@BunnyMuffins my strategy is rush 50g and then level 7 and lose streak until 40-10hp to get swain 3star 6-shape with 2 arch angle staffs and bloodthirster and if possible give neeko and nasus 1-3 redemptions each. If I get any augments, priority is:better versions of items, omni vamp or armour. Swain is good cuz he is hard to kill yet can scale damage very hard. If you get row rejuv or knights vow you can go for 3 arch angle staffs since you can burst tanks down faster and scale better vs guinsoos due to better health gain per swain ability.
As an emerald player, I learned from this video lol. I struggle hard with pivoting mid game. I also struggle with augments like fortune where you fly close to the sun and have to roll fast and build your team in one planning session. I avoid these type of augs and feel like I’m leaving opportunities on the table
So you're telling me going into the game with no plan and just using whatever is thrown at me, is not the only and most optimal way to play? I actually have to think? Darn
Not sure if this counts, but it's good to know that every set will be fundamentally different, with a much different mechanic. For example, with Charms. If you're going fast 8, it's important to have good management to buy some of these charms later on, as they can easily change a fight/game completely.
This is very true. I feel like every set, I had to learn soemthing different. In set 9 it was all about fast 9, I've never learned how to do that. For only playing for like just a year now and started set 9, even though I hit masters in 3 months, it's still shit I've never learned each set and had to learn to climb up and improve.
ideas for followup video: meta stats and how they lie play for 2-4 place (or even 7th) next player combat prediction fun vs practicality touching grass
thank youu! im new in this game just got silver 2, its so hard to play this game and now i know why i lose because i ALWAYS roll like crazy to get the champ i want, i never have deposit coin hahahahah
This might be a dumb question but when is it ideal to do a reroll comp. I feel like its so dependent on hitting ur units so its risky but when is it the best conditions
First:you need to make sure that your carry is good enough (let's say in witchcraft there is cassiopeia that will help you throughout til late game) and no one is contesting it (this is important because unless you have champ duplication, you WILL NOT hit three star). Second:Depend on your carry, you roll at specific level. Much preferably after the mob round because you get a free round with golds. Take the example above about cassiopeia: She is two cost, which ideally you want to roll down at level 6 and try to three star her. Level 7 if you carry is 3 cost,8 if 4 cost,9-10 for 5 cost. If you have a long win streak, you don't specifically need to reroll a single unit and you can decide on what you want to three star. Reroll comps mostly involving with low cost unit like one-two cost (which is why some comp like honeymancer are typically good reroll comp, because they have stable power throughout the game and their low cost unit is good)
We have limited resources in the game. Level 9 is very expensive. I could say "why roll at 9 for 4 costs, why not level 10?" but the reason is the same. It's very expensive to go up those levels, so you roll for them at 8
I have breached gold a week now finally with spamming 6 faeries, slow but guaranteed 1-4th place. i play around 5 to 6 games daily since, lost every single game with every comp including the one that carried me and finished 5th only twice. Aiming for gold then switching it up to hyper roll sounds like the goal now :(
Random question - I just started this set. Was Bronze II, 40-something LP. Took 1st. Bronze I, 90LP. That just because I’ve played a while (and usually wind up in Gold), because half the lobby was Silver… all of the above?
Yeah the longer you spend in one rank the more your LP normalises around that rank, if you’re winning a lot in whatever rank you’ll gain more LP because it’ll assume you’re better than the rank youre in. I am usually a master or diamond player (depending on how much time I get to play) and at the start of a set it only takes a handful of games to get to emerald again as long as I win
I struggle with tilt when people grief me. It hasn’t happened in lower ranks but I hit zap attack in emerald and someone literally went 8th to take all the blitzes I finally got the 3 star once they died but it was too late to recover. Like how do you pivot after taking that augment?
"If you put every Defensive Item you could on Nasus, would he be Tanky?" No, you would still find him being 3-Shot and wondering what Defense is even for in this game.
haha nah it's still good to put tank items on tanks, he might need more shapeshifter to 'feel tanky' but he has been a very reliable tank for most of th set
The reason you often see people reroll only two of their augments is because of how the flowchart of picking your augment works. Of the first 3 you're offered, you want to identify which one is the best for your team/situation, then reroll the other 2 to see if you get anything better. If you don't get something better, it's safer to take that third augment instead of rerolling it. If you do see a better augment in one of those first 2 rerolls, then you may as well reroll the third one to see if you get something better than that. And sometimes it's still better to reroll the third augment just to gamble for something hopefully better because you don't like any of the options you see
No matter how many tutorials I watch or games I play I never even remotly come close to winning. Honestly don't understand how people like this sorry excuse for a game mode. It's the worst game mode I've ever played.
Hard disagree on Tempo. What tempo usually means is the strenght of the lobbys boards on a specific time. So specific comps want to be above the tempo in specific timers. For example Kog maw usually goes above the tempo on stage 3-2 and than the lobby catches up with him and overtakes him around stage 4-2 or 4-5 and he goes back above tempo when he hits the 3 stars.
@@clappedbyben5438 tempo literally means timing/speed/pace in all the games it's used in (chess, card games, etc). obviously the definition is slightly tailored to that game but the meaning stays the same (in chess, gaining a tempo is gaining a turn. In hearthstone, Sap is used in tempo decks)
@@BunnyMuffinsI know it does. Tempo is literally Latin for Time. The Issue I have with explaining it as just that for beginners and intermediates is that it does not capture what exactly you want to do on Tempo. if I was a beginner all over again and I would watch smb say that he is a behind tempo and it is explained as Timing I would not understand what exactly he means. That’s why iam trying to advocate for the explanation of tempo I advocated for it makes it entirely clear what is meant when I say iam above or below tempo.
all these idiots saying anything other than this game is all luck are delusional. yes theres a skill, learning some stuff, but MOST of the game is gambling. its just like poker, blackjack but with more cards.
Hey man it’s just an advise but pls kinda make them more interactive. I know it’s hard but you can at least type out the subtitles big and attractive for engagement
If you're talking about forced subtitles that we can't turn off? Terrible advice. Changing the default subtitles you control? Not sure that's an option, but I don't know those things

I try to scout, maybe see one other person that has a 3 cost unit i want. I never see that until its too late. Idk what im doing when i scout
where do you get this video format? I been seeing it everywhere xd
Why roll for 4 cost is better at lvl 8 instead of 9 ?

to refer to WaterParkTactics he explains it better then I did in my comment.
