I love that you have this channel also. Follow you all the time. But this channel gets me away from all the news and Insanity going on in Canada and the world. So thanks and keep up the awesome work.
My hope is that this grows to some degree by the time the trudeau madness ends next year. Will people still watch after Trudeau is gone? I don't know. There probably won't be as much scandalous news thats for sure.
Thanks for the closer look at this tent. I currently have the MEC Spark one person tent which is still like 1.3kg. I recently got a UL pack (northern ultralight) so I think the tent would be the next place I would shave weight. Can't justify the cost of the zpacks yet but eventually I would love to get one. Man are we ever spoiled with this gear compared to the early expeditions around Strathcona
Problem for us out here is the shipping cost is a lot. But at 0.9 lbs for tent and stakes with a pole that would already be in the the pack its super light
No, the world’s lightest tent is a tarp that you configure into a tent. And that’s all a ‘tent’ is, except it comes pre-configured and you’re forced into that one configuration. You’re welcome.
@ you obviously don’t get it. Maybe look up various tarp configurations and read about the history of the the “tent” (which was a just a tarp, configured). But hey, don’t let facts get in the way of your feelings.
Avoid Zpacks - even though hardly used and undamaged, my duplex leaks through a dozen or so invisible holes in the DCF. Because I'm a dry weather hiker, I didn't discover this until after the warranty period expired. zPacks response was "our tents have a limited life, here's some repair tape". So now I have a non-waterproof tent with repair patches all over it.
Great review. Thank you. So many of the other reviews I've seen tend to skip over the finer details which you nailed.

micro-punctures or wear from prolonged use is not the fault of zpacks, stop complaining
@@zaneeeeeeeeeeeee-v4k Somehow I don't count less than two weeks on trail as prolonged use
