- A detailed tour of BKK International Airport :
Landing on runway 01L, taxi past E-pier and park at gate C8, Arrivals level air side and street side, floors 2 & 1,
Departure level 4 and check in hall, airside high end and duty free shopping areas, Thai Buisness Class Lounge, E gates,
Intermediate level 3 (streetside retail and dining) and Basement (access to the City Link railway station)

Great video! Along with DXB I am totally sold on BKK airport. Every time I arrive/depart here it serves as a pleasant beginning/ending to my stays in Bangkok. Again, very good and informative video. It's a huge airport with lots of beautiful Asian statues to be seen.

You might get the wrong information. What is under construction right now is not the terminal 2. It's actually a satellite building.

Une vidéo que j'ai regardé avec une attention particulière puisque je vais à BKK en mai prochain (KL875 à l'aller et AF165 au retour). Les dimensions de l'aéroport sont vertigineuses et contrastent fort avec CDG auquel nous sommes habitué.

Merci Erik et bonne année en retour. Bangkok vaut vraiment le voyage, je suis sûr que tu apprécieras. Et BKK est décidément un superbe aéroport. Les halls L et M de CDG 2E ont certainement de quoi impressionner aussi mais c'est la première fois que j'avais un tel sentiment d'énormité des espaces. Ca me faisait penser un peu à Kansai que j'avais visité l'année dernière, mais en deux fois plus grand. Si tu pars à Bangkok en KLM, tu transiteras par Schiphol ;-) Je ne sais pas si tu l'avais déjà vu mais ci-joint le lien vers la vidéo que j'avais faite de mon transfert à AMS, à touts fins utiles ;-)))

Je ne resterai qu'une journée pleine à Bangkok, avant mon retour (pas de problème de jetlag). J'espère la mettre à profit pour en voir le plus possible. Avant, je vais direct vers Koh Samui.
Étonnamment, je n'ai pas encore fréquenté les halls L et M ... Il faudra que je répare cela ;)
Schiphol: Bien sur j'ai déjà vu ta vidéo mais la repasserai avec plaisir (en fait, je n'ai pas du en louper une seule ^^) et je connais un peu l'aéroport pour y avoir transité deux ou trois fois.

The reason that it felt too small because right now Suvarnanhumi airport carry people inside the terminal way beyond it’s capacity (right around 120 - 130%).
I understand that a second terminal is in planning/construction, right? That should ease the strain. Thanks for watching.

I suppose you talk about "arriving at the airport streetside" and departing, i.e. arriving at the gate, right?
That depends very much on the location of your gate. I was at the very end of pier E, so all in all, when walking without stopping and without too much traffic at Immigration and Security, I'd say 15 to 20 minutes. Thanks for watching, by the way.

This seems scary for me since I have to go there alone T^T hope I will make through it just fine T^T
BKK is big but very easy to use. Don't worry and just enjoy - it's worth it.
Come and visit Incheon International Airport
It's on my bucket list, especially now that Terminal 2 is open. This fall, I go to Sydney and at one point, I had a possibility with KLM via ICN. Finally it'll be via SIN outbound and TPE return but maybe, a trip to Seoul will be scheduled as soon as next year ;-)
It seem so big .. even I never flight .. if I flight for the first time and alone . Make me So so scare 😭☹️.. omg poor me 😞

The airport doesn’t look that big but when you look carefully inside specially like walking around inside the airport it does get confusing sometimes specially when you try to get to your own plane you don’t know where it is
What do I have to do when I arrive to BKK? Get my luggage and head to Immigration? How does it work?
First through Immigration, then to luggage delivery, then through Customs to the street side. Thanks for watching.
Arce_714 Get fit first as it's a long walk wherever you land. You also, often get a freezing cold jerky buss ride. Do not stop to eat or drink as you will use up your money in a flash. Often you have to line up with people dressed like Penguins in black sheets and wait a long time for your luggage. Great Architecture but not designed for passengers convenience.
Which terminal do etihad airways land
There's only one terminal with one arrivals zone, so it doesn't really matter which gate a flight arrives at everyone ends up in the same area. Thanks for watching.

Hello HAHAHA BKK คือรหัสสนามบินสุวรรณภูมิค่ะ เมื่อก่อนใช้กับดอนเมืองแต่ดอนนี้ ดอนเมืองใช้ DMK ทุกสนามบินทั่วโลกจะต้องมีรหัสค่ะ
Bkk คือ รหัสสนามบินสุวรรณภูมิครับ
คนไทยใช้ในหลายบริบท แต่ไม่ถูกนัก อย่าง CNX หมายถึงสนามบินเชียงใหม่ ไม่ได้หมายถึงทั้งจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ แต่หลังๆคนใช้กันเยอะ จนหลายเป็นว่า เป็นตัวย่อของจังหวัด จริงคือ code ของสนามบิน
เคยขึ้นเครื่องกันไหมเนี้ยะ มันเป็นรหัสสนามบิน เช่น CNX เชียงใหม่

CEI เชียงราย

Pity it was not designed with passengers in mind! Incompetence everywhere abounds. Try gate A which unlike gate B only has a one way moving pavement and a marathon walk to get ones luggage. Boarding requires Marathon training! Up and down or up for passport. Plenty of overpriced eateries and ' duty free' shops. Just a highlight of the thoughtlessness and inconvenience to passengers. Good looking but not user friendly.
