As someone who worked at Capcom Vancouver for 7 years, and worked on DR4 (amongst many other cancelled projects), I appreciate your even handed and diplomatic approach to this story. It’s easy for people to shit all over DR4, but we tried our hardest to make the best game we thought we could. Yes, there were a LOT of mistakes all over, and I’m still sad over how things played out (along with the studio closure), but at least here, people can see at least a glimmer of what we tried to do, and that we didn’t set out to “ruin” the franchise. RIP Capcom Vancouver
@@matthewhauck8768 Thanks for this. Anytime I see a video about CV or DR4, it definitely opens some wounds, so hearing this from a fan makes me feel better.
Hey. Just a serious question.... What were you guys thinking when making Dead Rising a The Walking Dead crawler game? That goes against everything Dead Rising is. Im legit curious.
Capcom Vancouver: We replaced Frank's voice actor to make him sound older while still having the same charm and humor DR4 Frank: WHO WANTS BARBECUE!? THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID! HURR HURR
And They wonder are people are gushing over Frank West old actor in Marvel vs Capcom infinite honestly I think Frank West old voice returning is one of the reasons why majority of people bought the game even if it sucked
I get that the woman who wrote Frank and the original story left and then others messed it up but... That still doesn't make sense to me. Frank West isn't some extremely deep tricky character. He's just an old school traditional journalist with a surprising amount of courage. How the hell did they manage to turn him into this annoying nutjob sociopath?
By not giving a shit. Would YOU care about the work you did if all the passion you had was poured out into ideas that your boss constantly wiped their asses with?
@@HoHhoch yeah that makes sense eventually, even if you loved the project a lot, you'd probably just pick the 'safest' (read: often shittiest and out of touch) option that you know they'd like just to get them to give you the ok why lose even more time trying just to have to re-do it? for something that was already ruined, compared to what you wanted? a shame really, but understandable
Used to enjoy dead rising as a kid but kinda felt they could of ended it with the third one as i felt having frank wast as the hero again seemed kinda enforced and like capcom saying hey gamers we got frank west back instead of the people you enjoy playing over the last two games
I am extremely glad tj rotollo wasn’t in dr4 because he doesn’t deserve the punishment and he is actually a versatile voice actor is in re5 you don’t know he’s there until credits roll and then you then realize

All I want from Dead Rising 5 is this; show the final scene of Dead Rising 4. It pulls out, revealing it being shown on a movie screen. A man stands up and walks out, as the credits roll. We follow him as he leaves, opening credits rolling as the camera keeps low enough so we don’t see this person. Once outside, the camera pulls up as the front doors open. “What a load of shit,” Frank West groans. “I should have never let them use my likeness.” Have the game take place in a zombie infested Hollywood, a setting ripe for combo weapons and crazy psychos. Hell, you could even have the actor that played Frank in Dead Rising 4 be the character player 2 would be in multiplayer.
They “wanted to cast someone older for Frank”, TJ was 49 or 50 at the time the game was made, Frank is 51 years old in the game. Miss me with that foolishness!
@@creativerealms the pitches weren’t thought out thoroughly they had no marketing our game plan. They didn’t even have a target customer. Why the fuck would capcom fund a product that you don’t know you can sell.

yeah I gotta side with Capcom Japan here honestly. Dead Rising is what people wanted. Dead Rising is what makes Capcom money. Dead Rising is what the studio has proven that they're good at making. It makes total sense for Capcom Japan to go "dude just go make a good Dead Rising game".
@@EbonMaster Yeah but like, the studio made 6 games under the Dead Rising franchise. It’s hard to continue to be passionate about something when it’s all you are making.
@@filthymonkey3066 I get that but idk. This is Capcom we're talking about, Theyve taken plenty of risks like that with it not turning out particularly well (to put it lightly). I guess after seeing whats happened with some of their other franchises I respect them just wanting a dev team to make what people want.
@@EbonMaster That is true, and to counter my own statement, the titles Vancouver wanted to produce were WAY too ambitious for their first project. But still, I feel like they should have let the team do something else on a smaller scale.
@@filthymonkey3066 Definitely true. I feel like a compromise could have and maybe should have been made. Like at least the promise of a new, interest project after they get done with the DR game Capcom wanted or a small side project or something. idk. sucks that it happened how it happened tho.
or have the 4 frank end up being a unknowing clone created by the Zombex company to ruin his reputation at the height of his popularity while kidnapping the real frank thus getting the public to not look into the real origins of the virus basically rip off young justices first big plot twist plus this is belivable in game what with sapient zombies and unzombification being canon now
Wow! Having 4 be an in-universe telling of one of Frank's adventures is brilliant. I can hear Frank now... "that's not quite the way it went down, but you kinda get the gist."
It's easy to watch a crowbcat video slyly pointing out messy games, what people chalk up to lazy developers, but these videos actually make you realize the bullshit developers deal with and 90% of the time it seems its because of miscommunication or upper management fucking up
I’m not gonna lie, I still blame the developers. To take a massively successful franchise and try to change everything about its identity without notifying its creators in Japan is kind of a really boneheaded move. Their pitch for Climber sounds abysmal, like a blatant piggyback off of The Last of Us, a game whose design philosophy clashes with Dead Rising’s harder than plaid with stripes.
@@morganrobinson8042 To clarify, Ash Williams is a great character with plenty of personality under Campbell. Just taking all his oneliners and slapping them onto someone else is not.
@Stellvia Hoenheim Disrespectful towards Japanese culture? Bruh their work culture it's absolute shit. Have you ever read or seen the shit that Japanese developers have to go through over there?
Yeah, not that other places don’t have awful work systems, but Japan is a bit notorious lol. Manga and anime artists get health complications from how overworked they get. (I think some have probably died from heart issues as a result) I think there’s even a thing about Black Companies that are known to be super harsh and corrupt sweatshop desk jobs.
This is just like that Billy Elliot movie where the kid wants to be a ballet dancer and the father wants him to be a boxer. But instead of recognizing their studio’s desire to branch out and try new things, Capcom was like: “Shut up and do what you’re told”
Capcom basically said "hey, good idea! but fuck you'r idea. make Frank West the star and make it happen in the place where it all started. and add an EXO suit, so he can look cool and shit. why? because HURR-FUCKETY-DURR!"
I'd love to see a "what happened?" Regarding HER Interactives "Nancy Drew: Midnight in Salem." It's a fascinating story about a company changing executives, stopping publishing hard copies of games, voice actor replacement, endless production delays, changing to a whole new engine... it's a lot. Though perhaps that would be better saved for next Halloween.
There are plenty of What Happened episodes about what happens when studios try to completely reinvent franchises without trying to appeal to their core audience. Their original Dead Rising 4 idea sounded like just a The Last of Us clone. Had it come out it would have probably had a What Happened talkinh about how it all went to shit the moment they "tried to make a different game than what Dead Rising was"
@@LD1E60 Maybe so, maybe not. It could have come out as a Last of Us clone but it could have been good too. This was the third major project they worked on that got rejected by Capcom Japan and this one even had Microsoft’s backing. Must have been frustrating as fuck for everyone on Capcom Vancouver, getting constantly shut down.
i really hope we get a dead rising reboot in the RE engine and take back to it's roots of the story taking itself quite seriously giving the player the option to fuck it up via funny costumes and weapon options
6:37 "...grounded..." "You'd be stealth-killing zombies, rather than mowing down hoards of them." "...couldn't make a spike-encrusted super soaker that shot electrified fire!" "...taking inspiration from The Walking Dead..." *THEN IT'S NOT DEAD RISING ANYMORE, NOW IS IT?!?!* *IT'S EVERY OTHER ZOMBIE GAME ON THE MARKET!!*
To be fair, while pushing boundaries with sequels are a good thing, you have to keep the tone of the franchise in mind too. Turning DR4 into a serious Walking Dead-inspired stealth game would kind of take away what made the franchise stand out from the rest of the oversaturated Zombie games out at the time. Granted, that doesn't excuse the firings, unforgiving development time and Capcom's excessive desire to stomp out all creativity in order to turn the game into a note-for-note carbon-copy of the other games.
@Grima the Fell Dragon I cant agree when they took 6 months to something different without talking with the company that pay the bills. Half a year of money being used without their consent that would make any boss unhappy.
@Grima the Fell Dragon Its hard I will not say that capcom was perfect but I think capcom asked for results and answer is they were working in the next dead rising and show some assets just to be showed something entire different or a new take they did not asked. In the did you know gaming video most of the staff that was on the interview dont blame capcom but the producers and heads of the studio for lack of vision and leadership not learning from the previous ones and doing the same mistakes DR4 did not break even and during DR5 and then trying to do side projects they lost like 40 million. I understand that you can feel a lack of motivation but you were hired to do a new dead rising and for that video it looks like that the problem is that they were trying to remove what make dead rising unique to do a copy of other popular games and not a better dead rising that it what pay the bills at the end,if the DR4 was a sucess and they had mastered the engine maybe capcom would let them something new.
@Grima the Fell Dragon I don't think that Capcom simply abandoned those IPs. It's just that the track record of Capcom Vancouver to drastically change a game from its roots gave Capcom a bad first impression that they're ruining it so they become hesitant from then on. Of course, the game could be good but it could also be bad.

Just my two cents: Having almost 3 years working for a Japanese company, I can fully say that trust is essential, almost sacred, when working with Japanese management. When Capcom Vancouver kept Capcom Japan out of the loop, that was likely their most fatal mistake and I think it would have been nearly impossible for them to rebuild that trust again. Needless to say, what an unfortunate situation this was for all parties involved! P.S. Sorry if I have any grammatical mistakes, English isn't my first language 😅
Year old comment, but I also worked for a Japanese owned company in the states. There's a larger issue, Japanese companies get so microfocused they will refuse to accept any other suggestions even if correct. They will always think they know better even when over 3k miles away. Seems it was more like that than trust as seen by forcing several copies of the same game denying every other pitch prior to project climber
@@kuro9410_ilust If that were the case then my stateside corporate heads would act the same way, which is not true. Your take is bad. Japan straight up copied a lot of US processes especially in automotive like assembly lines and they learned it from a Henry Ford book. It's how they built and developed a lot of their own manufacturing processes and business practices that we in the US copy like Kanban and Kaizen. No brainwashing 2 different cultures backed in different ideologies that built off each other to get them where they are today.
No. That wouldn't have mattered at all. High up Japanese businessmen are EXTREMELY closed minded, they literally do not understand the concept of change. Japan as a whole country has been fighting this mentality for a while now, but its still very ubiquitous at the executive level.
What trust? Yeah vancouver trusted that all their ideas were gonna get shut down so they made something on their own without the japanese cucks. If they had pitched it they wouldve just got denied
Dead Rising 5 was kinda an interesting idea. It was ment to take place between 2 and 3 following Katie and Chuck in La Mesa, Mexico about an outbreak during Day of the Dead, and the Cartel pretty much ran the city after the outbreak and Chuck / Katie was ment to work for them since they held an bucketload of Zombrex, doing tasks for them and gaining their trust. It was ment to have Swappable players, and 2 Player Coop. Chuck was ment to be an loud, frontal type who can craft items and bash through enemies, while Katie was playable and ment to be an stealth, and nimble character who can hack and lockpick, while having special abilities with her Infection like detecting enemies and faster movement. As you saw by the images, it was ment to have an stealth / slow focus. Tight corridor streets and lots of onfoot stuff with an simular open world to 2 with Doors seperating sections of the city, and Capcom was onboard with the Project, even considered having Parkour because of Origins and Capcom even tried bringing in Ex-Ubisoft employees who worked on Origins, and the team hated it SOOOO much and kept telling them no and kept putting them on the game's engine work. But after the failure of 4, Capcom kicked them under the rug. They tried salavaging the idea by showing it off to them before they were due to close, they were still interested but financially, they still said NOPE and shut them down anyway.
@@Toki-Ralte still should have better than this I can tell capcom Vancouver actually tried but capcom Japan has the pachinko machines so who cares right lol.
Honestly if you're a smaller studio instead of a main one, proposing that you want to make a huge open world rpg thing is not the brightest idea if you haven't proven that you can knock it out of the park consistently. Projects of such scope are scary even for big studios. They should've started with more humble ideas instead, specially considering how cool ideas on paper rarely mean an inherently great game in practice.
"Let's make a radically different game from the previous entries, not call it a spinoff, and not tell our bosses a single thing! That'll work out great!" Yeah I can't really sympathize with the devs too hard here, they screwed themselves pretty hard with that.
Seriously, you see the flack they got for just a voice actor change? Can you imagine turning this super arcadey franchise into another Last of Us clone? That would be an even bigger derailment than DMC: DMC. Even if the original concept had been greenlit and it turned out great, fans would be pissed that the reasons they love the series are essentially dead. Like, the first Dead Rising already took itself seriously story wise, it was the gameplay and time limit concept that made it stand out.
"We're shutting down your studio." "... YESSSS! Free at last! No more fucking Dead Rising, ever." Unfortunately, there were probably many staffers more concerned with the threat to their livelyhoods... but I like to think at least a few of the desperate pitchers had this response.
Tbh, every time they asked for permission, they were denied, so I kinda see the pent up frustration and burnout from only making dead rising games pushed them to go bananas
A Dead Rising that was more "grounded" and stealthy just doesn't sound like Dead Rising. Making a Last of Us clone was not a great decision, but neither was... mech suits.
This has been the What happened I've been waiting for Dead Rising is my favorite game of all time, with Frank being one of if not my favorite video game character. I've been a fan of the series since the first game playing every game as released. 4 was the only one I didnt play till a couple years after it came out. When it was announced with Frank back I was excited but after hearing his voice change and everything being stripped that made dead rising, well dead rising it turned me away so much. When I played it I was just bored the entire time, how do you make killing zombies dull and boring? Also all the hyping up that the one director did saying "It's for the fans" in every interview always made me mad considering most DR fans hated every single change.
Seems that every change was made more due to “NO BUDGET” than artistic decisions tho. Which actually makes sense. CORRECTION: NO BUDGET, NO TIME, NO STAFF
@@Lucaz99 You say that, but that's only because they wasted several months of budget and time on an even BIGGER departure from what made people love the series in the first place. Its really hard for me to sympathize with them. What if we made dead rising the walking last dead of us?
@@DarkBlaze6 I mean, they only did that because CAPCOM was like: “You make Dead Rising until you die” It seems that CAPCOM was not interested at all in ANY potential ideas Blue Castle games had and only had them to churn out Dead Rising games, so they tried to cheat the system by making a Dead Rising game in name only. I do think it was highly irresponsible making a bunch of costly decisions and not having your parent company in the loop at all, can’t believe they actually thought that was gonna work. Maybe they should have been more patient but I can totally understand the Studio’s desire to not just make Dead Rising clone after clone for so many years
I hear Raging Tide in here. Got a soft spot for Digimon Cybersleuth's OST. Really wish I could see all the background music mentioned in the description, I'd like to listen to more of the others too.
Dead Rising really needs time to breathe between entries. DR2 (all fifteen thousand versions of it) was an exception, since the franchise was still fresh and the foundation of DR2 was so strong, but I feel like "New Dead Rising" should be a rare occurrence, maybe once a generation at most. It's a great series overall, but its underlying gameplay can't sustain constant sequels. I dunno, maybe the hardcore DR players feel differently and want a new one every six months. Just my personal feeling on the franchise and how it could maybe settle into its niche more comfortably.
Yeah a once or maybe twice in a console generation would've done this series some justice, shoot the first one was technically made in people's free time before it was given a proper greenlight.
This franchise breaks my heart. I loved the first 3, and I'm so sad to see the franchise is pretty much dead right now. I hope it comes back one day. It's a pipe dream but I hope they retcon Dr4.
The time limit is the true enemy. The zombies, soldiers and psychopaths are obstacles to slow you down so the time limit screws you. I really can’t believe they removed it, it’s what made the zombies a threat!
@@TheUltimateNavigator1 True, and the ones that appear in main story missions always give you ample time to beat the mission. But ones like the Snipers in DR1 and 2, or The Convicts and Helicopter Pilot, and even Adam, who can lock down entire sections of the map if not dealt with, can become major nuisances. I did my best to avoid the Silver Strip as much as possible in DR2 because of the snipers on my first playthrough. I just wasn’t prepared for that when they showed up. That wasted a bunch of my time, too
When they saw that Dead Rising had "strange Japanese essence" they thought that to emulate it they had to turn the saga into a "Beat em up" / "Musou" for something the developers saw Frank West as a character from GTA
Capcom Vancouver: We would like to make anything but another Dead Rising Capcom Japan: I hear you talking but all I heard is another Dead Rising so get to it.
To be honest, this is one where I don't blame the studio for that initial "redo it and we won't pay you more". They essentially stole a ton of money from the studio to try and turn the studio's IP into a completely different game franchise under false pretenses. Yes, it sucks to be forced to make games you don't want to, but a grounded dead rising with no combo weapons in the style of other gritty zombie games is no dead rising at all, and honestly sounds WORSE than the final mess we got.
This entire video series is about big companies pissing against the wind. I'm so happy we are seeing a rise in the popularity of small indies and fired game devs who opened their own studios.
@@austinreed7343 no, very few indie games have a story worth talking about, and said games are the one you hear a lot by the promoters of the "indie dream", those things are anomalies in the market and there are many more examples of indie devs "pissing the wind".
@@strikersquirrel7365 I beg to differ I played most indies over the years and most of them were very good hell most of the games on my switch are indies
I really hope Capcom can bring DR back from the grave. There's so much dumb fun to be had in those games, and it would be a waste to not bring the series back for next gen.
They brought back MegaMan and DMC long after both franchises were left to rot. I'd say if there's enough demand for it such a thing could happen as thats how Capcom does things these days. Give the fans what they want if it looks like it will make enough money.
@@zeroattentiongaming820 But would Mega Man 11 still have happened had it not been for the failure of Mighty No. 9? Part of the problem with that IP is that the devs have said no one wanted to step up to fill Inafune's vacancy. Capcom clearly saw how well MN9 got funded and realized then (and after the community backlash at the final product) that people really wanted a Mega Man game.
I hope if Dead Rising 5 does come out, I hope it will go in a different step than the last game. Have the time limit as an option to appeal to both people who liked it and didn't like it. Maybe bring in some more survival mechanics like having to eat and drink for sustenance rather than just for health. Ability to board up widows in buildings to make safe houses.
Money, dear boy. The IP was a serious money maker, and Capcom was desperate to squeeze a ton of dough out of it by straying it far and away from its homegrown Japanese roots.
Here I sit literally 30 minutes before the release of DRDR, killing time and reminding myself of what we lost before I get to play (hopefully) the return of the king.
To be honest, I never liked the time limit in Dead Rising. 'Want to do the whole game? BETTER HUSTLE! Going at your own pace? Yeah sure, if you wanna miss everything!'
I mean even tho they seem "harsh" for not letting Vancouver studio's creativity to put it else where, they are still totally right to be mad since Vancouver studio basically using the fund money Capcom gave to another project, they simply using the money for Dead Rising to something Capcom never asked. I won't be happy either if i pay and fund someone to make me a hoodie jacket but then they give me a tank top that can light on in the dark, it's maybe cooler but i never asked for it, i just want a simple hoodie jacket being made with good materials. Tho i agree Capcom should properly listen to their ideas without straight rejecting it..
What's there to think about ?.The first was made by a a guy with his own unique sense of style. The other film didn't have him in any creative capacity .
pretty obvious: first movie was a love letter to the mecha and kaiju genre from a director that actually has an appreciation for them, the second was made to sell toys.
Before hearing the full story I like a lot of people just saw dead rising 4 as a shameless cash grab meant to milk the last remnants of a once respected franchise which ended up killing the studio behind it. After hearing everything I feel more sympathetic to Capcom Vancouver despite the stupid choices they made, it's honestly a shitty story all around with no one looking really good in the end, but no I have a new found sympathy and respect for Vancouver knowing they had plans for much better and original things but never were able to do them. I'm also sad that we probably won't be getting another dead rising for years, fuck dead rising might even end up like dino crisis and be abandoned for all we know, it's just a shame the series went out with a disastrous bang that faded into a whimper
Instead of having to craft stuff at tables, making combo weapons harder to come by, all u gotta do is walk up to something and hold a button down. Off the record is so much better than DR4.
True the dead rising series never sold that many compare to other big games, it does decently with the first game being sold only 2 million that’s still good considering it was only for Xbox at that time, year after 360 was release, with the 2nd selling 4 million combining off the record as well, with the 3rd game being 2.6 copies which is still good considering it was release same year Xbox one was release. While 4 flopped bad having only little over a million, despite having multiplat.
Speaking of the walking dead remember back in the day they'd have those Q and As with the whole cast and that host building up Negan for season 6 and 7, Talking Dead I think it was called, this was back when the show was hitting its stride Rick and Daryls prank wars Feels like eons ago too
I will never understand some companies it's like the aren't so many games among them and never play their own games. Capcom Japan rejected so many projects, for what? Stretching old IPs and make their own horrendous and hideous videogames? The nerve...
Capcom Vancouver: “What is my purpose?”

What Capcom Japan said: "It's too ambitious."

Projects of such scope are scary even for big studios. They should've started with more humble ideas instead, specially considering how cool ideas on paper rarely mean an inherently great game in practice.

@@DarkBlaze6 I mean, they
only did that because CAPCOM was like: “You make Dead Rising until you die”
It seems that CAPCOM was not interested at all in ANY potential ideas Blue Castle games had and only had them to churn out Dead Rising games, so they tried to cheat the system by making a Dead Rising game in name only.
I do think it was highly irresponsible making a bunch of costly decisions and not having your parent company in the loop at all, can’t believe they actually thought that was gonna work.
Maybe they should have been more patient but I can totally understand the Studio’s desire to not just make Dead Rising clone after clone for so many years
Bro big same
It literally looks like they took Micheals face from GTA and put it in Frank's body lmao
Thank for doing this one! DR1 is my favorite game and I'm so sad about the direction of the franchise...TJ will always be Frank!
I wouldn't mind smaller entries like Case Zero and Case West that told the stories of other survivors instead of big budget releases.
@@lonesquiff6551 That could be a good idea too, but I wouldn't mind a big release every once in a while.
Man.
That MM7 clip reminded me just how dire the ending was compared to the rest of the series. And how much I loved it.
Thanks for the video dude! Appreciate you taking a look at this series as it is or was... One of my favourites. Cheers mate 👌
I'd say psychopaths not so much as they're optional for the most part.
Of all the music I've heard in these videos, I never expected to hear music from Bionicle Heroes. (around the 4 minute mark)
Capcom Vancouver: We would like to make anything but another Dead Rising
Capcom Japan: I hear you talking but all I heard is another Dead Rising so get to it.
Man knowing that we could've gotten a new Dino Crisis game broke my heart...
To their defense, It was gonna be handled by Capcom Vancouver (which is not a good sign) so they dodged a bullet there
I personally hate Dino Crisis. I'm done with inaccurate dinosaur media.
would you want this team to make that though?
@@etinarcadiaego7424 Dino Crisis was a 1999 game released on PS1, of course the designs weren't going to age well, cut it some slack goddamn it.
I see you are a man of fine tastes. Gotta love the SMT: 3 OST.
Also dat CVS 2 ost.
Danganronpa V3 too
I think Killer7 was in there too
“*Blank* 4. What happened?” Tell me I’m wrong.
You could tell all the warning signs for this game after hearing how the team is talking about it.
This entire video series is about big companies pissing against the wind. I'm so happy we are seeing a rise in the popularity of small indies and fired game devs who opened their own studios.
indies most often churn out forgettable garbage
Why is Capcom so against anything that Capcom Vancouver pitched that isn't Dead Rising? Why are they so obsessed with this game?
Money, dear boy. The IP was a serious money maker, and Capcom was desperate to squeeze a ton of dough out of it by straying it far and away from its homegrown Japanese roots.
Here I sit literally 30 minutes before the release of DRDR, killing time and reminding myself of what we lost before I get to play (hopefully) the return of the king.
To be honest, I never liked the time limit in Dead Rising. 'Want to do the whole game? BETTER HUSTLE! Going at your own pace? Yeah sure, if you wanna miss everything!'
DR1: Cult masterpiece
DR2: Modest sequel
DR3: oof...
DR4: *nail in the coffin*
Dr3 was at least still kind of a dead rising game
Amazing how you are able to give us such amazing content every week. Keep it up mate!
>Brazil
>Action-Horror
Well, what else happens when you're sent to Brazil?
A great way to retcon this game would be to say this game was a game developed in universe to capitalize on Frank’s popularity
I would love to see just what the hell happened to pacific rim uprising. First movie great. Second movie. Utterly abysmal
Yeah it was weaker than the first that's for sure...
What's there to think about ?.The first was made by a a guy with his own unique sense of style. The other film didn't have him in any creative capacity .
pretty obvious: first movie was a love letter to the mecha and kaiju genre from a director that actually has an appreciation for them, the second was made to sell toys.
Yet another tragic failure of Capcom trying appeal to the Frank West.
Ah my favorite new protagonist in the dead rising franchise, hank east
Capcom didn't clip Blue Castle's wings. They chopped them off.
My first McMuscles vid, I’m impressed you have earned yourself another sub brother 👊🏻
Still mad AF, that they had to remove psychopaths from Dead Rising 4.
everybody gangsta til the Bionicle Heroes theme starts playing
This episode's motto: "But wait! It gets worse!"
After off the record deadrising died
@@MrYeahyuhhh no dr3 was good as well
Imagine having an entire development studio dedicated to a series that wasn't even a culture wide phenomenon in the first place.
DR would have been at best, a 1-game IP.
Speaking of the walking dead remember back in the day they'd have those Q and As with the whole cast and that host building up Negan for season 6 and 7, Talking Dead I think it was called, this was back when the show was hitting its stride
Rick and Daryls prank wars
Feels like eons ago too
I will never understand some companies it's like the aren't so many games among them and never play their own games.
Capcom Japan rejected so many projects, for what? Stretching old IPs and make their own horrendous and hideous videogames?
The nerve...
3:56 Is that the title theme from BIONICLE: Heroes playing in the background?
Just don't change the VAs - Splinter Cell, Dead Rising, Metal Gear Solid - people want what they want.
I looked through the channel and realized there wasn't a video on Playstation All-Stars. I am thoroughly shocked!
There should be.
