon spread nodes (target reticle) to keep the accuracy better. So, if you have some low #'s, they are not necessarily junk.
I'm pretty pleased with how Teyon did with the game. Really good job with the look and feel. Glad you found the video helpful, and thanks for watching.
-- Comprehensive. Thanks. Reminds me of the same 'style' they did in Terminator Resistance. I honestly believe that DLC for TR where you could play as the Terminator in that kind of ranked speed run was a 'dry run' for this game.
That what I first thought when I heard about Rogue City. Basically Infiltrator mod for Terminator Resistance was a early beta for this game. No matter, I still really enjoy both games and while they are similar in many regards, they are still different.
-- Agreed. I liked Terminator very much. A stand out was Kyle Reece. Just all go, go, go, no quit. They really captured his character. These guys pick good games to do, and stay true to the content. It's been a LONG time since I could plainly see that the devs - through action, not words - wanted to represent correctly, and work hard to raise the bar. Ha! On what is clearly a limited budget compared to most AAA titles. @@MightyBjorn
Maybe I’m crazy, or maybe it’s a bug, but I noticed the number of available chips on the left change for me as I move from PCB to PCB. I assumed it should be a common pool of unused chips, but for some reason when I go through “all” and cycle through the boards, the available ones change.
Is there a way to save my circuit boards? When I insert the chips on one circuit board it don't get saved after I die during like the final boss. I have to insert them all again before I attempt to attack the final boss again. Is there a way to not have to do that again?
@@MightyBjorn I think it is but of course I started a new game, lost everything and just found out they are dropping an update to enable new game + 😩😩 looks like I’ll be doing another play through
Good video. How often do you get more chips and/or is there a way to go back to base chips? I was trying to merge chips and got some real junk and the checkpoint system in this game leaves much to be desired.
can't get the old chips back once merged outside of reloading the game. I recommend waiting until after doing a mission and returning to the Police Station.
RULE 1 ONLY MERGE YOUR LESSER RATED CHIPS AND ONLY DO IT LATER IN THE GAME WHEN YOU HAVE A LOT.. Also it's OK to eat a5% penalty for "auto load " "auto feed", "full auto fire" "mag capacity","reload" and "massive damage" effects
hmm I didn't really think about it on that end. I find damage to be nice but ammo cap is really good too, especially if you run the Auto-9 on autofire. All the stats to boost on the Auto-9 is good and useful.
Here is my tutorial for the Plasma Weapon upgrade system for Terminator Resistance ua-cam.com/video/5Eao_usDHyk/v-deo.htmlsi=ZGgcXTAIP-m5tc6w

This was extremely helpful. I would’ve never known that you can use any shape you want to avoid the reds. Thanks for this
Thank you, this was exactly what was needed. :)
I pretty much use the Auto 9 alone because of this system. It is awesome!

Cheers for this tutorial! I never would've anticipated this type of upgrade system prior to going into the game, and I think it's great!

You explained it far better than the tutorial i kind of understand it now.

@@MightyBjorn Thanks
Watched three different videos, yours was the best. Thank you!!
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Great video, nice and comprehensive. Just picked this up on Steam & have been really enjoying it. Such a sleeper hit

Intro music? That was great.
Also, clean tutorial.
Thank you, I hope you enjoyed the tutorial. My intro music is Simple Metal from TeknoAXE. It the original version not the remastered.
This was fantastic. Thank you.
I'm glad you watched, thank you for tuning in

thank you so much

I'm not sure tbh because I save doing the circuit board stuff for the station and I know it saves when leaving the station.
I figured it out. Thanks anyway.
Great video thank you!
This is really helpful 👏
glad to help

Super helpful.. priciate it
This helped alot🎉
good to hear
So can you only activate one board at a time or do the boards stack?
You can have multiple boards set up but only 1 board is active at a time.
Thanks dude, very helpful. Especially the merge part. Is there anyway to block the “bad” nodes?
just make sure there isn't a connection point to the said node but some card you really can't do that if you want the special bonus nodes
Can you have more than 1 chip board working at one time?
You can have as many boards set up as you want but only 1 board can be active at a time.
@MightyBjorn thank you, I thought this was the case but wasn't 100% sure.
@@DagenhamLegend no problem, thank you for tuning in.
Cheers Pal 👍
I found the 6.0 board. Is this the best? I haven’t watched right through yet
I up to you what is the best board really

Who else didn't pay attention to the bumps on the sides but concentrated more on the number %?

"random" goes to the bottom 3.... just like "randoM" TSA checks....
It would be cool to keep my boards to play the game again
A new game plus would be nice
Its just a plummer style
'promo sm' 💖
I absolutely despise this part of the game.
Its really not that bad once you get the hang of it, and I kind of like it because it keeps the Auto-9 useful even as an end game weapon.
I learned to like it. It's kinda fun to get the extra abilities.
Needed this fsfs. I dont have a clue what im doing with motherboards, i just be pressing buttons.
Whats the best stats to boost first?
